Unfortunate reality is that a camper van (technically a Class B rig) or even the smallest of Class A or Class C motorhomes does not have the passageway clearance for Amber's frame. Simply put, she's too fat to squeeze from one end of the rig to the other. Source - long-term camper in a small setup. She wouldn't be able to fit between the kitchen area and the dining area in any setup less than 25 feet in length that doesn't have slideouts or doesn't have its slideouts extended. Technically she could fit in mine (it's a rather unique build), but she exceeds the weight capacity of the boards that support the bed in back, so nope. And she's too wide to fit into my wet bath, so she'd be incapable of showering.
Then there's the issue of slideout weight capacity. Smaller campers featuring slideouts don't have the weight-handling capacity for AL to be in the sliding section, as smaller slideouts typically are rated between 400-600 lbs and some of that weight is taken by any furniture placed upon them.
They can't afford the monster rigs with heavy duty slideouts that can handle up to 4000 lbs and have sufficient clearance for our resident butterball to shamble through.
Hell, I don't think she'd be able to fit through the standard RV door, now that I stare at one and ponder the possibilities. If anything, it'd be a very tight squeeze. And her weight would strain all but the most mighty of ladderwells to be able to reach said door in the first place.
Good dream, but ultimately it's that - a dream.
