Yeah, I doubt they'll kill Rem immediately after putting her in a coma, but a lot of the characters are expendable to some extent.I doubt it. There isn't anyone he can throw away at this point storywise, even if he grows willing to let minor characters he knows the names of die for realzies he still has Emilia and Rem in two different locations. Since he's got to save them both from a character perspective he's going to have to solve both problems mostly bloodlessly.
I still remember watching Shaman King back on 4kids, had a great opening where they had Yoh's VA join in on singing.https://youtube.com/watch?v=cp6stP2xLdkTeaser for the Shaman King remake is out.
Man, I remember reading that a long time ago and it was very weird. Don't know why I ended up reading it.I like 90s shit, and I like being able to find obscure gems, and I always appreciate it if my friends can find me something good (whether it be a song, movie, manga, etc). This fucking manga series ain't it chief. It happened last night at 2 AM. One of my good friends irl links me to this manga called "Animal X". It came out in 1990, and it's a yaoi mpreg gender bend cluster fuck with dinosaur/human things. I skimmed it, and proceeded to ask my friend why she sent me this garbage, and she said she wanted to troll me. I'm scarred.

Chip & Ironicus also did a riff on it:I seem to recall Spoony reviewing it with another guy. Can’t remember who.
There is no bullying in that show, and the only people who would think there is are the sort of people offended by Uzaki-chan having big tits.
I don't understand who this is aimed at. Maybe SJWs trying to trigger the chuds, own the chuds who watched it to trigger the libs, own the libs?
If that means Funi's going to try to censor the tits to appease the SJWs, then the ensuing shitstorm from both side of the coin, as well as the original production team, will be amazing.
Though that begs the question, why the flying fuck did they even license it to begin with? Were they forced to?
I come to you with some strange Animes i found on youtube(Its for some reason the best quality i could find on the web...)
has anybody a cleaner version of

It's surprisingly expensive to make a well-produced anime episode, you're looking at $100,000 for a high-quality 25-minute ONA episode if it's all hand-drawn. It gets a lot cheaper with 3D stuff like Ajin or RWBY, but the art style generally isn't liked as much as traditional hand-drawn stuff.I'm honestly surprised more independent creators don't try to do an equivalent for ONA's now in the days of wokeness. I get why Japan doesn't have their own ONA Boom because of market dynamics being totally and completely different, but you'd think there'd be some pissed-off Gen X'ers or non-woke Early Millennials who'd crowdfund an edgy ONA that's done as a throwback to the edgy "tits and gore" anime classics of the 80's and 90's?
I really wish there were more cases like Made in Abyss, where a rich motherfucker just sponsors an entire season of a property he likes. It's surprisingly expensive to make a well-produced anime episode, you're looking at $100,000 for a high-quality 25-minute ONA episode if it's all hand-drawn. Edit: There is a relevant CrackerMilk video for everything.

Even then you'd think some rights holder or personality (like some old VA) would crowdfund something related to an old anime or manga, be it a sequel or a remake or a spiritual successor or something. It's surprisingly expensive to make a well-produced anime episode, you're looking at $100,000 for a high-quality 25-minute ONA episode if it's all hand-drawn. Deca-Dence joins my list of "I wish they'd made this two season anime". There is a lot of interesting world building and character interaction that could have happened with more episodes.

I'm completely blackpilled on crowdfunding. The idea only works on theory, in reality there is the feature creep and trying to cater to every single backer and therefore satisfying no one. And that's before people from outside the hobby squeeze themselves in and start inserting their view on how it really should be and how everyone who disagrees is a fake fan.Crowdfunding is the best way to do it. Both with ONAs, Dubs, and translate material. Don't say there isn't interest. Get someone passionate about it and set a profit mark. If it makes it then you make money. Win, win.

So there was Under the Dog, an OVA Kickstarter that promised some big names to be involved that got a lot of hype because it would be a callback to those good ol' days and it met the goal to come to fruition--but then there was a change in staff (some of the new staff were still big names in their own right). When it came out a couple years later, those same backers were disappointed by the end product, if not out-right hated it. No more word has been made on if other episodes or a TV series will come to pass. I assume it just bombed and the creators have moved on elsewhere.
So it doesn't matter if the creators get the money and talent needed to make a vision of theirs come true. We're at a point where everyone's a critic and it has to be absolutely perfect and makes sense in a 25/30-minute runtime or it's trash. The '80s and '90s OVA boom where anyone and everyone made whatever the hell they wanted, coherency be damned, and show off just how weird Japan really is is not coming back in this cynical "ackshually" day-in-age.
"the new beginning" sounds like they're trying to do an anime the right way this time. But after a well directed but low budget and impossible to continue anime, a series of movies that cuts out so much you had to have read the manga anyways, and an utter meme of a cgi anime, I'm not holding my breath for a "real" Berserk adaption.
That music is really pretty, and I love relaxing music like this. Yeah, at least the baby in Animal X is cute. I had to read the TV Tropes page because I was so bamboozled. Reading about how MC's first child was killed really screwed with me. All of the rape and sexual assault was awful to, it's just what was done to that kid is so fucked.I still remember watching Shaman King back on 4kids, had a great opening where they had Yoh's VA join in on singing.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=8qLl145FqQgHearing the trailer for the new series, Yoh sounds weird to me since I pictured him with a deeper voice.

Not really anime/manga related (I think) but if you're looking for more obscure 90s music, specifically Japanese ambient, the youtube channel should be asleep rips full albums of hard to find stuff. There's a lot of stuff there, but I recommend starting with one of Takashi Kokubo's albums, his stuff reminds me of old school rpg game music.
