Here's my 2 cents. Judgement's purpose, is based in the christian sentiment of trying to preach and teach the word of God to others. So...there isn't a good reason for putting judgement on randos on the internet which don't reach this goal. Nevertheless....

Christians aim to judge people fairly. The bible describes the dangerous pitfall of being hypocritical when self righteous. It's easy to judge other people, but you don't hold yourself to the same standard. When you are self aware, it makes it easier to exercise judgement with compassion and humility on others, hence your judgement will be more fair

At the same time, it warns people to not give your judgement to people who don't appreciate it. Don't waste your breath on dogs and pigs :).

You know I just want to say all of you have a gift you can give to the world, no matter how useless you might fail. The difficulty is figuring out what it is.
Screw the world, I'm not giving it shit.

Yes, I am a bad person.

My take is this: trolling, especially on places like KF and 4chan, is a spiritual cleansing outlet akin to the sort of macabre rituals of old where you vent all of your sins and darkness once a year to purge yourself of them so you can function in society.

I would also factor in that we (Gen X-Z, Millennials) are also a unique beast in history in that we are the first generations that grew up with the internet and anonymity online to be huge fucking shitlords to strangers while hiding behind our keyboards a thousand miles away. With the added "bonus" that we are enduring a society at it's most permissive, where we might as well be in Sodom and Gomorrah given the amount of filth being tolerated and treated as something to emulate and applaud.

There is also the fact that we live in a society that rapidly is becoming closed off to the poor and where each subsequent generation from X onward is ending up worse off than before while dealing with the Boomers clinging to dear life over their cultural hegemony with the implicit MAD aspect to their nihilism where the Boomers will gladly take down EVERYONE with them when their day of judgement comes because they LITERALLY can't bear to think of a world NOT run by Boomers. Resulting in a nihilism that exists amongst the old where it's perfectly OK in their eyes to make sure the world does not survive their passing.

The manchild concept that comes from knowing that you have no real incentive to grow up and that all of the grown up milestones are shit that you'll never get to achieve because the game is rigged against you, creates an arrested development syndrome that mixes in with the central feature of troll culture: being a shitlord online to strangers without mercy and pity as one of the few ways to healthily vent your rage and hatred for society that has betrayed you, while also allowing you to recapture the brief moments of joy and nostalgia for being a teenager when you could be a cunt without much consequences.

It's probably why the Trollhunters season of South Park hit me hard somewhat, because I could relate to the obscene way Gerald was able to be a happy well adjusted member of society in an age where everyone is one bad day away from murder/suicide, by being a cunt online to strangers.

God knows I have had days where the only thing standing between me and having a proverbial white guy having a n-word type moment in public was being able to vent my anger and rage online on some sperg like Moviebob who was asking for it, when I got home from work.

Trolling online for all intents and purposes, lets me me a better more productive, less spergy and happier person in real life. Is it moral and ethical? No, but in our mad world in which we live in, it's a far safer option to blow off steam this way than to repress it and snap and sperg out in public or around coworkers or strangers. And given the helltopia we live in, being able to call someone like Moviebob a faggot online is still less evil than the shit that the elite and their craven courtesan class engage in all the time, especially since their honestly believe they can be cunts to us normies without any consequences and that the rules don't apply to them. So why should it apply to me if Christie Teigan or her ilk can get away with virtual bullying?

No really it's good advice!

Anyway, you know how people are fond of saying "your emotions are VALID!" to people who are clinically depressed? It's not true, they're objectively not valid and are objectively fucking stupid. They are meaningless bubbles that just so happened to have rose to the surface of the constant stream of random horseshit in your mind. I try to remember that. I'm done with pretending I know everything or like I'm ever going to be some pinnacle of reason and common sense. I'm a fuck up, like everybody. And you know the weirdest thing? Saying that feels nice. Because now I'm not pretending anymore. And now I can stop judging people (my favorite hobby), cut myself some slack, and just go for a walk and smoke cigarettes and make awkward small talk with the spanish guy selling me Gatorade or whatever the fuck, and come home, cook dinner, watch TV, and remember I was never supposed to be any more important than that. And that's fine.

There's enough idiots in the world mad that it isn't the way they want it to be.
Sounds pretty defeatist and apathetic. While other people may be stuck in their variation of the opiate of the people, whether that be fucking anyone who gives them some affirmation, shopping to fill out their void, being bitter and cynical to deflect failure or literally smoking opium, you, you are like dead compared to these people.

At least they affirm their existence through pain. You simply live. They are, perhaps forever, disgruntled and disfigured, you are a mere shadow. Within them there is still hope, however twisted. Within you is pale acceptance. Heck, it may even be a happy, facetiously enjoyable acceptance. But it is still an acceptance that you go here but no longer.

Life is about challenging yourself, constantly overcoming difficulties. Striving for something. Someone that just lets their days go by without even a hint of struggle or dismay is someone who has given up on life itself. It's worse than suicide.

