Step out of line on the farms and you'll just get mocked and banned.

Step out of line on Twitter and you might incite a mob that'll hunt down where you work and do everything in their power to ruin your life.

🤔

I feel like it's a mixed bag when it comes to Kiwi. I feel like the majority of us have good intentions when we "troll" cows. I feel like the majority of us just want these people, who do really really stupid crap, to see what they're doing, realize why it's wrong, and fix themselves to be a better person.

Granted, some Kiwi's are here just to call people faggots, but I think the main goal here is to make the cow change for the greater good.

We don't meaningfully tell people to neck themselves, we tell people to stop sperging when they do it, we point out the faults and why they're faults, yadda yadda yadda.

Like I said. Mixed bag.

I think most of you guys are just cunts with an inferiority complex who use this website to feel like you're better than somebody for once in your lives, tbh.

No one is forced to read this, so us shitting on spergs harms no one. As long as people keep it on the farms, all is well.

It might not be the nicest thing to do, but atleast we ate not on twitter demanding people to be fired when they say/do stupid shit, we just laugh at them.

I'd have to say we are awful.

Eh, for the most part, the community here seems to have a pretty good moral compass.
There are hardly any "cows" that I'd feel bad for. The people we mock here usually have done something that warrants mockery.

Off the top of my head, I can only think of two people one might define as SadCows: Terry Davis and that one girl who suffered from extreme anorexia.
And those two were treated accordingly, in a much more sympathetic manner.

You quoted me without the qualifier. This thread was dead.
*Edit- We are no more terrible than the old ladies who buy The Sun and The National Inquisitor to laugh about Hollywoob society.

90% of comments made by random strangers are not very personal; if you want to tell when a reaction is personal, its more obvious in which the person will go out of their way to sperg for more than 1 time. Its not a Kiwi farms or 'evil dark webs' exclusive thing, every website does it. Real life is kinda like that too of some jerk giving you an off-hand comment about what you're wearing etc. Some comments seem extremely judgmental and horrible, but those comments tend to be exaggerated and the person behind the keyboard does not (honest-to-God) feel that way.

Cyberbullying is a meme, especially to those who've actually experienced being bullied at one point in school. When someone calls you a fag on the internet, you can block them; but if there's a bully in your school who's picking on you and rallying kids to dog pile with him, you can't really escape from the bully as easily as the internet. If you tell on the teacher, your school reputation is 'ruined' because the kids will call you weak, and transferring to another school is costly.

I don't know if normals know about this whole thing, but I won't judge them since I've never been social but I'm slowly trying to- not jump into love relationships, I think way too many people try to do this and its more than they can chew. just a genuine friend I can trust, and can get back with again and again when one of us gets irrationally grumpy occasionally.

I'd say that what the farms do is morally wrong, but the farms does it to people who also do morally wrong things. I guess following that line of thinking, this argument is similar to how morally right the prison system is.

I'm probably too nice to most people. Though now that I think about it, considering what the farms does I really think it's pretty mundane compared to the lot of horrible things I see people do in public every day. In my opinion the world needs more Kiwis. It needs more bullies. Real bullies.
I was making a joke about this https://kiwifarms.net/threads/nice-guys.12844/, i don't really think farms is bad at all really, naughty words are not what i would consider something horrific.

From the outside we're monsters and any other thing the media/twitter want to throw at us for the sake of deflection and scapegoating whenever we sit around mocking and gossiping about peoples behaviour.

But objectively good or bad? Neither. We're on par with anyone with an interest in TMZ or any weekly tabloid.

I see it as a "tough love" thing.

We laugh at people acting like tards. No more than that. The really deviant ones who deserve to be punished for something get doxed at best, the authorities called at worst. The ones just acting like tards might see a group of people pointing and laughing at their antics and decide they want to better their image and change. If that happens, we back off. If not, we continue to laugh at their stupidity. It hurts no one.

Some of us even try to help, like when Chris's house burned down, a bunch of kiwis sent him gift cards and food. Null even tried helping him plan for his future before he pissed that away. We're not bad people, just jerkasses.

Better title would be "are we also the lolcows?" Those who laugh at the behavior of others are usually unaware of their own antics. For example, people here mock others in an attempt to get them to change their behavior; though to what? If a person isn't acting harmful then their behavior is abnormal instead, so mocking them is projection akin to laughing at a sideshow. Lack of self-awareness and inability to accept critique is a major factor; something both the lowcows and posters share sometimes.

or you can just say it's autists laughing at autists and call it a day.
