How long will Revolution 60 come to Steam?

The crazy part, and why I initially thought Wu was taking so long on Revolution 60, was that we basically covered in the Wiki the game's biggest issues. Schizophrenic tone and art design, a plot that can charitably be called a spirograph plot (in that it goes in circles without going anywhere for a while), terrible optimization that cripples almost every part of gameplay, horrendous dialogue and character designs that featured borderline-trademark-infringement (Holiday's outfit is a fucking dead ringer for Amanda Lawson's from Mass Effect). Whilst some of this is a bit too much for GSX, others aren't, and it wouldn't be hard to fix these:

Scizophrenic Tone/Art Design: Stick to a proper aesthetic. Ditch the kitschy bullshit with Minuete's Deely Bobbers and Crimson 09's motivations and focus instead on keeping the game's tone with a more cloak-and-dagger theme and focus more on the conflicting loyalties involved. A bit of model-work, some additional audio added, and you have a considerable improvement here. GSX already flushed $400,000 down the hole so a fraction of that to fix this is fine.

Plot: Streamline this shit. Cut out some of the random walking around and focus things down for efficiency. Come up with better clues as to Crimson's instability beyond writing on walls and memes. There isn't even any dead bodies in the hallways or logs indicating what happened with Crimson 09, which should have been no-brainers considering how many games Wu borrowed from making this.

Optimization: This is the problem with Revolution 60 and why the game is as bad as it is; everything in the game is so inefficient that GSX can barely use particle or trail effects because the memory's eaten by everything else. Simplify the models and use memory-saving tricks (hide polygons not on-screen, simplify models at long range, etc) to reduce the footprint the models and environments have in-game. This would fix so much of the game's performance woes.
I've been thinking that it most likely will be a gigantic, unoptimized piece of garbage with memory leaks galore. I wonder how he is going to hand wave it all away. Soggy knees/gamergate bugged his game, kiwifarms?

Literally ON THE PHONE WITH APPLE to figure out why the game I pulled from the store myself can't be downloaded!

Owning an iPhone and screaming mysoggyknee at a random person working in Apples customer support doesn't count as "on phone with apple".
The thought just occured to me, this will soothe her asskissing mooks on Twitter, but I doubt it will impress (say) professionals like people who run conventions and the likes. As long as the game remains unreleased, Wu can pretend to know what she's doing. The moment the game hits the market, everyone will see just how fucked it is and that Wu has absolutely no leg to stand on, when calling herself a "woman in tech".
So, basically, she'll manage to take the punch out of the onslaught of bad reviews by crying gamergate, but it'll not help her pretending to be a pro in the long run. Everybody worth his salt will know she's done for the moment her piece of shit game is released on steam.

Heh. When Wu refers to herself as a "woman in tech", maybe the logic behind that is "two wrongs make one right".

I'm impressed she could subdue her urge to use terms like "video conference", "meeting" and "cubicle".
It's not like Wu is getting invited as a speaker to conferences that are at thier core about tech issues, she is usually just invited to something-something women and something-something internet and social issues.

Now it's a surprise that people can't re-install it?

Kickstarter supporters waiting for some word:

Flynt logged in to Kickstarter yesterday and promptly ignored him.

And it figures that as soon as I stop checking the Startrek Timelines forums every day for any batshittery, she shows up and posts.

Scroll down.

I loaded up steam to see if she finally released it and what do you know she had

Ah, so two entire years adds motion blur and lens flare despite there being no movement nor incredibly bright light sources in the shot. I especially like the random out of place greebling that's clearly tacked on over the existing assets. Seriously what the fuck is that computer screen attached to?

I noticed The second shot seems to have some aspect ratio issues. it looks kinda like it's in that whole "forced widescreen thing" that Widescreen Televisions do with old box screen games/movies. I wonder what could have caused that?
