I don't like anyone with a beard.
Jesus had a beard, meaning you hate Jesus. Muslims hate Jesus, ergo you are a Muslim.

Dude, I already know that there are problems around the world. I'm not idealistic and delusional.Pew research shows that over 60% of muslims world wide hold one form of radical belief or another. Stop perpetuating that "NOT ALL MUSLIMS" bullshit because the majority of muslims around the world, over a billion of them do agree with Islamic extremism at some level.
here's a nice list of muslim sentiments towards extremism. It throws a massive wrench in your narrative.
Here have another more comprehensive list. Again, please, just stop.
I thought they were called when the Patriarch of Constantinople begged the Pope for aid when some invader came in.The crusades were the result of Islam trying to invade the Iberian peninsula.
Do they know that?
It was after the Seljuks siezed the Anatolian peninsula. Qutulmish named his new holding "The Sultanate of Rum" (The Sultanate of Rome) and the new emperor of the Byzantine Empire, Issac Komennos, requested that the Pope come to his aid.I thought they were called when the Patriarch of Constantinople begged the Pope for aid when some invader came in.
I think they argued themselves into a corner. Many of them probably started out well-meaning: "don't blame an entire race/religion for the acts of few, look at history and see how racists accused some black guy of preying on a white woman so they could lynch him, or how antisemites claimed the Jews were going to take all of your money and poison your wells! Lets not do that again!!"i don't understand why it's hard for people to just condemn people who kill other people, regardless of what religion or whatever that they may or may not follow.
Including God willed itEhhhh... no not really... The Seljuk Turks were breathing down the necks of the Byzantines... and that led Issac Komennos the write the papacy asking for aid
Plus there are about 10 other causes I could get into...
The verse in particular is only towards those who instigate and attack Muslims and the Prophet himself. The context you're viewing it in is not the same context it's supposed to be viewed in.
Additionally there's a verse in Suraat Al Baqara that translates to "There is no compulsion in religion."

Ehhhh... Deus Vult was more of a battle cry to unite the Crusader armies against very united Muslim nations. Remember, it wasn't one army fighting one army, it was the armies of about 15 different nations against one army.Including God willed it
since black people hold the highest victim status in the oppression olympics, i can't help but wonder...
what would the sjws do if there was a terrorist attack on a BLM event? how would they twist it to protect pisslam then?
not when it's against the dang dirty infidels.dishonesty is considered a sin too.
So, you're fine with Islamist terrorism, is what you are implicitly saying here. It's axiomatic at this point: with no reform, comes no change. You can't have you cake and eat it too, nutella.
So in other words, you and a bunch of other "muslims" are doing nothing about it other than moral grandstanding and signalling your virtues while hundreds of innocent people who are MOSTLY OTHER MUSLIMS are killed in the name of Islam every month.
You should probably stop posting in this thread for a few days nutella, step back, and think about what the hell you are actually saying. Your apologetics are disgusting, and you are way too close to the issue at hand to ever have an objective view on the matter. Asking you to be objective about your religion is like asking a rape victim to be objective about their rape.
Can we all calm the fuck down here? We can all agree that terrorism is shit and have a civil debate without eating our own.
With respect, IslamQA is a bunch of fucking lolcows. They have rulings on eating mermaids and have at least one fatwa about how to correctly wipe your arse.
Already resolved we hugged it out in PMs. We agree on more than we disagree.Yeah, I'm gonna ask that we keep debate about Islam/Muslims out of this thread. We already have a thread on Islam in the Deep Thoughts subforum, as well as a recent one about whether or not it can reform. Those are much more appropriate places to discuss serious issues. This is a thread for laughing at ignorant shitlibs who are all too happy to sell out their ideals and principles so long as the people violating those ideals and principles are a certain skin color.
Also, lay off @Ntwadumela, he's exactly the kind of moderate Muslim the world desperately needs more of.
Agreed. If all religions were exactly the same as they were when they first started, things would be a lot more fucked up. Pardon my Arabic. This Taqiyya you're talking about is used almost exclusively by Shia Muslims. It has little to no basis in Sunni Islam, the variety that I practice.
I'm not the kind of guy to lie about my religion anyways, dishonesty is considered a sin too.
I don't think Islam should reform as the religion states that any "innovation" to the religion is blasphemy.
However what I DO support are people focusing on what matters most, like the 5 pillars and being a good, charitable person.
Me personally as well, I don't care what you believe in, we're all human. It's not my job to police other people on what they do and "play God". This is what extremists are forgetting; Only ALLAH has the right to decide.
