How do I fix this?

That worked. But now it crashes. Sigh.
Are you using the latest version of ShadPS4? Because I heard there was a separate branch being specifically developed for Bloodborne, handled by some other guy, but I'm fuzzy on the details.

I tried it again, beat the first boss, but certain sound effects were turned off which made detecting enemies even harder. Plus the 60 FPS was crapping out for me.

So I'm going to stop here until I upgrade my shit and hopefully the emulator matures because it's almost there. It's like a pussy hair or two away from being 100% fully playable without issue and without jumping through hoops downloading workarounds.

And it has to be noted that I'm weird and prefer playing Souls games on a mouse + keyboard. I just don't like using a controller unless I'm playing a 2D game or something like a space shooter or 3D platformer or a Devil May Cry.

So I gather from these last few posts @BrunoMattei that it's better to let it progress a couple of months more before giving it a go then?

Yeah, my rig is far from beastly, so I wait. Still looking forward to the progress on this.

Bumping the thread to promote a couple of mods
Launcher/mod manager (there's another mod enabler but I like this one better)
Bloodgem generator. Cheaty but fuck farming for these things.
If you're not doing the chalice dungeons, blood gems aren't that bad to grind. Just learn to parry the trio of winter lanterns in Mergo's loft and later the duo in the fishing hamlet. The gems they give is like a 19-22% damage boost; that's fine for just getting though the NG+ cycles. It's pure autism that leads to people wanting the 27% gems from the chalice dungeons.

As of v0.9.1 the diegolix29 build has fixed the vertex explosion issue.
It would be nice if they could try to find a way to fix the memory leakage issue at some point. It's pretty annoying having the game crash on you every hour or so.

I just beat the whole game with all optional bosses (minus the dlc) and it runs super well. Some (very few) areas have fps drops (especially the outdoors of mensis nightmare) but the whole game slows down when that happens so its more annoying than unplayable and in a 18 or so hour playthrough it only crashed like 4 times while erasing pretty much 0 progress due to the emulator making 2 double backups per minute.

The game is basically 99.9% playable on PC at this point and considering that PC also lets you play at 60fps and mod in stakes of marika and estus refills at bonfires its arguably the superior way to experience it too.

Its also super easy to install, literally barely an inconvinience, the people porting it have made it extremely easy to both install and mod with a single launcher that does everything including saving backups as well as a builtin modloader and manager.

What are the exact files I need to get? Searching the high seas gives some iso but also a bunch of different updates version.

What's your hardware?

I'd want to try it on my living room media PC but not sure if the ancient i7 4790 and RTX A2000 will be enough for stable gameplay.
Nvidia rtx 3060 ti and i5-11600 processor.

You need a .pkg for the base game and the 1.09 goty .pkg.

Installed it and it works, though a lot of stutters in the few minutes I messed around with it. Not sure if its the hardware or issues with shaders or something, I'll need to mess around with it some more when I have time.

Like you said though, set up was pretty easy, even on Linux.
