This is a complicated thing to unpack because there's a lot of moving parts:"All right, let's briefly, let me clarify a couple things that got said during that testimony in relation to some personal business, I guess. As far as Kurt goes, once I saw the pizza casserole video, I was out. That did it for me. That was just, you know what, I wish him well. I'm not into his sort of philosophy. We're at different phases of life, right? I have five children. One of them is graduating high school. And, you know, Kurt is still looking to start a family. We have different aims. We have different ideas of what is appropriate. And we have different desires when we're out in a crowd or if we were going. So I'm, I don't need to hang around him anymore. And I don't wanna ever, like, I'm not here to interfere with him. I might laugh at him from time to time because I think it's funny. But in all reality, like, I wish him well in his endeavors. It's just, that is not my speed. Not my speed at all. So we'll get rid of, we'll get rid of that issue. And the world can have it. Final one.
1) Okay, in the pizza casserole video, Kurt made a single joke that was kind of iffy. It's eyebrow-raising, but as a one-off incident, it comes across more as an awkward and inappropriate joke rather than a sign of any nefarious intentions. If Kurt repeatedly made jokes like this, sure I could see holding this against him. But as a one-off joke, it's really not that big of a deal, imo. With that said, while Kurt's joke at worst is iffy, it's substantially less bad than the jokes about Aaron's daughter made by Nick's best bud Patrick Melton, which Nick has repeatedly defended. So according to Nick, making a single joke about a non-specific 17 year old girl (which is legal in Texas, Kurt's state) is worse than "joking" about about an actual 11 year old girl (whom Nick has met). Okay. Nick has a daughter who is graduating high school; I guess that's true. He also has a daughter who is around Aaron's daughter's age; I think he has two! So why don't Melton's jokes offend him?
2) Correct me if I'm wrong, but the pizza casserole video is like years old at this point, right? Like older than Nick's arrest? Nick and Kurt, to my knowledge, were cool until MNPublicRecords released the CPS report that specified that Nick's 8 year old best friend tested positive for cocaine. Kurt even initially defended Nick after he was arrested, and the CPS report swayed him, right? I could be wrong about this, but I think this is correct. So, Nick's whole bit about the pizza casserole video killing their relationship is just a lie. Nick is a lying liar who lies.
3) If Nick truly believes that Kurt is a pedophile, why have this amicable, "oh we just have different views on things..." monologue. I thought Nick believed that pedophiles should die or something? Why would Nick want Kurt to have a family at all if he's a future child abuser?
All in all, I don't know what even the point of this rant even was? Maybe, even Nick's hardcore sycophantic audience is tired of hearing about Kurt at his point.
