I mean... guys... Lola was really only there to give Bugs a love interest. Call that sexist, because maybe you can get some spin on it, but you're essentially asking them to give an unimportant side character some huge role. This is like asking Disney to give that one Stormtrooper that didn't realize that those were the droids he was looking for a major part in some epic tale of redemption. No one cares about him because he's just filling a role.

The funny thing is, they did give Lola a huge role... in the Looney Tunes Show. Then again, they also gave her a personality and flaws, so The Mary Sue probably hates that version of Lola.*

I speak as someone who has often read shit on Jezebel and other feminist blogs and even thought they were mostly sane, at least before a couple years ago.

For one thing, how the fuck do you name your site after the worst trope ever? Seriously, a Mary Sue is awful, so calling your site this is basically calling your site thisisanutterfuckingpieceofshit.com.

How do you get worse than that?

Well, you then hire the people who "write," if you can call it that, for the site. I defy anyone to find a single thing on that site that EVER was remotely good.

I can easily come up with multiple examples, should anyone demand them, of entirely reasonable things posted on Jezebel.
