Not excusing Chris, obviously, but we still don't have confirmation that she effectively has dementia or not. So, if not, that wouldn't add to the charges and, if his previous events with justice are anything to go by, his autism and usual treatment of a child trapped in an adults body will effectively prevent him from facing the full sentence. For anyone wondering what Chris may potentially be facing in terms of sentencing, permit me to draw your attention to the following:
Man gets 12 life sentences for rape of 9 year old
That trial also took place recently in Greene County. We can debate the difference between rape involving a 9-year-old girl and rape involving a dementia-ridden 80-year-old woman all we want, but the reality is that they're both acts that are far, far beyond being merely reprehensible. This also means that any jury drawn from that part of the world is not likely to recommend a light sentence for incestuous rape, and it's doubtful that a judge would disagree with the jury's recommendations.
It's not "the tard" card. It's a person who never developed after the point of a child. There are literally systems in place to judge whether or not the person who will be fit to stand trial.

Dementia or not, raping Barb is clearly elder abuse. That would almost certainly enhance the charges against him.Not excusing Chris, obviously, but we still don't have confirmation that she effectively has dementia or not. Here's what I expect will happen:Like if Chris was a normal person and would get, say, 5-10 years, kiddie autistic Chris might just get 1-2 at most. I'm completely fucking ignorant of american laws so I wonder how this will actually go, assuming he doesn't get another slap on the wrist despite the severity of the situation.
Here's the thing: while I don't necessarily disagree with you, Chris' hatred of anything that casts aspersions on either his sanity or mental capacity could very well sink that in court. If sequestering him in a tardhouse for the rest of his natural life was on the cards, I could very well see him completely melting down in court. Hell, even just sending him for a court-ordered evaluation could cause the same thing - and that could potentially be viewed as contempt. It depends on how good a performance Chris puts on. I definitely agree he actually is competent to stand trial, despite having successfully played the tard card throughout his life to justify his antisocial behavior, but still think he might manage to get a delay and spend his confinement until trial in a mental hospital instead of jail, and Heilberg would be remiss not even to try.
Maybe. Again, I see the point you're driving at, but there's enough in Chris' own actions to show that he planned this out. Diminished capacity is going to be difficult to argue with the sheer number of real-world activities and interactions he took part in on a regular basis.I think he's going to want mental health evidence in the record as early in the case as possible, even if only to set up a diminished capacity defense for later.
A wonderful fantasy. I can picture it in detail.Heilberg: "My client's just a poor autistic transwoman struggling against the might of the Internet attempting to keep her down, down in a world of pain and despair and unhappiness. That's why s/he had to fuck her mom."
We don’t have confirmation, and never will unless it is brought up in the charges or court record. .. but yes she unquestionably suffers from dementia or clear cognitive decline. If she doesn’t then the County has apparently kidnapped her with the help of the hospital system. You don’t have to be expressly told that there’s an elephant in the room with you to know there’s an elephant in the room. The actions by the County Authorities tell the story. The fact that she has not returned home and is seemingly still under skilled nursing care somewhere tells us she was found in a state incapable of caring for her own well-being. Either severe cognitive and physical decline, or some alarming medical condition. (Hmmm! I wonder what Baby Boy Chris doing his Waltz of Love did to her hips and pelvis?)Not excusing Chris, obviously, but we still don't have confirmation that she effectively has dementia or not. Fun fact, incest isn't even illegal between consenting adults in New Jersey and Rhode Island, although they can't get married.I'm completely fucking ignorant of american laws so I wonder how this will actually go, assuming he doesn't get another slap on the wrist despite the severity of the situation.
That said, it wouldn't be the first time we've predicted doom for him only for him to turn out to be the Teflon Tard yet again.
Which is an excellent point, and one that explains why courts generally look upon rapists as having a high probability of re-offending post-release: almost without exception, they do.He's already gone this far. What's to stop him from going further and getting away with even more?
