They also are owned by Wix.com, an literally Jewish website dev company that has AI tools and indeed does support Israel and likely the IDF (they even had a little special logo after the start of the Gaza War...which didn't last long as muslim countries threatened to ban them for not sucking sandnigger dick), so of course, they are right-wing ergo.

As much as I would want to, I'm not sure it's fair to hold that against bluesky.

This is the only thing close to a social media platform I've used lately that doesn't seem to be absolutely overrun with bots, probably due to toxic reputation and novel DDoS protection.

Reddit has been bad for like a decade, but now even HN seems completely overrun, and X seems to always struggle with keeping the crypto spammers at bay (it seems to come in waves, they disappear for a while and then come back en masse).

If you use the Discover feed and it thinks you want to see politics, it is almost completely overrun with bots spamming leftist propaganda nonstop. I must have blocked a thousand by now and that continues to be the only thing in my feed.

Of Bluesky's meager daily activity, the majority share of it is bots following random accounts and liking posts. The latter is understandable since the easiest thing to do on social media is clicking like. But following specifically should not really ever be a significant portion of the platform's activity. On average, someone may follow accounts a few times a week (if they even follow anyone that week at all), yet it accounts for a significant portion of the site's activity in spite of having a very small userbase. If you check one of the protocol's activity tracker sites, following is like, the only activity on the uptick, while everything else has been sliding down consistently which is really suspicious. The Discover feed specifically is almost entirely bot populated with many of those definitely-real-people apparently having clicked "follow" tens of thousands of times. That is incredibly suspect.

X has spam problems, but you were able to clock that it has a spam problem. Bluesky is almost entirely spam and bots to the point where you made a post thinking those were genuine posts because the spam is all you really ever see anyway. Nothing is really done because interacting with leftists is functionally the same as interacting with bots and because without them, it would reveal how dead and decayed the site really is.

I really do wonder how few people actually use Bluesky when you take the bots away.
