Now the question is: Who's worse? Everyday Feminism or The Mary Sue?
That's like asking if you'd rather be shat on by an ape, or vomited on by a bear.

Yikes. I've heard of this website. I always thought them boycotting Game of Thrones after that rape scene in Season 5, was pretty over dramatic of them. Granted, I think there are legitimate criticism on how Game of Thrones handles rape and sexual assault. But like people in this thread have already said, the first episode should've been an indicator. I guess you can say that particular rape scene that caused the boycott was the final straw on some sort but that might be giving them too much credit.
"And here’s where Cat Conway went berserk.
So berserk, in fact, that a timid little orange-clad shop assistant assured me that there was Skye merch, in fact, but it sold out really fast.
Let’s say she wasn’t just humoring the obnoxious American woman mounting the giant gender role soapbox on the first floor of the Nickelodeon store and presume she was right, because if that’s the case, I’d say there are missed opportunities for sales by not including Skye on every piece of branded merchandise."
So she complains about a children's show presenting classist attitudes, yes? Yet she is an American who was able to afford to move to London, is an "academic" (which implies she probably had the means to get a college education), and is presumably getting some good money to sit on her ass and write whiny shit like this, is pretty much making the life of a retail employee (a job not known for it's staggeringly high pay) a living hell?
Yep, sounds like another SJW cares more about the media portrayal of fictional characters over how they treat real people.
Nah they're just pissed off that it happened to Sansa. They had no objections about Theon's torture, nor Jaime getting his hand cut off, nor Littlefinger essentially getting molested by Lysa.
Huh. Wonder how the reacted to that Cersei scene from Season 4.
They said it was pointless gender-based violence and boycotted the show.Huh. Wonder how the reacted to that Cersei scene from Season 4.

Selective outrage. It is also proof they never even watched the show or read the books, because Daenerys got raped in the very first episode. Where were these assholes?
(It was a really good rape, too, and bad people, totally horrible people, probably got off to it.)
Why do these people always wear the ugliest glasses? It's like a warning sign to stay away from them.

Christ on a Cross.Yeah, this is the kind of shit we get from that comic:
And I can't say much for the writing quality either, but SJW types eat it up because she's chubby, a woman, and she does stupid shit like debate pronouns with Galactus.![]()

Ugh...
It really isn't hard at all to do Squirrel Girl right. There's already an incredibly successful comic that does everything a good Squirrel Girl comic should do, and it's the fucking tits.I remember at one point there was a time when squirrel girl was actually starting to become a decent character, she had a quirky but tolerable personality, a cute design, and she could be pretty serious when she needed to. But one day she did a 180 and well....that happened.
Hasn't it gotten to the point where you can either get a 400 sq. ft. flat for £4,000,000 or live in an area where you can get your hands cut off for not being Muslim?London is also fucking expensive. There is some truth when people say that to live in London you must either be really rich, really foreign, or both.

It’s sad and infuriating to watch a woman of Rousey’s stature, one who’s fought hard to get women their due in her field, turn her back on women who are not like her. Rousey is a hypocrite who flouts gender norms when it suits her, but throws women under the bus when it doesn’t. I can no longer respect her big talk about body positivity and being persistent and not being a “Do Nothin’ Bitch” when she’s unwilling to afford trans athletes that same respect. No matter how many belts she wins.
