CHELSEA, Manhattan — Multiple people were injured during an outdoor explosion in Chelsea Saturday night.

The explosion happened at 135 23rd St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues.

It was not immediately clear how many people were injured or the severity of their injuries. Preliminary reports indicate at least 14 minor injuries.

The FDNY is on the scene with the NYPD Counterterrorism Unit.

The explosion comes after a pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park, New Jersey near the Semper Five 5K Charity Run Route. The device was placed in a garbage can.

29 injured, no fatalities.

A secondary, unexploded device was found and secured nearby. NYPD is analyzing this device which has been described as a pressure cooker attached with wires to a cell phone.

Update: It was Islam, of course.

On T.V. they're saying 25 people are injured and the device may have been in a large metal dumpster bin. There's an image supposedly showing what remains of the dumpster, the explosion was big enough to shred it apart.

People in nearby apartment and office buildings left their buildings because the blast was strong enough to shake the buildings.
 
It wasn't a place where cops gather so I'm putting my $5 on Islams.
 
I'm gonna go for the longshot of dindus and a couple of college idiots helping dindus.
Islams are usually better at killing people.
