Reform was a bit before I was old enough to care about anything political, my dad however talks about them from time to time. My understanding is that before they merged Reform and Canadian Alliance(?) used to have the same kind of relationship the Libs and NDP do now?

White liberals would never live in a third or second world country. It's just that their white-guilt overpowers their racism.

Also that ChaosWeeber person is wild, I saw a post where she said basically conservatives and "maple MAGA" should be thrown into death camps.

Another thing is that she's borderline homeless iirc, as she has to ration 5 dollar meals for lunch, and she lives in Vancouver. I don't wanna sound rACiSt, but only white people are willing to become homeless to "own the fash." Also, she's technically a fascist for liking anime, since anime is from Japan and Japan is super conservative.

I'm pretty sure she's also unironically 100% white as well, with friends like these, who needs enemies...

Infighting amongst the BC Conservative party has taken a weird turn.

Backdrop:
In the last BC provicial election, the BC United party (formally the BC liberal Party) was losing really badly in the polls to the previously practically non-existant BC Conservative Party. In an attempt to prevent a split in the vote, the BC United decided to do a last-minute merge with the BC Conservatives, with BC Conservative leader John Rustad picking the best candidate for a region from the two parties.

It was messy. Some of the losing candidates decided to run as an independent, which split the vote in some regions anyway, and you wound up with a hybrid party with a mottled mix of career politicians and first-term upstart firebrands to face against a weak NDP majority.

Infighting has been bubbling behind the scenes ever since. One Conservative MLA committed the horrible political sin of speaking against the feathered Indians, so John kicked her out amidst all the negative press. She and two other resigning Conservative MLAs formed their own party called OneBC, which the NDP has been yelling that they are a far-right party and should be recalled, blah blah, you know the speil.

I get the feeling this sparked a civil war as you have the more idealogical Conservatives who want "an answer to the native question" clashing with the others who are more optics-focused. I get the impression some of the hard-liners think John is not based, and so rumors float of him yelling and being a big meanie and therefore unsuitable for leadership.

One other incident that comes to mind is John yelling in legislature that someone in his party is trying to extort or blackmail him, which had Eby outright tell him either give that evidence to the RCMP or shut up, don't bring petty drama in here.

Their party charter says a leader can only be removed by Resignation, Death, incapactation, or a leadership review. This summer there was a leadership review vote which John passed - I think is was about 70 percent in favor. After passing the vote, John immediately goes and sacks another MLA out of his party, I presume because during the vote was perhaps one of the more vocal critics or appeared to be a ringleader.

So let's go to today. A letter was released saying 20 of the 39 party members are unsatisfied with his leadership and demand that John resign. A few hours later, another letter was released saying John Rustad is PROFESSIONALLY incapacitated, is unable to lead, and will assign a new leader. John has tweeted saying that he is not resigning.

So a rebel faction within the provicial Conservative party is so desperate to dump a milquetoast leader that they are triggering a charter crisis on their party. Meanwhile the NDP ignores them and does whatever they want.

Isn't Canadian politics fun?

For there to be any luck involved in where you’re born, doesn’t that concede the existence of a soul/god. Otherwise you literally never had a chance to be born elsewhere. And following from that you could argue a divine plan for where you were born.

My conclusion, god didn’t want jeets or africans to leave their respective countries and letting them immigrate is sinful. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Do you really think liberals know jackshit about the people they're importing? All they know are that Canada is racist and colonial so importing people is good in order make up for white guilt.