Life is actually about nothing, thats what youre missing. Nothing wrong with a simple life.

I don't really know what life is about. But truly living it means going through all its emotions and states.
A "simple life" is something that varies from person to person but tend to involve doing whatever it is you want with minimum societal interference and in the companing of your loved ones.

Also defining the issue of what life is about is a two sided coin because another man's heaven is another man's hell. You can have the view that the meaning of life is life affirming claptrap that makes you feel good, or you can take the opposite approach and define life as a hell that is to be endured if not survived and whichever one you chose depends on how you feel about life at any given moment.

Bill Hicks' "It's just a ride" sometimes fits my opinion on the matter but other days, Chris Rock's bit about a man who every morning tells himself "fuck your hopes, fuck your dreams, fuck everything you thought you'd be in life and now let's go out and make X happy!" just to get through the day seems to be my mantra. But it tends to go with the flow. When life is good, it's great. When life is boring and meaningless, it's a ride. And when life sucks donkey balls, life sucks donkey balls.

a simple life is not an easy, boring life where you do your basic job, watch TV and talk to the store clerk. A simple life, in historical terminology often meant a hard but fulfilling life.

Also, Bill hicks was not a happy camper. You bring up Comedic punchilines said during TV specials or at comedic clubs to a bunch of folks having a party as some sort of life advice without context. You don't think these people had to fight hard to be happy? To get to perform comedy at that level? You don't think that was part of what they wanted to do in life? Man, fucking wake up.

There is a Pentecostal hypochondriac that literally adores complaining about anything resembling Gore/Dragons/Metal Music. She deems those as the devil.
Unfortunately, she is completely ignorant of the fact that one of the frontsmen of Metallica had Christian parents. She allws her grandchildren to drink and do drugs and will put peoples words in others' mouths to get her way.
She is also a manipulative liar despite her declining mental health. In fact, if any Mexican Pentecostal (She is Dominican) toddler as so much as dropped a scrap of paper on the carpet, she would yell at me to pick it up as if I was her servant. In addition to her self-righteous attitude she literally trashed talked a poor Mexican waitress at a local restaurant.
The final nail in her ''"Devout Christian"" mask is that when we were going to a Southern Baptist Church, she raged at the time 9 years ago. To put this in context: :powerlevel: my entire family is made up of different denominations, including Devout/Casual Catholics/Jehova's Witnesses (No, he does not go to people's doors like the USA consistiently):powerlevel:

-if you're a theist what do you think god makes of you shitting on the weak?
I truly believe in the age old adage of "Do Unto Others as Others Do To You" online and offline and Karma, to put it mildly. If someone, for example, once bullied me and if I stumble upon them years later and we laugh and joke, then I forgive them. Ex: One guy literally posted on Facebook to vote for me for Prom Queen. We were both popular, but he was at the Guitar Club in Middle School. :)
This makes me wish this board had access to the "dumb" rating even more.

Wanna know how dumber she is? Despite uprooting malanga, a white root similar to Yuuca, she and her granddaughter have seperately asked me if it was cheese, while I had fried cheese and caramelized onions. They literally assumed it was mozzarella or cotijo despite the different textures.
Oh, and don't mention "genetics" to her, she'll tilt her head in confusion and ask the term. also she and her brother have lived in the US for 50 years, yet both cannot understand English save for "anyways," in her case and in his case, not understanding conversational American English in the Southern Accent. He'll stare at the other Dominican as if silently saying "WTF is he talking about?! Translate for me plz."

Depends on your concept of evil. My concept of evil is harming others, you can have whatever beliefs you have, as long as they are stuck in your head and not hurting anyone else, I won't consider you to be evil. A good example is a virulently racist Hermit - as long as they stay in their cave in bumfuck nowhere in the middle of the woods and don't interact with anyone else, I would say they aren't evil. Nasty? For sure, but if they aren't hurting anyone it's fine. The second the Hermit gets out of their cave and decides to abuse random people, you can call them evil!

I must admit, it's a bit of a contextual conception and one that relies on self-control, but it's logically sound. That being said, I wouldn't call most of us evil. While some cows get vicious hate, plenty of it being justified considering we are talking about abusive, predatory assholes with a trail of victims, some are just laughed at and/or are even beloved, like Terry, Ulillilia and others!

There is a clear rule about not interfering with cows. This is an important factor to be considered, as long as we are following this rule, I would call the site pretty neutral or even good, considering some of the more vicious cows. That being said I do feel sorry for some of the cows, the less malicious ones like that belgian girl that traces art. That's pretty much her only sin and she looks more like a troubled person than an asshole to me!

I'm jaded and bitter. But I don't think I'm a bad person. I'm even kind to ants. But I've been put off people because of bad experiences. I devoted too much of my life to helping people who refused to help themselves. So I just don't have any mercy left for addicts, thieves and losers who refuse to help themselves get better.

>I was considering the idea absurdity of a devoit Christian being present on the farms

Bonjour. There are many of us.