Well, one hopes the evidence. What I'd hope the prosecution does is, if it's available in Virginia, and Barb isn't a complete gibbering vegetable, is move for something called a deposition de bene esse, which allows cross examination and confrontation in a deposition, and can be introduced at trial. He's already gone this far. What's to stop him from going further and getting away with even more?
Chris is very attached to his “high functioning” status and likes to think of himself as a totally normal adult who juuust has a touch of the tism though. We'll see. I'm not particularly attached to this opinion, but I'll note Brian David Mitchell managed to put off his trial for literally years with obviously bogus performative insanity, despite his crime fairly clearly demonstrating a good deal of premeditation.
In theory it's a lower standard of sanity than the standard for NGRI, but if it's granted, it usually just delays the case. If they put an incompetent person on trial, though, they risk an appeal on the issue.

ive wanted to smack his stupid face since high school as hes always walked around with that smug '' im so perfect'' face and shit on everyone else, what still gets me to this day is why he never got his ass beat in school, most people who act like he did or even do half the shit Chris did, got bullied and beat up left and right, how Chris managed to also escape that all through school, ill never understand because most people who are even half as big of an ass as he was, get handled eventually, and people who do even a fraction of the dumb shit he did, get whats coming, but no, not Chris. We'll see. That would be the Teflon Tard for ya.ive wanted to smack his stupid face since high school as hes always walked around with that smug '' im so perfect'' face and shit on everyone else, what still gets me to this day is why he never got his ass beat in school, most people who act like he did or even do half the shit chris did, got bullied and beat up left and right, how chris managed to also escape that all through school, ill never understand because most people who are even halfas bigof an ass as he was, get handled eventually, and people who do even a fraction of the dumb shit he did, get whats coming, but no, not chris.
Drowning a kid is harder than giving him therapy, teaching the kid something, or just ploping him in front of the TV.Real talk, why didn't his parents just drown him in a bathtub years ago or something and say he tarded out?
Real answer is that both of them clung desperately to the idea/dream of Chris being their one good child; the redemption in light of how their earlier marriages failed and their kids alienating them. Something which Chris could never be given his obvious handicaps. He ended up being their greatest failure, sin and burden - eventually they just stopped giving a shit.Drowning a kid is harder than giving him therapy, teaching the kid something, or just ploping him in front of the TV.
I think he's very attached to not being in prison too. I guess we'll see what's more important to him. I think it will depend on his level of sheer terror if he figures out this isn't one of those things that just goes away.Chris is very attached to his “high functioning” status and likes to think of himself as a totally normal adult who juuust has a touch of the tism though.
And then there was that incredibly fucked up phase where Barb insisted on spooning with him. It's almost painfully inevitable in retrospect that this would happen. I certainly didn't see this coming. Not that Chris isn't obviously enough of a pervert to do this but I didn't think he would actually do something as horrifically criminal.Fate is hilariously cruel like that.
Playing the tard card is chris himself trying to trick the court, the court finding him unfit to stand trial isn't the tard card. That is LITERALLY the definition of a “Tard Card”.
What TF do you think “tard” means?
Not if you attach enough weight and live in a coastal region with deep water. Or so I've benn told...Drowning a kid is harder than giving him therapy, teaching the kid something, or just ploping him in front of the TV.
yes ! i would buy a bus ticket to go see this trial, i really hope its open as in they allow audience, or at least i hope its recorded so we can hear and hopefully see what goes on and how much Chris tantrums out .I wish I could go to the trial and watch. It's gonna be like the greatest law and order episode ever.
september 16thI thought it was on the 16th?
Remember when he went on an extended spiel about how he changed a while back, and how he was a good person. I remember telling everyone that people who tell others that they're such good and virtuous people are usually just deviants who need to be ostracized into homelessness and death.....but nobody listened.agreed ! and to add the icing on the cake, chris has been inappropriate with barb before, spooning, touching inappropriately,.. plus he bought a damn book to help him go that next step with her ! chris is full on aware and hes full on guilty. this was planned and it was worked up to so to speak.
It's the new 9/11 for Barb's chyna.september 16th
