This is bait but it's still pretty shameful when she was "stealth" fishing for compliments when Stan died. That legit bums me out and I have no idea why she thought it was a good idea. She did delete it after people got mad though but it's something that always comes to mind with me.

Stan had more influence on media in general than being "the goofy comic guy who shows up in the movies" and this is a pretty big insult. Not as insulting as selling overpriced merch with his name on it before the body was cold but it's almost "selfies at grandpa's funeral. lol" bad.

Funny how she wants to be woke and aware of social injustice but also has the mindset of an insenstive social media millennial.

Kevin Feige doesn't give a shit about middle eastern characters yet. He's still working on Asians

Kamala is not Middle Eastern. She's Pakastani and they're considered South Asian. Actually calling them Middle Eastern would probably cause a huge meltdown on Twitter/tumblr.

It kind of amazes me how many people have limited their view of what it means to be "Asian", which is the most diverse and populous continent on earth. for example no one wants to call Gal Gadot "Asian" even though Israel is part of Asia/West Asia.

to be fair, ME being part of the same continent as Japan is bullshit, especially since it's been established that Europe gets to be it's own continent despite having fuck nothing to do with geography. Really it would make more sense to have an Occident with Europe and MENA and an Orient with East Asia and India.

I can see your points and agree but our concept of "continents" varies on who you ask. In Canada West Asians are considered to be "Asian Canadian" for statistical/demographic purposes. Like so: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/89-621-x/89-621-x2007003-eng.htm But this isn't the case in America and other places.

They're suppose to be continuous landmasses and there are terms like "Eurasia" or even "Afro-Eurasia". There are Caribbeans who don't really see themselves as being "North American" but as a separate entity all together. And in UK "Asian" is synonymous with people from the Indian Subcontinent.

Gal already gets in deep shit with people for being a Zionist

True. If Gal wasn't a Zionist she'd probably be tumblr/twitter's feminist queen.

Gal is pretty much the ultimate conundrum for them: She is technically a minority and appears to be very nice and has spoken out about some social issues. But she doesn't give a shit about Muslims and Palestinians. So I guess Brie "Is that a personal attack" Larson is a more "correct" choice.

In a retarded autismy kinda way, yeah.

India has historically been far more involved with the west than the far east.

India and East Asia's relationship is kindof weird because it's rather one sided, There's been a ton of Indian influence in East Asia with Buddhism, Hinduism and such, but not a lot of East Asian influence in India, and on the flipside there's pretty much no Indian influence west of Afghanistan but a whole lot of Europe/Middle East influence in India with the Indo Aryan, Persians, Greeks, Arabs, Turks, and Britbongs conquering them, sometimes multiple times. Honestly India doesn't really fit with either but I could definitely see why you think that, especially with how closely related Hinduism is with European Paganism and the Linguistic/Ethnic connection.

Even still, Hindu Indians have never really been diplomatically/culturally connected the way Europe and MENA are.

Algebra and the concept of zero are ultimately Indian in origin, so that's some influence west of Afghanistan. There's decent amount of references to the place in classical Greek text as well, but I lack the knowledge to tell you if the same is true of Chinese texts from around the same time.

true, Alexander's adventure in Hindustan brought a lot of interest of India to Europe and ME, a decent amount of people in Epirus became Buddhists iirc, but my main point is that the connection isn't as intimate as Europe and MENA where everything is intertwined.

Did karma came back to bite Brie Larson? Some old news from 2017 about a movie she starred titled "Basmati Blues" for being racist resurfaced.
