I tried to watch this guy when he had the podcast with Sydney Watson, Slightly Offensive.

I really deeply hated him.

Why?

Because he would advocate for civil war multiple times per episode. He would talk about the coming Civil War, but he would do it in a way that didn't include saying we should avoid it. It seemed like he really wanted it to happen and he thought we should get to it. The implication here is that he was advocating for the death of millions of Americans from both sides.

On a later episode, he revealed that he, like Anisa Jomha has no inner monologue. He has no thoughts in his head. Literally none. He just follows his instincts and reacts to things without thinking, like a cat. He never thought to himself, "Well, maybe a civil war would be bad because it would be a war, so people would suffer and die as they have in all wars ever," because literally not a single thought has ever gone through his head.

I mean, that's insane.

I remember listening to the podcast because I often enjoyed Sydney's takes, even if her humor can be reductive. And I just always found Elijah to be questionable at best, and downright fake at worst.

There was an episode where he tried to preach Christianity to Syndey in the most ham-fisted way possible and it just felt so fake. Doing it on the podcast itself. Only to find out he was a total drunkard and dirtbag who didn't practice what he preached. And stopped listening all together to him and anything with him in it.
