So, a cute/funny series - The Last Boss, The Church in Front of the Demon King’s Door.

Reminds me a lot of Goblin Is Very Strong and It’s Time For Interrogation, Princess. Maybe a little bit of Maou no Yuusha. It’s a fantasy comedy, where the hero is actually super weak and the demon king winds up helping them out of guilt/frustration. only in this one, the main character is the priest at the church right in front of the Demon King’s castle.

Lots of poking fun at Dragon Quest, as you might expect.

the part that pissed me off the most about Naruto was he and Sasuke being recantation of two demi-gods. the story of a young boy trying to win the approval of his village through hard work is actually talented, born from a privilege's family, son of a village chief AND A RECARNATION OF A DEMI-GOD!? GEEZ, THE WORLD SHOULD BEND ITS KNEE AND SUCK HIS COCK AT THIS POINT!

shippuden quickly lost the edge the original series had and the steaks have never been lower. i blame it on Kishimoto having a child during the series run and in turn, made him soft and lose his edge. half of shippuden feels like it was a love latter to his child with naruto meeting his mom that so happen lived inside him the entire time. same with Gaara meeting his dad.
That's was definitely a turning point when it stopped being about actual characters or story and just about bad ass "characters" having cool laser fights and shit.

Not my cup of tea. It just feels too sugar sweet after a while. It isn't a bad read, though.

Kouya ni Kemono is such a fucking disappointment. It just feels like random bullshit happens and the interesting characters get killed to make room of the worst characters. It feels like the author couldn't figure what he wanted to do and just copied better shit. I hate tribal magic bullshit and the series pulls that out of it's ass to justify killing good characters.

To add to the Naruto thing. It was an okay shonen, the Lee thing always rubs me the wrong because Lee is a fucking idiot despite his good qualities. He's insecure and dumb. He decides to flex on rookies to reaffirm his status, he literally cripples himself in an exhibition match for the sake of childish pride, and is by all accounts of the series a genius in his own right. The entire Neji-Naruto thing is something that the series fumbles, but I wouldn't give Plague of Gripes more than a thought, he's a furry and, allah forgive me for uttering this, a DBZ Tienfag. Naruto's role is basically a human-bomb, he's literally a nuke. He is to the village what Neji is to his clan, he is disposable despite his status as son of the ninja president. The Buddha bullshit at the end sucked, but I liked Madara literally everything out of spite. He's a seething faggot who's angry that his man-crush moved on.
Honestly, I wish Sasuke got to talk to his parents during the War Arc. He was already going insane, having his dead parents pushing him over the edge would of been great

It doesn't help that Naruto even looks like an ignorant retard whenever someone dumps info on his ass and he's like 😗 "lol wut"

Naruto's ignorance is fine for when he's a retarded kid being trained by the most broken guy in the village. He's dealt a worse hand then Neji who has a huge fucking chip on his shoulder despite still getting perks from his family. Naruto didn't get the brain hurting seal, but he did get the 'grow up alone and unloved' seal.

Hot take on the series, Shikamaru is annoying. He gets beaten by basic geometry and his arc in shippuden felt like he should've only partially succeeded, should've lost someone else when going off half-cocked on revenge. Probably the fattie.

I know. But, when he's already a fucking teenager and had to have been taught a decent amount of shit, he shouldn't act like, "Wow, neat. That's a thing?" At least when it's a character like Luffy, it's charming. When it's some motherfucking dipshit who's literally the most privileged kid in hindsight descended from their world's family of demigods, that's when you start to wonder if Kishimoto is just trying to make his story "cool" and "feels" for the sake of it. It's just cringe and annoying. He only does it because the main character also happens to be the surrogate for the reader/audience. That's already bad writing in comparison to Harry Potter, because he at least had the excuse of being a kid.

Also, yeah. Apparently, revenge is only okay when the character who does it is who you personally like. "Oh so cool!" That's not a hot take. That's what a decent chunk of the fandom sperged over because one of the lessons the series is allegedly trying to convey is "revenge is bad".

