His early stuff is praised.
Incorruptible and irredeemable are fan favs and the flash and Legion runs are classics but his modern stuff like Champions (marvels SJW teen team) and Black widow (it's only notable plus being it less obvious in its feminist agenda as mockingbird) stink, Avengers vs x-men made EVERYONE a fascist and his Daredevil run killed a lot of support for a best selling book.
The less said about his Princess leia (and marvel star wars in general) the better

Edit - apparently his current captain America run is set in a trumpocalypse....but atleast cap ain't a nazi no more

His Daredevil run won him a few awards if I recall correctly, but a lot of Daredevil's hardcore fans hated it- Matt got moved to San Francisco, he become more bright and peppy, ditched the costume and had some really pathetic villains. I know a lot of people who were happy when Charles Soule effectively rebooted Daredevil.

Also, holy crap that whole thing with the black wreath is genuinely disturbing.

That's some next-level disregard for other people. I wonder how many other stories there are about him acting like an edgy faggot towards his coworkers? The tantrums are entertaining, yes, but it's the wreath stuff that will keep him out of the industry assuming he doesn't get blacklisted by everyone because of the legal troubles.

It wasnt that it was awful it's just he didn't want to write the Bendis Daredevil so he did everything possible to ditch what came before and retcon a lot of the build Bendis/Smith made.
He doesn't have much respect for other writers characterisation hence the everyone's an asshole/nazi AVX.

The incident with the wreath happened in 2004, it didn't stop him from continuing to get work.
 
Can someone explain the wreath thing to me? He sent 60 black wreaths to people who lost their jobs, and one said "what would your wife think" when she had actually died?

I don't know if the person who wrote it knew anything at all about what actually happened, but even if they made it up, it's not hard to buy that is what actually happened. A mouthy bitch like this suddenly shutting up quiet as a church mouse on his own initiative? I don't think so.

It's common sense. Cebulski is there, by appearances at least (and perhaps genuinely), to unfuck what Marvel has done to itself since it got on the SJW bandwagon. And here comes Mark Waid not just re-fucking their reputation but carving a new hole in a competitor and fucking that ... oh, and giving all kinds of free publicity to a near-nobody whose zero budget YouTube videos would have had minimal impact on Marvel if the lunatics working there could keep their mouths shut about it for five minutes.

He sent a black wreath to Mark Alessi, who was the head of CrossGen Comics, after it went out of business. The wreath said "What would your wife think of you now?" because Alessi's wife had died a few years before. Basically, Mark Waid had a grudge against Alessi and took the opportunity to do the cuntiest thing he could think of, rubbing Alessi's nose in the business going under, even though that meant 60 people who Mark Waid was supposedly friends with were also out of work.

Honestly, that story about the wreath alone would probably fuck him in court. I hope D&C's attorney is paying attention, the guy has left such a wake of misery and destruction it's almost impossible to not convince the Jury he did interfere.

The same way they convert to any other religion. They reach a certain age and realize there's a hole in their soul that just never seems to fill, a fear they never managed to overcome, or a failure they never managed to surmount. Good news, my brother - you can be born again!
 
I've noticed a trend building in SJW and radical religious circles that has some disturbing implications. They seem unable to differentiate the actions of good people and bad people in the same story.

Now any artist or writer who shows a villain character doing villainous acts is somehow condoning those acts.

Did the villain use magic for evil? You're trying to make children practice witchcraft.
If you depict Nazis killing Jews, you're secretly a Nazi.
If you depict a villain making a racist rant? You're a racist.
Did the villain rape someone? You're a sex offender.

Mr. Waid seems to be part of this crowd. He doesn't understand that the ability to play "lets pretend" while writing a book isn't the same as commiting the act.
