A MAN wielding an ‘eight inch’ knife has been shot outside Parliament after reportedly charging gates and stabbing a police officer.

Witnesses also said a car mowed down a dozen pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before crashing into the gates outside Parliament.

Why should calling them a "Muslim" gang take precedence over them being an "Asian" gang when both facts are objectively true about all of them? Being a Muslim doesn't tell me which nationality your from anymore than being an Asian does.

It's not intentional ignorance. Obviously any terrorist attack by anyone named "Masood" is likely to have been Islamic in nature. The rest of the post, to which that ancillary point is attached, is that the BBC's terminology is not reactive. Rather than this being pressure from some Muslim lobby (a conspiracy) its rooted in the archaic terminology imposed by the government in-which the Middle-East is part of Asia (archaic only from the perception by the public mind-you, the Middle-East is still very much part of Asia).

Aww, man, that's so sad. You obviously realize that it's bad when so-and-so many people die in an attack but little stories like that really make it hit closer to home. Every holiday, every birthday, every family event - one person is going to be missing just because some fucking cunt decided to go on a rampage that day....
