You may have seen the Blade trailer from The Gay Awards. I would like to offer my two cents on this.

It is set in France for some reason. I think there's going to be some liberal French propaganda in this game. There is a joke to be made about Arkane choosing to make a game with the blackest Marvel superhero, but I honestly don't have that big of a problem with that. These diverse writers have shown us that they do not want to write White characters. This is a good chance for them to write a character that they like.

They still fucking fail at it because modern Arkane SUCKS at making games. I'm interested in the response this game will receive. Will this be Arkane's third flop in a row?

I think this is yet another of Dinga Bakaba's vanity project. Deathloop was his attempt at playing with concepts from various fun Hollywood movies (he stole used ideas from 13 mainstream movies), and this will be his attempt at writing some brilliant French social commentary .

This game had no business being set in France whatsoever. Arkane had no business writing this hack in the first place. Arkane had no business making him the leader of their French division. This will be his second flop in a row.
 
If they wanted to make something set in France, there are locations in Dishonored that are meant to be The Isles' version of France. Set Dishonored 3 there, not that the towelhead would know anything about being French. Maybe I should be thankful they're not doing that after all.

Dishonored showed a lot of love to France. Dishonored 2 was a fucking insult to the entirety Eastern Europe with all those fucking black people. At least they got the music right though.

No, they're doing a French game with an African-American protagonist. So he's going to be like, "damn dese niggas iz cool, but dem wyte bois be really WACK," and then all the French cucks will clap and cry while a towel head rapes their sister.
 
A few updates came out. The game is due to come out in 2027 and it will be a Xbox Series X exclusive according to a leak... so it's going to come out in 3 years and only the few people that bought a Series X will be able to play it. How exciting!

I think it's because Dishonored 3 is also in development. I have a theory that they may crap out Dishonored 3 before Blade.
 
Dishonored (2) is probably one of the few woke properties I like. Fuck you guys, I like it okay. I enjoyed the game! It's also secretly based because it shows you that obnoxious tumblr girls are the worst thing for society!

Modern game engines are over engineered garbage. Can literally make magic with them but the engine developers will hide that info from third parties developing games using their engine and insist everyone reinvents the wheel. Case in point: unity and unreal.

Arkane has been using their own fork of id Tech 6 since Dishonored 2. They call it the VOID engine.
The Void Engine has powered Dishonored 2 and Deathloop, and is currently being used to develop Marvel's Blade.[30][31]

There is no excuse for Blade taking up half a decade of development time. The real issue here is that a big chunk of Arkane's developers left after Microsoft forced them to release Redfall.

If I were in charge of Microsoft's gaming division, then I'd just shut down talentless legacy studios like Obsidian and Arkane. Then I'd contract other studios to work on their popular IP's and reap the benefits from publishing those games.

Or they could at least do what Sony is doing with Bungie and promise employees extra money so they don't cash out. Microsoft's leadership is so fucking retarded that they think owning "studios" will lead to successful games. In reality all they own is a bunch of logos and they're giving paychecks to retards that had nothing to do with those logos.

I also liked Dishonored 2. The problem with it is the problem with all modern triple-A. The gameplay is in service a dogshit Tumblr troon story unfortunately.
 
Dishonored 2's "wokeness" isnt even consistent. After the totally manufacture controversy of ass creed unity every game went out of its way to let you pick your sex. But they also would often have a canon character defeating the point. Ass creed greek (odysee?) confirmed that the female character was the true one which begs the question, why include the other? Commander shepherd is obviously male and morgan yu is as well. We can assume these from marketing material but also lines of dialogue, I assume if morgan yu was female Alex wouldnt be breaking his younger sister's arm out of anger it just doesn't make sense.

For dishonored Emily shows up in the trailer and also immediately no guard would leave corvo alive in a locked room thinking thatll hold the most dangerous man in the world. It also doesn't make sense they'd keep him alive at all, unlike Emily he's not needed to take the throne.

However Emily's powers suck. Far reach is the only good one mixing in ideas from daud's tractor beam and also letting you sling shot yourself far distances. Doppleganger is another garbage rng ai power, shadow form locks out synergy with other powers and doesn't even work on higher difficulties where guards just see you, domino just clears rooms for free which is silly and mesmerize clears rooms for free.

Corvo's powers are just more interesting to use in creative ways and combo together well. Hell the more restricted powers and tools of daud and billie are better than emily's

Emily's power is based on her early childhood & being an empress.

Shit fucking sucks and i swear i never use Far Reach when i have Blink from NG+.

I'd redesign the power of Mesmerize to be Possession 2.0 where you can direct the enemies into opening up doors for you, attack someone or walk into the obvious trap you set.

The coolest powers are still Corvo's

Why don’t they just tell the forced diversity laws to piss off and lobby to have them repealed? That seems to be the real issue here that nothing short of a civil war will actually fix.

Because they support the forced diversity laws. To my knowledge America doesn't have laws like that, yet they still enforce DIE (diversity, inclusion, equality) shit like it's gospel.
