Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

I've got a pair exactly like these (different brand iirc) and can confirm they are nice.
Only issues are that it's super annoying when you go out and 5 minutes later the battery dies. But you learn quick to charge your shit after that happens once or twice.
And sometimes the band will get stuck to the back of my neck when I start sweating. All in all, 9/10 would recommend.

Had mine for a couple years, where my corded ones would die in ~6 months.

If Alan Moore saw this, he’d probably be like this:

Just get a pair of IEMs dude. Most of them are made to be swooshed over the tops of your ears and have removable cables that are easily replaceable.

Plus there are ones that are really cheap these days. So they’re not just a pretentious audiophile thing. The ones in that product photo are like 30 quid.

I got them as a gift so idk how much they were, but they definitely aren't top of the line. And basically look just like this but the cords aren't removable (and I wouldn't want to because again, way too easy to lose)

I have these

I got them for like 20 bucks in Ali Express, i think some sellers even sell them with an extra detachable cable. They're perfect for playing videogames on a handheld.

Just to go back to the criticisms of Disneyland culture: every time I see a post of some overweight middle-aged couple where the woman is wearing a denim jacket and a pair of Minnie Mouse ears with the attached bow, I can't help but immediately think "sexless marriage".

Just something I found today while looking for other things.

Wait, she just NOW joined the Star Wars fandom? Jesus, that is like deciding to board the Titanic after it hits the iceberg.
I always wondered who was actually watching things like the Disney streaming Star Wars shows, now we know.

I'm not convinced she actually watches them. I think she just saw the memes and community online and decides to buy a cheap saber to join in. You see weird posers jumping from Fandom to Fandom all the time for the attention or sense of belonging.

Now you've forced my hand.

Oh no, I've found a new hashtag of bullshit: #starwarsreaction

Nu-Star Wars fandom seriously having to shill Obi-Wan Kenobi’s spinoff show by making “spoilers” to something that is exclusively on Disney+ is just proof that they’re getting lazier with their consumerism.
