So what is the order to watch Fate? Just reading all that shit gave me a headache and I'm not up for playing a 50 hour VN

EDIT:
Fuck it, I'm just going with Stay/Night
Zero then either Stay/Night,UBW or HF if you just want the "main" story.

I say either because each one after Zero features the protag hooking up with a different chick* Saber in S/N,Rin in UBW and Sakura in HF * so take your pick of which girl you like best I guess.

Twitter is mad because the bunny hero from MHA “doesn’t sound black”, despite the VA actually being black.

Start with FSN, then UBW, then Heaven's Feel, then Zero, if you want maximum twist impact. If not, watch FSN, then the Ufotable ones, starting with Zero. If you want a bit more insight into the Nasuverse, Kara no Kyoukai is worth a watch. Ryougi Shiki is the Best Girl in the Nasuverse and I say that as a fan of Rin.

I started watching the original Sailor Moon anime. I wanted a 80s ~ 90s series to watch and SM is what I landed on after looking around. I'm only a few episodes in and they've mostly been episodic but they're well paced and well structured and the writing is good; Usagi makes a good protagonist and it's funny seeing how useless she is during her first few fights. Speaking of the plots and characters, I legit thought Motoki was going to be Jadeite in disguise... but then I looked it up and, no, Motoki's just an early red herring love interest.

I also really like the look of the rougher, hand-drawn art from this era; the smooth, soft art with a ton of CGI of the modern era often looks bland to me. Imagine Goblin Slayer looking like Ninja Scroll or Vampire Hunter D.

Anyway, I'm enjoying Sailor Moon so far. Unfortunately the torrents I use for it only go up to episode 89 right, though hopefully they release the next batch before I catch up. Which reminds me: are the blu-ray releases for the original Sailor Moon anime awful or something? The Hark0n torrents (which is what I was recommended for the best quality) I'm using apparently use the Italian DVD releases for the video and I've seen more than a few people mention problems with the blu-ray quality.

Anime to recommend to someone who isn't into anime?

Asking for a friend.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is probably a good start. It keeps a consistent pace and quality throughout its run and really is just solid all-around with a minimal quantity of weird anime bullshit that newcomers might find off-putting.

I watched the first Sailor Moon series a couple years back, and yeah, it holds up. I'm glad that it's been getting re-dubbed without the goofy localization the original dub had, the new dub is much better quality. Finally got around to watching R, and I'm about halfway through now. Still good aside from Chibiusa being a fucking stupid awful asshole character holy shit

Dunno about the people saying the BDs are bad, that's what I've been watching and they look fine to me. Maybe they botched something, but if they did, I haven't noticed.

Also Sailor Jupiter is best girl and all other opinions are wrong.

Yet another reason I'm glad I dropped that series years ago. I seriously don't get the hype surrounding it. When you peel away the capeshit facade, it's just a standard generic shonen series pretending to be something it's not. Also has massive character overload so pretty much everyone aside from Deku and I guess Bakugo get no screentime. Doesn't really help that I only liked maybe one or two characters, and Deku was definitely not one of them.

Just gonna shill for Black Clover again, because damned if it doesn't keep up the quality. It may be another generic shonen series, but it leans into it and doesn't pretend otherwise. And unlike MHA, there's really not a single character in the series I don't like. Even the asshole characters have something to enjoy about them, usually by being comically over-the-top in how dickish they are. More people should check it out.

Sorry. I hope you enjoy it. Just don't throw your hands up at Stay/Night. There's better stuff.

They could do worse than dubbing Garden of Sinners. UFOtable, if its sick of Fate, needs to start on witch of the holy night.

Has anyone heard when Song of Seiya is getting made? Butcher is behind that one.

And people wonder why I prefer subs.

As I don't speak Japanese, I prefer English. Its a completely different experience watching without having to read. Though the dub industry has a nasty STD it needs to get treated...

Yeah, but the FanSubs are solid, and the main pair's Japanese voices are Maaya Sakamoto and Kenichi Suzumura. Husband/Wife team who work well together and I can't really think of a good English speaking replacement for Maaya. Maybe Laura Bailey, but she's a little too flat for Shiki.

I know subs aren't for everyone though, I just read so fast it doesn't matter to me.
