Credit Cards can indeed dispute transactions within 60 days of opening a transaction, which could be an option (although Kickstarter doesn't look like a site where people should expect that sort of instant gratification)
Kickstarter FAQs
When I take a look at Terms of Use, Section 4, I find myself asking whether Wu's conduct really meets the standards outlined on the site:
"Throughout the process, creators owe their backers a
high standard of effort, honest communication, and a
dedication to bringing the project to life."
High Standard of Effort? Wu is clearly shilling / Cisplaining for Minorities she doesn't identify as / picking fights on Twitter. It's not entirely off topic, as Patreonbux is tangentially related to Rev 60. Wu PAID PEOPLE to make parts of Rev 60 already; now they're not around and its fairly obvious that the same effort isn't going into the game.
Honest Communication.
Generally this means having things like FINANCIAL DATA.
What budget does this take? What is the money being spent on to make this work?
Having a ROAD MAP towards completing a project.
Where is Rev 60 now? What does the next build incorporate? When is that projected out?
Actually having non-fake employees (Hi Natalie) at a non-fake office.
And even responding to requests about the game without having some kind of Gamergate related Seizure.
At two years overdue, I think this has gone to breach in contract. This is completely indefensible as presented, and I have to think that going to court and demanding some kind of remedy (Full Refund? Some kind of hard agreement on reporting on the status of the project in detail? ) could proceed. It is perhaps unfair to claim that Wu's planned release dates are outright lies on their own, but so many of them suggests some kind of failing.
Dedication.
Maybe.
Wu probably should give up on Rev 60 and admit that she lacks the qualities to get it done. Its a financial disaster, it is intrinsically sexist (why are all the characters spindly women shooting men? Why is this screwing with China?) and depending on the source, it is somewhere between "Inadequate" and "Delete this even though its free to try" in quality.
Wu hasn't done this. She's still after trying to make her SOCCON characters in any kind of media, a goal that she's had for a long time. It's going to suck and everyone but Wu knows it, but Wu can't quite pull the plug on it.

I think Wu could be sued over her actions with her Kickstarter. At a minimum, it seems like she has not lived up to her agreement with the site in honoring its conditions towards backers. Kickstarter doesn't do refunds, but heading to the courts with a dozen blown release dates and hard proof that Wu brushes off questions about her commitments as "Gamergate" is probably enough to force her to agree to some kind of demand.
The GethN7 style of putting Wu in a courtroom and therefore taking away all of her narrative tricks would be VERY INTERESTING to see applied, even if this is just a civil matter to make Wu honor her agreement. Forcing Wu to be transparent and have to admit that Natalie doesn't exist, GSK doesn't have an office and her finances are in WTF territory would be a large mountain of salt, and probably the end of most of her "Game Dev" credit online too.
Or maybe it doesn't happen; Wu doesn't show up, the court rules for the plaintiffs and demands that Wu return the Kickstarter Monies and shuts it down. That would be almost as good, and it would also end the sad farce that is Wu's claim of being a game developer.
