I don't really know much about elijahs wife but googling her it says that she's apparently originally from australia.
I'm not sure if she came specifically to the US to marry him but it seems plausible.

But apparently she also worked as a counselor at christian camps here so maybe she had a US footprint before him.
Or the Christian camp stuff is somehow linked to how they met. Not very clear

It's usually a personality thing like someone postulated earlier. Elijah has a huge fixation on virginity, well-beyond that which one expects from a super moral far right grifter. I will never be able to find it but I recall in one of his videos that he remarked that initially he was not sure if his wife was "the one." They were dating long distance, Australia was so far away, and it seemed like maybe he was losing interest.

UNTIL the day she revealed to him on a phone call that she was a virgin. Upon hearing this he began to move heaven and earth to get his wife over here to marry her. He saw fit to tell his audience this over a video - I think it was a show with Rekieta but if it was his show, Rekieta's, or the two of them on someone else's show, I cannot recall - but he was wasted and continued to get more drunk as the show went on. If anyone remembers this moment has any idea where this original video is, please post it so I don't feel like I am going insane.

But the dude is clearly the gayest of closet cases. You are not sharing texts with Milo if you aren't an easily manipulated woman or a gay, closeted or otherwise. Every man who was ever that close to Milo was gay. No exceptions. None. So why the obsession with female virginity? Did he think importing a virgin to marry meant she was undersexed and wouldn't demand the amount of sex a more worldly woman might? But then how come he sought out sex with another self-professed virgin outside of his marriage? This is a level of sexual confusion I am not ready to confront or understand.

At least now he's free to date Crowder. They're perfect for each other. They both loved to post that meme of how women had no place working anywhere ever and the proof was a clip from an oil rig showing two buff, oily dirty men shambling around moving equipment, muscles bulging, a scene so gay it seemed like the prelude to a porn film, only to be met with replies demonstrating the two dudes were idiots working in a poorly maintained facility by showing two clean, clothed women doing the same job calmly and with precision. Ever since that day, my head canon was that Crowder and Shaffer would one day fall into each other's arms because I hate them and want their toxic homomasculinity contained.