Nah, I mean I hated Shikamaru's whole smartest guy in the room when all of his observations felt very casual. He has a cool power, but honestly I liked the Sage Mode fights the most. Naruto wasn't a retard in those moments.

If only it stayed that way. Kyuubi becoming bffs with Naruto is when it really dropped for me. There's no room for "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" in that.
How's the Saihate no Paladin manga?
I personally like it. The anime really twinkified the manga designs compared to the manga, which is funny since its drawn by a fujo.

Don't let the isekai tag scare you off, other than dropping it in the beginning its more or less a straight fantasy, and an alright one at that.

I wish they had Naruto lose control in a fight and brutally kill someone because they set him off, they kinda had that in Shippuden. Actually strain friendships and shit, I'm fine with him coming to terms with the Kyuubi. Have the friends he made during the Chunin exams spilt with some people not having trust in him.

I actually liked how Itachi was a stereotypical glowie who kept fucking up.

Since everyone is talking about Naruto, I didnt watch the anime but I finished all 72 volumes in high school. In conclusion, I can say the series has high and lows. Highs being the akatsuki and lows being Naruto taking down Kakuzu at age 15 even though he fought the 1st hokage. (Hashirama was as strong as Madara). I wont say its bad, I liked the series and love the Akatsuki. But its ending was total ass. They totally Harry Pottter it! Just so they could make a shitty sequel like Boruto. (hes gay)

Also, whats with the naruto movies? They make no sense and have nothing to do with the plot.
Is the fate anime series worth getting into? I noticed its really popular on myanimelist (or some of them at least) but I'm too autistic to figure out the watch order
For me, I watched Fate/Zero first, then Unlimited Blade works. Then apocrypha and then finally last encore. Even those last two have nothing to do with the first two I mentioned. If you ask the community, they will tell you to start with the 2006 fate movie.

He really did. What exactly was he expecting?
That Sasuke would appreciate his efforts to keep him safe even though Itachi's actions murdered the the old Sasuke. I actually like the idea that the Uchiha were basically trying to do a really quick coup, but literally got played by a simp, a cripple, and an old faggot who failed at everything. Sasuke in general gets mindraped so many times, Naruto is annoying, but he's the only person who wanted to understand him. Itachi's entire relationship with him is abusive, Kakashi keeps self-inserting, and Sakura is the most realistic portrayal of a woman in all of fiction.

Why the sequel series didn't cover whatever the Samurai in the North did, I will never know.

They are literally all the same "plot". I kid you not. Every single one feels like you're watching the same ass movie. :stress:

And, every fucking time, Naruto uses some unique variation (read; non-canon) of Rasengan like he was a clown doing party tricks.

You also have to wonder to yourselves just how much of a retarded plan was the "Infinite Tsukuyomi" in the first place when something like Izanagi exists.

Like, what? What does an illusion have against being able to rewrite reality? I genuinely question the logic behind that when you have the most broken ass jutsu being able to minecraft the world into anything you want, and living in an ideal dreamworld is your big plan?

At that point, you have to start questioning why. Why an illusion? Why not just remake the world into a utopia? Into anything your heart so desires? That's league's above something that isn't tangibly real.

Did Madara nor Obito for that matter ever question it? Obito most of all since he was indoctrinated into the plan. With a powered up Izanagi, he could have undone all the needless and tragic deaths, have there be world peace, or better yet, robbing the populace of their free will in order to enact Kaguya's plan in the first place by having super soldiers at her beck and call to battle against her clan. What the hell was she gonna do with a Zetsu army? Throw them? Catapult them until something sticks?

No, no, no! That was stupid. The entire plan was stupid from the start. Holy shit! I feel like writing fanfiction, for God's sakes.

Seems like the anime is using the light novel designs, like how the spider isekai did it too.
