Compare and contrast to the good ending. "Golden age", "Plague cured", "Everyone happy", etc.

I don't know how you think that the high chaos ending is somehow better. From a writing standpoint the total chaos with emily is more intresting from a storytelling standpoint, but from a carot and stick standpoint? Lets not kid ourselves here.

Yeah, and you have every reason to, which means not a lot of people know that it exists. I didn't know until years later.
You get multiple ways to approach Emily, which is also one of the reasons why the game is great. You can choose to stealthily make your way under the skywalk. that seems to be there just so someone can run straight to his death, or take out Havelock from a distance and pick up Emily before she falls. They simply end up at the bottom if you overthink it.

The outcome is bleaker than the one where you went out of your way to be Jesus AntiChrist, but it's by no means the bad ending. Emily realizes she has to be like you to make sure nothing like the conspiracy or her mother happens again, and she is remembered as a harsh albeit necessary empress who did what had to be done in an unprecedented period of unrest.
Emily is still a minor for like another 8 years. You, the butcher, are responsible for her and the empire until then.

Didn't some of the other leads who worked on Infinite come out and say Levine was basically a shit boss and the reason the game was such a mess is because he'd routinely throw everything they spent months making out on a whim?
Atrocious leadership is a staple of modern triple A studios. Stupid people bought the shit out of Bioshock Infinite because it had "cool" visuals, and now Ken Levine still has a job. I seriously want Judas to fail, so we may see his career take the wrong turn it deserves.

What would the plot of a hypothetical Dishonored 3 even be? All the villains are dead, all plotlines concluded, and even The Outsider was killed by an obnoxious self insert nigger cripple lesbian girlboss.

You'd need either a complete retcon or a prequel set significantly in the past for it to make any sense.

Delilah is back again desu

The smart thing to do would be retconning the second game and its DLC, or a prequel if you don't want to alter the story for whatever reason. I would personally rip Billy Lurk out of the canon story and make the third game focused on Daud's life after the events of the first game.
Arkane's writers will no doubt do something really stupid. There will probably be a new evil Outsider that Emily will want to kill. Corvo will either not be involved like Sokolov in the last game or dead. Emily will have to team up with the old Outsider, Billy Lurk, and maybe Delilah or Daud to take on this new overpowered entity. I realize while writing this, the idea is so stupid they'll probably do it.

I remember around when the last thing came out people were theorizing Dishonored 3 could have you playing as the depowered Outsider reclaiming his powers and either righting wrongs along the way or slaughtering everyone but I highly doubt they would do that since it would mean making a game in CURRENT YEAR where you play as a white man again, and that is only allowed to happen if you are able to choose to play a woman instead (who is the canon protagonist)

That would suck because the Outsider is a very short not very intimidating man. That was his entire gimmick really. This strange guy with black eyes looking down on you while floating up in the air. The sequel ruined the mystique so badly that I simply treat the Outsider of the first game differently from the Outsider of the sequel.

Forget While male protagonists. Arkane hasn't been able to do any White protagonists since Dishonored 2. In Redfall, a game with 4 protagonists, we don't get a single one that's of Caucasian descent. They won't even do a mixed race character. But they're also too lazy to write foreign characters, so instead we get foreign characters that behave like White people.

I still laugh when I think of Dishonoured's lead (Warren Specter?) claiming he had zero interest in a sequel until the chance for representation with Ellie presented itself. Never mind the story is just recycled DLC shit that barely has a connection to her as a character.

They 100% will put The Last of Us part 2 (if they haven't already). Corvo will die by some precious victim family and Emily will avenge him only to learn to Le Cycle of Hatred is bad.

Deliah will escape a second time, only this time neither option for dealing with her will result in material backlash for her plotting.

Even the Sokolov paintings were downgraded in Dishonored 2. They're not awful (some are very lazy though), but they're nowhere near as fun as they used to be. It's just the characters standing behind a black backdrop.
Viktor Antonov also notably took a step back from designing the look of the game. In the first game it felt like every texture had his personal touch. In the second game everything looks like generic 3D models. I really don't blame him because the game stinks.

How does this contradict anything I said? The outsider literally tells you "gg you fucked everything good going retard".
People that argue high chaos isn't a bad ending make no sense to me and reek of cope. Like yeah you are not personally dead but the empire is fucked the tone is totally dark everyone is miserable the world is in an objectively worse state. You can prefer one over the other, sure, but you can't deny that this is a 'bad' ending for the world at large.

Dishonored was overhyped, not a bad game by any means but the hype went too far and up the devs' own asses, so no wonder the sequel sucked. Prey was better than I expected but still too repetitive, glad I got it for free else I would be pissed.

As for "dinga" here, can't find anything about previous experience that might justify his position so I'm going with nepotism+race baiting.

Oh he also directed young blood, the worst wolfenstein of all and I'm counting the Brazilian port to the Genesis here. Guess that on top of race baiting he's also a male feminist.
I personally think THIEF should have just been left alone, since you can’t really make a series like that in current day without someone attempting to change the story of what a thief is supposed to be.
Meaning? is THIEF "problematic" now or what?

You can't blame them for having good marketing. They made a mobile game similar to the old fruit ninja game except you killed rats instead of fruit. They even had an interactive flash site and made a relatively successful pop song for the game. I personally think that game was worth all that, but to each his own.

Games today can't help but hold the player's hand at every turn. Part of the fun in Thief was the mystery and having to figure out the levels by yourself definitely added to that.

Prey actually had less handholding than I expect and the success of indie games with high (for today's standards) difficulty shows there might be a market for that, as long as they don't blow thru an AAA-budget.

Dishonored 3 could be an alternative universe taking place after the total chaos ending with emily dead. Outsider mentions corvo left the continent on the ship after emily died, and said he's "looking for something".

Obviously that something was supposed to metaphorical like "searching for himself", but its a good jumping off point for a sequel with corvo, a stranger with superpowers in a new land where no one knows him and he has no notoriety, as a plus it undoes both of the shitass sequels in a natural way.

This is fun, so it's the last thing they'd do.

This is probably what they'll do.
