Well, if it's about KiwiFarms only, I should say one thing: it really depends on each person. I have a sincere sympathy for this forum and many of its users, but the website has also a lot of people with a lack of integrity and dignity (yeah, even by the web-forums standards). But I'm not here to complain, I still like the website. The thing is, I'm not visiting KiwiFarms for trolling some lol-cows, I visit it for more neutral topics (video games, music).
If it's about people in general, if we include each group of people, nation, country... for the most part, yes. We are not good people at all. Including me.

I find spending time on the farm to be very cathartic. I speak my peace, and move on. There are people who take shit too far in their posts but that's on them..Who am I to judge? Do I pile on fatties and spergs, yep..Does that make me a bad person? Probably, but I honestly don't give a fuck.

"There's an asshole or two in every crowd." my pops..

I see it as a "tough love" thing.

We laugh at people acting like tards. No more than that. The really deviant ones who deserve to be punished for something get doxed at best, the authorities called at worst. The ones just acting like tards might see a group of people pointing and laughing at their antics and decide they want to better their image and change. If that happens, we back off. If not, we continue to laugh at their stupidity. It hurts no one.

Some of us even try to help, like when Chris's house burned down, a bunch of kiwis sent him gift cards and food. Null even tried helping him plan for his future before he pissed that away. We're not bad people, just jerkasses.
Yeah, I've read that a good critique is one that's comprehensive and detailed. There's kiwis that explain why and how a lolcow is the way he/she/ximxam is and also offer ideas of solution on how to fix their shit. And whenever a cow does something good in their life (like Narcissa doing OoT again), they say "good for them".

Not offering negative comments or critique ruins individuals in the long run. I once asked on /pol/ years ago on what makes a behavior altruistic or cucked, and I got a good response along the lines of "understand the consequences of your actions, and not simply doing things that seem helpful because they'll make you feel good or make others momentarily happy. For example raising a child and never telling him "no" will turn him into a spoiled when he grows up".

Most lolcows are not happy people doing their happy thing and bothering no one. Most people featured with threads seem to be deeply unhappy people who are unable to see how their choices directly cause their own suffering.

There's a catharsis in being able to draw these connections, in pointing and saying "here's where you went wrong."

Most of my time in the farms is lurking in Internet Personalities and Community Watch, and a lot of the discourse is about the disconnect between what these people want to accomplish and how they think they can achieve it.

There was a time that a cow-adjacent individual popped up in a thread where he was being thoroughly roasted for drunkenly beating his girlfriend. He was saying he had 9 months sober and wanted to turn thimgs around. The overwhelming advice? Get off the internet and live a decent life.

Different cows attract different audiences, and some are more vicious than others, but I think quite a few threads would break kayfabe if their cow showed up and asked for advice. A lot of lolcows watching isn't just laughing at spergs, it's getting some sort of animation from the frustration of watching someone do the exact wrong thing in a situation over and over.

And by watching people who refuse to learn from their mistakes repeat them over and over, I think there's some hope for us that we'll be more aware of not doing the same.

I'll stop short of further powerlevelling, but I think this is an interesting topic, and not one that I think has a simple answer. Probably worth each kiwi spending some time considering what they get out participating here, and then making peace with whatever that is.

There's no such thing as a good person and religious codes of conduct are for people too weak minded to make their own judgement on what's right and wrong

I am completely guilt free about visiting the farms and laughing at lolcows for a couple of reasons.

First, most lolcows are just bad people. Time after time we see lolcows that do not hesitate to screw over someone for personal gain that has not wronged them at all; I'd say that it is actually the vast majority of them. The remainder are people that are not really malicious, but have severe cognitive deficiencies that cause erratic behavior. I'd say that the hands off approach to the Farms handles that pretty well.

Secondly, if someone disagrees with some sort of racist, sexist, or homophobic post, they are fully capable of using the freedom of speech this place emphasizes to offer a rebuttal. In my experience, most of the people here just drop slurs for shits and giggles. A person referring to a lolcow by the n-word is probably not going about their day-to-day life thinking of black people as inferior. And even if they do, who cares? Ignore that person or rate the post as dumb.

