I was just about to post this. Apparently, Westminster and Downing Street are currently on lockdown.

I'm sorry that this is happening, britfriends. At least you guys can take solace in that you will soon leave this terrorist-plagued shithole we call EU. I envy you.
 
..a knife. You attack one of the most secure buildings in the world..with a knife. How much damage did this guy think he was gonna do. I know alot of cops aren't armed in britain, but the ones guarding Parliament fucking are.
 
I don't live close enough to London to be anywhere near this, but it's flooding the English news. The police are calling it a terror attack and the suspect they shot was Asian so kebab confirmed I guess
 
Were there two suspects or just one. What I can make out is that a cop was stabbed by a suspect who was then shot multiple times. Also, a number of people were ran over too.

One suspect. He mowed people down in his car, got out and ran for Parliament, then stabbed a police officer in his way and got shot
 
Already seeing moral hand wringing online saying not to assume the attacker was Muslim. Might not be a terrorist, religion of peace etc etc.
 
I got home from work not long after this happened and it looks like my office is gonna be swarming with security tomorrow.
 
The guardian suspended commenting when the attackers ethnicity became rumoured. They didnt do that with jo cox.
 
What are you talking about? It's obviously one of those disgusting irish lads from the IRA trying to bring down Thatcher and whatnot.

I dunno. I grew up during the Troubles. Many nights I was kept awake by news of another attack, a bomb found in a school, all those fun things. Hell, just a few years ago they found an IRA car bomb in Cork city, as far south into the Republic as you can get.

Martin McGuinness, one of the biggest wheels in the IRA, just died yesterday. I could totally see some of the lads getting tanked up and loading up the van and trying their hand at some "historical reenactment" in his memory.

Watch me be proved dead wrong, though.
