Optimistic at best, it's going to be hard to argue not charging him with rape and or incest. You can't sugarcoat his crimes, and don't want to send somebody like Chris back out into the world with everybody knowing that he puts his own needs before others and is 100% fine with hurting others to sate his own desires. There also isn't a misdemeanor for his crime. Mother/father/son/daughter/grandkid is a class 5 felony. If Barb is found to be just as guilty in this as Chris is, she could be charged with a class 3 felony. Misdemeanor incest is basically brother/sister/cousin, generally anybody whose relationship is not that of a parental figure.
Where are you getting that Barb would somehow be facing a class 3 felony? If she was to be charged, it will be class 5 too,

The funniest possible outcome is Chris going free and Barb getting charged and convicted

I wouldn't call that funny given the only difference is Chris gets off scott free. Barb is never going to live under the same roof as her son again nor see him. Hell, she wouldn't survive prison - she's going to end up in a home.

Anything that belonged to Chris is now valuable memorabilia and a collector's item, as long as you can prove provenance.

Clown world: As it might have been The Beatles fifty years ago.
I equate owning Chris garbage to collecting Nazi memorabilia in Israel. You don’t dare show anybody, and the people that would be impressed(instead of horrified) by it are extremely rare and just as nutty as you.

Here is a thought brought to you by Pink Floyd....

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun
Shine on you crazy diamond
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky
Shine on you crazy diamond
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom
Blown on the steel breeze
Come on you target for faraway laughter
Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon
Shine on you crazy diamond
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light
Shine on you crazy diamond
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision
Rode on the steel breeze
Come on you raver, you seer of visions
Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine....

Only a few more weeks.

Are you guys excited?
Only a few more weeks until we get to see what 6 weeks of jail without any real distractions will do to Chris.
Will he retreat into his own mind and become sonichu again?
Will he scream and demand to be set free?
Will he realize how big of trouble he's in or will he still think everything will go back to normal?

Only a few more weeks until we get to find out.

So what does the state do to the property? Does it get sold off? Does it become the state’s property? Does everything just get donated, or does it get tossed? Genuinely curious.
The bank has a security interest and will probably foreclose if they figure out the house is empty, because bad things happen to empty houses, from looting to pipes bursting and nobody noticing. Any tax debt runs with the property, so they'll have to pay that. Also the state could possibly condemn it after having a look at the filth and hoarding inside. Barb's hoard trash and Chris's garbage is also probably worth so little from the conditions it's been kept in that it wouldn't even be worth going through to look for shit to auction off.

I've heard Barb has stacks of unopened boxes from eBay and Amazon and such. I suppose some of that might be worth something, but not enough to save the house.

It also seems unlikely either Barb or Chris will ever live there again. If there's any positive equity, the sooner Barb sells it, the better for her, and if she has to spend it down to qualify for Medicaid or something, best get on that. It's a pretty grim ending for the 14 BC era.

Who knows how much we’ll be able to find out? We might get nothing except a website updated to say it’s all been postponed for another month.

The process of foreclosure is weird and not what people might think. Because of the state of the house things get even more complicated. I will try to explain.

As of now there is no foreclosure protection due to covid (it ran out July 30th) so lets just assume that Barb stops paying the mortgage outright starting now.

The foreclosure process take about 4 months. Lets fast-forward to that time.

Barb would be evicted. I am guessing that she would end up staying with someone from the church or be placed into a state funded care facility, that is its own discussion.

The house will be locked and be left there. There is a high likelihood that the house will get broken into, robbed, squatted in, etc.
The state of the house will actually become worse (i have watched this happen myself) as squatters don't really care.
The house will eventually go up for auction but not until all the financials are figured out. This can take over a year.
Based on the notoriety of the house we can pretty much guarantee that the house will be looted.
the house will eventually go to auction where it will be purchased, gutted and renovated.

Now the problem is that there is no money in flipping houses at the moment because of the cost of building materials
if the house does sell, the new owner (personal or corporate) may let the house sit there until its more advantageous to move forward.

Unless there is a neighbor interested in the property, these things can drag on for years.

Who the fuck is going to squat in a hoarder's house that is infested with bed bugs?

I think we'll know whether the prosecution is adding charges. The next step after the prelim is the grand jury and I think they'll want to get on that, at least unless they decide for whatever reason not to charge him with any felonies. (The incest charge he already has is either a felony or can be charged as a misdemeanor but I think it's more likely they add new charges than reduce the one they have.)

A retard. Squatters aren't also particularly picky about their hygiene. It's likely something will happen to the house as it sits empty. At the very least, some sped will steal shit from the house.

Jacob fucking Sockness didn’t want to stay there. And THAT dude lives in a gay homeless shelter next to a homemade blood alter and yet 14 blc was well below his acceptable living standard.

Plus I’ve heard the day lily garden is haunted as fuck by patti the dog and the ghost of Christopher Chandler.

Chris is rubber with lightening; I'd be very surprised if he actually gets a serious sentence like 10 years in prison and having to pay for Barb's medical or something.

The most I think he'd get is maybe a year, probation and placed in a group home but since he's only grown in infamy they probably wouldn't just slap him on the wrist and turn him out in the streets....

I really wonder what they'll do, it's such a weird case.