Imagine actually believing that you have free speech on the Kiwifarms. It's almost as exceptional as believing you have freedom in Amerikkka.

As a society, I believe we have a right to critisize people's behavior who participate IN it. What they do privetly is their buisness but when people start to sperg out and post everything about their daily lives all over social media platforms, I think it's fair that we get to judge their actions and behaviors for all that they are worth.

I’ve pondered this before, but what I try to take away from it is self reflection. At my core, I’m not much different from the lolcows discussed besides the actions I take. When I see a lolcow I enjoy critiquing, I try to notice what I’m doing in my life too. I’m definitely not perfect, but I’m trying to rise above what I see so many of the lolcows here succumb to. One thing I’m trying to do is treat those that I love better and resist urges to say things in anger. I notice many lolcows tend to treat those closest to them like garbage. It’s not merely to feel better about myself, but to help those around me. If it’s anything I’ve learned from watching the cows, it’s that the actions you choose affect more than just yourself. Self reflection goes a long way, and the Farms has taught me about my own faults. I won’t say I’m a good person though, I still love laughing at what lolcows do way too much.

I don't think I am evil for doing what I do. I have virtues as I do have vices. I do a lot of good but there's also a "evil" side to me, as do all people.
I guess it comes down to the belief that Caine and Abel are always inside a single person. You will rarely find someone akin to a saint that is purely good. What makes a difference is how much you let Caine or Abel rule of you. I like to believe that while I am mostly good, there's still Caine dancing in a corner and pointing and laughing at E-Weirdos.

So, is what we do morally questionable? Yes, of course. But it doesn't make us automatically villains or evil.

This is pretty spot on. Lolcows are often guilty of the same character flaws as everyone else, but take it to the extreme.

-is what we do wrong?
no. Not in my personal opinion.

speaking on your religious contemplations we are what you might call the archetype of the Jesters. We are upholders of the Infinite "lol" comedy isn't always pretty and it doesn't always "punch up" , comedy can punch anywhere at anytime.

I'll address more of your moral contemplations below.
-if so is this an act of evil or meerly a vice?
It isn't wrong.
-if you're a theist what do you think god makes of you shitting on the weak?
This is quite a loaded question. Yes I am a theist and no I don't think God or myself consider these people "weak" I am a firm believer in Karma and so everyone gets their justice regardless whether it is in this life or the next.

My war isn't on "weak" people, my war of mockery and silliness is being waged on people's bloated sense of self importance.

This is the tricksters bedrock, the end of the line of autism.

We all float down here.

That being said being a "fringe" or "edgy" forum we attract all types of mutants freaks and weirdos. But that is just the thing with the farms. It is like an odd distorted mirror of mockery whatever you wish to see you will see if you are a spiteful hateful person and want to impose nationalist socialism and kill all j3ws without irony, sure you'll find some other fringe faggots like yourself and if you openly try to spout your retarded idealistic vision you will be mocked without question (as I am sure I will be very shortly)

We have all types of weirdos here there is not one single "type"

So the people that assume everyone here is just like them is a tard.

-do you have a personal philosophy which allows for this? (nietzsche perhaps?)
Yes.

But Nietzsche was a faggot Kraut with syphilis

My best bud, whomst I assure you is probably the number 1 source of knowledge in the world, has ascribed my morality as “True Neutral” so therefore I have improved since my first post in the thread.

I’ve encountered some genuinely terrible people online years before joining this site, a few of them have threads here. People like to label this site as some kind of den of evil, but will turn a blind eye to the fuckery that runs rampant on sites like twitter. That’s why I love threads like kiwifarms reviews, because so many of those people like to act like they’re somehow morally above us when in reality they’re far from it. Furries, troons, groomers and sex pests, all of them want to act like they’re so much better when they have no leg to stand on.

If you wonder about whether you’re a bad person, then you can’t be that bad of a person. Genuinely bad people don’t even consider how their actions could affect others.

I’m on this site to make fun of others. Laughing at cows makes me feel better about myself. I also just enjoy drama. I don’t think laughing at people on the internet makes me a bad person, when these people put their lives on the internet for everyone to see.
