There's something I don't understand. So the cord sparked and it started the fire. Fair enough. However, you go on to say the fire wasn't electrical. That's what I don't understand. If the fire was started by a spark from the cord, surely that would make it an electrical fire?

Because it was due to the insulation cord being worn away. An electrical fire would indicate no blame for the Chandlers, an accident.

This was started by negligence and stupidity. Simple as.

Just think, some guy cleaning out his garage years ago looked at that very extension cord and said to himself "nah I don't need this one anymore, I just got the kind with the fuse built into it, I'll toss this into the Goodwill box". He unknowingly became Chris' greatest troll.

This becomes even better if you imagine it as not some guy cleaning out the electrical cord, but instead a boyfriend free girl who matches all the sweetheart search requirements and wouldn't mind floating an autistic loser like Chris on her own personal financial luxury yacht that hails from the port of call of her high paying job she's held all this time.

So was the keurig in the bathroom or is that where the extension cord was ran from? Next question, for either answer, why? Did they lose their outlets in the hoard?

Okay.. two late votes and no answer. Clearly I missed something, anyone care to give me something useful?
Yes, I came after the coffee saga...

So this isn't an electrical fire because the Chandlers mucked with the wire, as opposed to the wiring being faulty to begin with. I thought it'd be classed as an electrical fire because the spark came from an electrical product.

Fires are usually classified depending on the exact nature of what's burning - which in turn dictates how the fire has to be fought - rather than the ignition source. Had it been the Keurig itself that caught fire then yeah, it would have been an electrical fire.

It won't be long until they get kicked out of the rental before it becomes completely hoarded and then move their hoard over to (presumably) Ms. Fatty's place.

And then she'll probably kick them out soon afterward before this ends up happening
"Greene County investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that destroyed a residence at Shoddy Pines Trailer Park. The fire started in an outhouse and somehow managed to reach the trailer through the extension cord running into the outhouse. The fire claimed the lives of a Ms. Lee Ann Bumfuchs as well as four firefighters attempting to move the 600-pound woman from the burning trailer. No details are yet available as to what caused the fire, but two of the surviving residents are considering suing the E-Z Burn Outhouse Company."

Everyone seems to be speculating as to how skyraider got these documents.
I'm no genius, but it's already been established that he's part of the clean-up crew or the company doing the clean-up at 14 Branchland.
As such, his company would be privy to such documents as these.
That and they're all available via public record under the freedom of information act.

Long story short, dude either works for the company doing the clean up, is actually doing the clean up, or knows someone that works for the company doing so.
He seems to check the legality of what he posts before doing so, making sure they're all on public record already.
He is a true hero of Christory, perhaps the biggest one outside of the inner cabal.

I suspect that he called the fire department and asked for it. That's how I get fire reports.

It's pretty proven that Skyraider is closely involved with this though his work, if you think about it there's only a handful of people he could plausibly be...
I bet skyraider stole the Dali!!

I don't see the line in the report that should read "Found Dali Reproduction. JACKPOT!!".

The extension cord which the chandlers were using ran through the bathroom doorway, and every time the door was opened/closed, it wore off some of the plastic coating/insulation on the cord. Finally, overloaded and striped of its protective insulation, the cord sparked and started the fire. The fire wasn't electrical, it was a horde fire. If the fire had been electrical, the power would have been shut off much sooner than it actually was. If it hadn't been for that stupid bitch Barb's hording, and the general negligence/stupidity of the Chandlers, the fire never would have happened. All of Barb's shit she bought from goodwill over the years ended up burning down her family's home. It says something that it took the fire department about an hour and a half to put the fire out.

After seeing this report and your comment, it would seem that those who stated from the beginning that 14 BLC will be demolished because it was too damaged to fix have been proven correct all along.

Now the questions remaining are, how much will this effect the insurance payout, and when were they going to stop paying the free rent?

If that's the case, can you imagine the Atomic Tard-Rage that Chris will make when he finds out that a troll of all people is going through his former home and personal stuff? And it's all legal so Fatty can't do squat about it. :cryblood:

A better question is, does he understand what the report says? Because chances are good this is too complicated for him and is something mommy should take care of.

The report doesn't 100% show that Chris is awesome and that Keurig was responsible completely. Therefore, Chris will either ignore it or claim that the damn greedy firemen are trying to cover their thieving tracks.

The Keurig wasn't in the bathroom. It was connected to a power socket in the bathroom via an extension cable. I'd assume that this means that the Hoard had blocked all other power sockets.

With all the "call for more manpower", I'm just really glad no firefighter died in the process.

Would Charb even care if that did happen? :'(

Only if they were held responsible. It's a proven fact that those two only care about themselves and how outside activities impact their hoard. The firefighters who risked their life to try to save the garbage dump that is 14 BLC? Greedy, because Hoardzilla couldn't find some goodwill trash she bought 10 years ago.

Some members of the forum had trouble deciphering it. A trainable like Chris would just stare at it like it was algebra in hieroglyphics. Chris puts the cart ahead of the horse. He KNOWS his TRUTH, and then shapes details around it.

So, Chris's (and presumably Barb's) gross disregard for personal hygiene may actually have saved his life? Because if he'd stepped on that frayed power cord with wet feet, we may well have been looking at a combined electrocution and house fire.

I guess this also gives us a clue as to how long it's been since the house had any real maintenance done on it, as any self-respecting electrician would likely have browbeat Bob and/or Barb into replacing the bathroom outlet with a GFCI outlet, which would have stood a much better chance of preventing the fire.

how much work did Borb put into 14BLC? It didn't have central air in an area with hot summers

fire reports are public info, like arrest photos

Bob seemed liked he tried with window AC units and a semblance of organization. However Barbadge took over and he just gave up. Evidence? Look at the photos of place in Richmond. Bob was the parent there and, by gods, it was halfways tidy in that old man sort of way. I think once he really got old he gave up. He just didn't care. A screeching harpy and a moron ready to tell you how much their precious junk is worth vs. just dying of old age (and bug bites). I can't say I blame the old fella.

It's a lot more likely that he works for statefarm as an adjuster/claims specialist IMO.

And yet one question remains; why the fuck was Chris making coffee at 3 in the goddamn morning.
