That drop in unemployment is mostly seasonal jobs and people running out of EI.

Canada on paper should have an easier time dealing with it's immigration problem. Most of the people that came here got to this country through LEGAL loopholes, and we don't have nearly as much "missing" migrants as European countries or even the USA does. Too bad Cucknadians are too incompetent to fix any of this.

I definitely think a part of mass immigration is done for malicious reasons, and of course to make up for "white guilt." Though I wouldn't be surprised if Canadians really think we have enough space for mass immigration...despite the fact most of the country is uninhabitable, cuz Canadians know jack shit about their own country.

I've straight up seen Cucknadians who basically want a communist style planned-economy, cuz Canadians think that "big government" would automatically make the country run better. Given how liberals basically won guaranteed majorities in the 20th century, yet we're in the same situation as we are now, we'd run just as poorly as a dictatorship as we do now. The funny thing is that modern communist countries (besides north korea) are mixed economies now, so Canada would actually be regressing in that scenario.

She goes so far as to tell “lowlife criminals” if they don’t want to get shot then don’t break into anybody’s home.

The line drew huge applause from members of the UCP she leads, including from those who booed when any mention was made of the pipeline deal between Smith and Carney or how Canada was now working.

Amery didn’t have the case on hand but there was a home invasion incident recently grabbing headlines in Ontario.

A guy woke up in his apartment in the middle of the night to find an intruder, out on probation, allegedly armed with a crossbow. The apartment dweller had a knife, allegedly fought back and the home invader received injuries requiring transport to a hospital.

The apartment dweller was charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

“There’s no appetite for that here in Alberta.”

This will cause Liberal heads to explode for sure. Self Defence? In my CANADA? I THINK NOT! So we'll just have to wait and see but the Lord know how much Canadians are sick and tired of seeing violent criminals get off with nothing more then a slap on the wrist and go out and commit more violent crimes the next day. Shit needs to change and Smith knows it.

National Socialism is the natural government for Canadians. There’s a reason why Mackenzie King was one of our our longest serving Prime Minister ( I think Laurier has him beat).

The National policy of John A Macdonalds Conservative Party was basically proto-National Socialism.

I'm actually a huge advocate for extensive and comprehensive social welfare, and progressive taxation.

The difference is that I oppose mass immigration, and multiculturalism. I'm not in favour of sharing our social system to hordes of Third Worlders who most likely will never assimilate into Western culture.

Assimilation takes an almost glacial pace. The grandkids of an immigrant at earliest — why countries like Denmark take an active role to interdict to move it along; to avoid parallel societies. I take a rule of thumb of 50 years.

Without any active intervention; you get no go zones like Malmö in Sweden — our future.

Canada had really fast assimilation in the 1990s and 2000s because it was actually multicultural. However, the numbers have become so extreme that the country now has racialized ghettos

Another factor is the internet and society being more isolated. People can now live in a new country and maintain their friend network from their home country.
