Curious question, how much do you all think the net worth and value of the Marvel Studios library (the MCU films) is worth?

Enough that it's grating to hear them banging on about middle-class Americans being selfish.

I didn't mind Brie but Honest Trailers did point out something. She was extremely dull and flat in her line delivery a lot of times. I know shes basically fish out of water but still. Also I wasn't aware the films were known for Oscar worthy acting lmao (you'd be surprised given how fans are obsessed with Evans) but I still remember people gave ScarJo shit for the films. Personally her greatest performances were in The Winter Soldier and Endgame. I'm so ready for her espionage thriller film though.

(She gets more hate for GTIS, Soda Stream, and Woody Allen films than other actors like Tom Hiddleston...who has a signed letter from Allen hanging on his wall.....)

Having seen both CM and A:Endgame, I swear it's not so much Larson as it is the directing. Knock me over with a feather but she comes off as at least tolerable during Endgame (could be because she's absent for most of it, sure, but still).

The directors for CM were primarily TV oriented (though Ryan Fleck had a couple films under his belt). So I can't help but wonder if that played a part.

I admit I'm surprised they're going ahead with a BW film. ScarJo did quite well, but she couldn't carry GITS or Lucy at all. We'll see, I guess.

Idk. ScarJo can carry some films....(didn't Lucy make a shitton of money in China or something?) and shes done a few good popcorn films, like The Nanny Diaries and Girl With a Pearl Earring.

By far one of her best films is definitely Under the Skin. And that's one she DEFINITELY carried well, especially given the tone of the movie.

She gave one of her best performances in Endgame. It works when she actually has material to work off of. If her film goes back and forth between origin story and her revival in the lake, I think it will work.

Honestly I would love something like her in the soul stone, reflecting on her past life. Marvel isn't smart enough for that.

Kamala is actually decently popular, while nobody gives a shit about America Chavez and I think Shang-Chi is gonna be about as much as the Asians get. My money is on her going in quicker than any of the rest of the new breed they've been kicking around the past few years. My question is whether she actually gets popped in the movies, or dismissed with a streaming series. Because despite how much they're putting into that new service, nobody is going to give anything close to as many fucks about her with a show as they would with even a cameo in a cinematic appearance.

I don't know where she is morality-wise but last time I chechecked she had gone back to being evil (I WISH I was kidding because among other things like not caring that Cyclops died from the Inhuman roaming Terrigen gas cloud that kill mutants except to make him a symbol for the fight against the Inhumans, hiding his death from other mutants to manipulate them, going even crazier (she wanted to genocide the Inhumans), dressing like a reject Magneto and siding with Captain Hydra they fucked her up badly), I don't know if they even remotely better written but for years (I stopped keeping tracks after the end of Secret Empire pissed me off majorly) but Marvel has/had a utterly ridiculous hateboner for the X-Men
