And yet one question remains; why the fuck was Chris making coffee at 3 in the goddamn morning.

Who says he was?

For all we know this could have been a result of the little red light that lets you know the coffee maker is on.

And now this thread is going to devolve into sperging about electronics again, isn't it?

Hey, I was just saying what's still on the wiki, or what I remembered was there. I did think the time was an hour later than is recorded but the wiki does still say Chris was making coffee.

I hope someone can translate Firefighter-ese for those of us having trouble understanding?

I really wish I had something better to do.

I'm not an expert, but I do listen to the police and fire dispatch scanners enough to understand most of this. Some things don't make a lot of sense (times, mostly) but I'll do my best.

Note that the report has some things out of order, based on the timestamps. I've put them chronologically below.
2:45: Dispatch tones Dyke (?? May refer to "Dyke Fire Co" in Standardsville), Ruckersville, Standardsville Fire, and "GCRSCS" ("GC" possibly = "Greene County") . Dispatch relays "Fire in the downstairs bathroom."
2:55: Engine 11 is enroute.
2:57: Engine 21 is enroute.
2:58: Rescue 401 is enroute.
2:58: Engine 31 is enroute.
3:00: SU11 ("SU" probably = "Supervisor") is enroute.
3:01: Dispatcher relays that a lot of smoke is coming from the basement and flames are visible at the top of the steps. "223" is possibly reference to a Police Officer or Sheriff's Deputy.
3:01: Engine 11 requests Orange Company provide additional manpower.
3:02: Rescue 401 is on scene.
3:05: Engine 21 is on scene and reports heavy smoke. Switch to radio channel 20. Engine 21 has command.
3:06: Engine 11 is on scene
3:12: SU11 is on scene.
3:12: SU21 is enroute.
3:13: Orange advises Truck 25 is enroute and W25 (Water Tanker?) will be enroute momentarily.
3:13: BVille (Burtonville?) Fire has been called.
3:26: W25 is on scene.
3:37: Command requests dispatch contact the power company.
3:38: Dispatch has contacted power company.
3:38: B29 (No idea what "B" stands for) is enroute
3:34: B29 is on scene.
***The fire has been burning for at least an hour at this point***
3:47: Station 2 is called for additional manpower.
3:53: Station 1 is called for additional manpower.
4:03: Orange County advises Dispatch that they have additional personnel available.
4:05: Heavy fire coming through roof.
4:07: Command requests Hollymead for additional manpower.
4:10: Hollymead has been requested.
4:16: Orange dispatch has tried calling units with no response (???)
4:24: Hollymead Engine 121 is on scene.
4:24: A Charlottesville Fire unit is on scene (???)
4:28: Salvage 25 is enroute from Orange.
4:40: Salvage 25 is on scene.
***The fire has been burning for about two hours at this point***
4:47: Madison County contacted for additional personnel.
4:54: Madison County Attack 2 enroute.
4:54: Madison County EMS enroute.
5:00: Rescue 401 leaves scene to transport one patient (Probably the injured firefighter) to Martha Jefferson Hospital. The mileage counter is reset at "0".
5:01: Rescue 401 requests new unit to go to scene as they have left. Resuce 405 is dispatched.
5:09: Rescue 401 has arrived at the hospital. Mileage was 5.6.
5:12: Rescue 405 is on scene.
5:20: Rescue 405 is cleared to return to station.
5:29: Rescue 401 is clear of the hospital. Enroute back to scene.
(The "Comments" section ends here while the "Units" log continues)
5:45: Rescue 404 is enroute.
***The fire started three hours before this point***
5:56: Rescue 401 is back on scene.
5:57: Salvage 25 is cleared to return to station.
5:57: W25 is cleared to return to station.
5:58: B29 is cleared to return to station.
5:59: Rescue 404 is onscene.
5:59: Rescue 401 is cleared to return to station.
6:00: Rescue 405 is enroute.
6:58: SU11 is cleared to return to station.
6:59: Engine 11, Engine 21, SU21, Rescue 405 are cleared to return to station.
7:00: Engine 31 is cleared to return to station.
7:11: Madison County EMS is enroute back to station.

Presumably there is another page or two of comments as the Units log continue past the point the Comments end

In conclusion, we can see that something like seven departments were involved with this mess, with six or seven fire trucks, three or four ambulances, and a hell of a lot of personnel tied up for 4+ hours because of Charb's stupidity.

Do we know how the firefighter was injured, beyond the obvious trip in the hoard?

I thought smoke inhalation?

Not sperging, but I left a coffee pot on for 48 hours with a bit of coffee left in it. I don't think anyone noticed, even after the coffee had turned into a solid burned black mass.

And yet we still have never seen any booking photos of Chris or Barb from their Halloween Adventure.
Cops don't always actively release them without being asked (put them up on the department website, send to the media, etc.), but unless there are some kind of extenuating circumstances that could hurt the prosecution of the case, they are supposed to provide them when requested. I'd like to see them too.

Are any of Chris's mugshots or arrest records available?

As far as I know, firefighters generally wear masks and oxygen tanks for exactly this reason. My guess is he either tripped, or something fell on him. A hoarder's house can be quite dangerous even at the best of times, more so when you're in a hurry and blinded by smoke.

As someone who spent years at a job cleaning up these kind of messes, I just died a little inside. Thank you for that.

you'd probably have to go the Cville PD and ask for them

The hoard attempted to feed on him, but was overcome by the heat and smoke and released him. Some say it was the hoard's first and last act of kindness.

The extension cord which the chandlers were using ran through the bathroom doorway, and every time the door was opened/closed, it wore off some of the plastic coating/insulation on the cord.

How fucking stupid can you get? Everyone knows you don't close doors on electrical cords.

Considering the list of shit Chris doesn't know or just flat out refuses accept, is it really at all surprising?

We think so. Are you a resident of Virginia?

Charb was arrested in Albemarle County so it stands to reason he would have been held in their county jail. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any information on their website. Charb is also not listed on mugshots.com, and I don't feel like buying a $40 membership to some public records site so that I can learn a bunch of information that Chris has already provided us with in the course of his frequent self doxxings.

I'm going to have to sign up for people finder or something like that soon to find shit on people to serve them papers. When I do I'll post all the shit on Chris and Jace.
