The RS-37 difference: Eachwheel of the RS-37 isstudded with positive and negative graviton emitters. Positive gravitons projected in front of and under the wheel pull the road surface toward the bike, while negative gravitons emitted behind the contact patch push the motorcycle forward.
p. 85

Frank thinks gravitons are turquoise little dots.

I sometimes wonder whether we should have a thread "Scifi pseudoscience lolcows" or something...
It's worse than that. Gravitons are only theoretical and may or may not exist, just like tachyons and other star trek technobabble.

Not really -- the graviton cannot yet be observed due to the extreme weakness of gravity, but it predicted to exist under the assumption that all natural forces can be quantised and have a carrier particle.
Tachyons are much further into scifi technobabbel territory, as our current understanding of nature does not permit superluminal velocities of any kind*) (with exceptions: Cosmic expansion and pseudo-velocities such as a dot of a laser beam streaking across the lunar surface). There are ways to mathematically construct tachyons, but there is no evidence there is a real-world counterpart of this (in fact, since relativity has been extensively verified in experiment, there is a lot of indirect evidence against them!). This is worse than Magnetic Monopoles, which, while so far unobserved, at least do not violate our basic understanding of how the universe works.

*) Dat triggering to you, Brianna? I know you are a Trekkie.

I did a Wu and only skimmed the wikipedia article looking for what I wanted to see. Sorry.

Because I'm not a nerd, the only time I've ever heard "gravitons" is in Futurama when Professor Farnsworth mentions "gravitons and graviolis," and this explanation doesn't really seem too dissimilar.

Eh. I'm not going to fault a game like this one for having shit science. I'm going to fault it for SEARING MY GODDAMNED EYEBALLS INTO CHARCOAL BRIQUETTES.

She did log into Kickstarter yesterday, in order to properly ignore these gamergate terrorists who trolled her by donating money

Kickstarter is likely the reason we even got the "IT'S COMING THIS WEEK!" deadline from Brianna. A deadline that, as I mentioned when she said it, was not even mentioned to her backers which should tell us all what we need to know about how uncomfortable Brianna really is with the current state of the game. I'm still wondering if the game even runs at all anymore after she added all those ridiculous lighting effects and God knows what else.

I wish we were aware of Wu back in 2013. I'd have gladly donated some money just to leave "updates" of my own to the backers - namely all the random Tweets of Wu sperging about video games rather than finishing the own that people have paid for.

She picked such a close deadline that I really thought for a moment she would deliver the game. I don't know why she keeps doing this to herself.

I'm wondering what's going on in John's head to ignore people like this. Even a small update will hold his backers over, but no, he's gotta be an asshole about it.

Mansplaining to women the decisions they should make and why is a blatant form of sexism. Wu does not need instructions on how to run her life.

Something had to happen with Rev60 that would make her bold enough to suggest such a tight deadline. My guess is that she somehow got it running on her computer again.

Arrogance. Brianna doesn't feel like she owes anyone an explanation for what's going on with the game. After all, you wouldn't ask Shigeru Miyamoto when the next Mario game is coming out (never mind that people do and Miyamoto usually has some kind of response).

Plus, what's she going to say to her backers? That she's still fucking about with lighting effects? Is she going to give, I think, the fourth failed deadline for herself on that page?

This made me realize something.
The game is so fucking seizure inducing that John had to add a drop shadow just to make it visible.

excuse: "I have a very important announcement to make about my penis."?
Translated:"PLEASE DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACT THAT I'M TRANS, WHILE I TALK OVER TRANS PEOPLE!"
Sadly, we know this is true, and not just due to Wu coming straight out and admitting it:

Lol, he ripped off the name "Tselynoyarask" from Metal Gear and couldn't even spell it right.
Shut the fuck up, BRIANNA WU. Stop CISplaining!
I guess SHE forgot what the T stands for.

Beating a dead horse here but a cartoon made in the early 90s still looks way better. And animated better too.
And that one actually came out when it said it would come out.
Mmm, dinnertime!

Just gonna sidestep that meteor comment and another deadline again, John?

I don't think he ever tweeted why he was going, just to bitch about the airline. Then there was this tweet a day later:

So he might have gone there and back again, or just made the whole thing up.
"I have to make my followers believe I am still relevant... Oh yes! I'll pretend to go to SF to do something important!"
Several hours later:
"Wait a minute... didn't I say I was busy working on something? Oh shit! ABORT! ABORT! Uh... I'll just say I came back, noone will question me, my skills at lying restructuring the truth are infallible!"

In the one cutscene where you see MainBimbo ride her bike with BrokenBimbo, you see the wheels spin without the motorcycle moving forward as you hear the sound of rubber-wheels on concrete. Also, you hear the sound of a combustion engine.
It was stupid when I assumed the abomination of a motorcycle was running on an electric engine, but this is ridiculously inconsistent.
I know, I know - it's Rev60, a game made by a tranny crazed on soylent, so I shouldn't have expected any kind of consistency in the first place, yet I am still flabberghasted at how unnecessary that bit of Fluff is and how much it clashes with the game.
I mean, why should I put any more thought into this game than BriBri, when the fucking Antagonist (and reason why anything in that game happens in the first place) wasn't part of the plot before someone suggested to add that AI-Bimbo to John.
I'm wondering what's going on in John's head to ignore people like this. Even a small update will hold his backers over, but no, he's gotta be an asshole about it.
She's just putting her head in the sand, hoping people will forget she ever announced her game.
Then again, I didn't really take it as some sort of deadline and more as a general statement akin to "Of course I'll join you on that trip next summer, unless I drop dead from work next week, that is".
She just announced that the game will come out (eventually... in the nondescript future) unless her office is hit by a meteorite this week.
I did a Wu and only skimmed the wikipedia article looking for what I wanted to see. Sorry.
I have trouble imagining her doing even that much.

I still suspect the main reason for the existence of Holiday's vroom vroom is that Brianna has one and completely identifies with Holiday and thus the latter must ride one too.

(And the main reason for the graviton wheel stuff is that spinning wheels would have been too bothersome to animate. It's not like there's a better visual solution to futuristic motorbikes.)
