CHELSEA, Manhattan — Multiple people were injured during an outdoor explosion in Chelsea Saturday night.

The explosion happened at 135 23rd St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues.

It was not immediately clear how many people were injured or the severity of their injuries. Preliminary reports indicate at least 14 minor injuries.

The FDNY is on the scene with the NYPD Counterterrorism Unit.

The explosion comes after a pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park, New Jersey near the Semper Five 5K Charity Run Route. The device was placed in a garbage can.

29 injured, no fatalities.

A secondary, unexploded device was found and secured nearby. NYPD is analyzing this device which has been described as a pressure cooker attached with wires to a cell phone.

Update: It was Islam, of course.

The most important thing right now is not to focus on the attacks the victims or how to prevent such attacks but be ever so vigilant about the islamophobic rhetoric and crimes from angry cis white males who will inevitably oppress the Muslim like they do after every attacks

we must remain ever vigilant against the every growing threat of terror of inconsiderate cis white males. Every time someone misgenders a transexual it is literally like flying a plane into a building.
 
The alleged attackers family is known in their area for suing the town they run a business in for "anti-muslim discrimination" (it's Breitbart, but it still has some relevance). The business they run is called First American Fried Chicken, which totally doesn't sound like a front for other activities whatsoever.

They sued because the town tried to curtail their 24-hour business (which, depending on state laws for restaurants, may be illegal, if they have a liquor license) and received numerous complaints from neighbors about the constant noise from the restaurant. Because being told to close at a more reasonable time (10 PM) to prevent noise ordinance violations definitely equals Islamophobia.

He's not a terrorist; he's an individual who attacks the populace of a nation whose policy's he disagree with.

Anything not to give Trump more attention...anything. I bet they wouldn't even cover it if they had any choice. Who needs government press controls, these asshats will do it all themselves in the name of social progress.
 
My mom has gone full tinfoil and believes Donald Trump himself arranged the attack and the "anti-Trump supporter" owning up to it in order to make the opposition look bad. Welp. :stress:

The ironic part about all this spin, and by trying to avoid the situation, is that it pisses people off and leads them towards alternative media outlets (i.e. internet websites like Breitbart and Infowars, certain YouTube channels) which, albeit having some spin, isn't as deceptive as the MSM has been over the past few months. It's fucking pathetic when Alex Jones is more truthful about the news than CNN and the rest of the media. How did this happen?

And, in the end, it makes Trump garner more attention because the trust is completely evaporated.

The last thing I want such a waste of skin and oxygen to be is a martyr to his goatfucking comrades, so I am really happy they took him in alive and will drag is ass to court for what he did.
He injured 29 people, that's terrible, but at least he didn't kill anyone. Let him rot in jail, I say... preferably as Nick Bates bunk mate.

CNN had congress chump on making excuses and after being asked about derkaderk traveling to Pakistan and Afghanistan chump pointed out how it's not a crime to travel to "South Asia". Like terrorist was in Thailand cruising for ladybois.
