I think at best Nick's been granted a stay of execution. Come hell or high water that footage is eventually coming out. And I think on some level Nick knows that too, which is why he seems so deflated when today should've be a huge W for him.

Because - different scenario but relevant to your comment - plenty of evidence is offered and ruled inadmissible. Do you think a judge always rules something inadmissible without ever having seen it? They don't.

Again, the questions are whether the evidence should be deemed formally "presented" to the Court, and whether, if so, how "presented" evidence withdrawn before acceptance is treated under the public access statute.

The Court has taken the position that the body camera footage was neither offered nor received (accepted). That they used offered rather than presented could be relevant, but to the extent those might be interpreted as synonymous, then this Court has determined this is not "evidence" for the purpose of public access.

I'm not taking a position, necessarily, but if you're going to talk about it, understand the framework.
 
Details that stuck out to me from the summaries:

1. The pillowcase on the marital bed tested positive for cocaine

2. The bedside table/snack refrigerator had visible cocaine on top of it

3. Children's toys on the floor in close proximity to the contaminated pillowcase and bedside table/snack refrigerator

So it's easy to figure out how Rekeita's child absorbed significant amount of cocaine. It wasn't external contamination, it was a constant sprinkle and cloud of cocaine particles in the air where she breathed, trickling down unto her nightly dinner Lunchable, from the very pillowcase where she lay her head at night, embedded in the matted plush fur of her favorite toy, and probably from the slightly used straw in her juice box.

Also did anyone else have "nitrous" on their bingo cards? I had "whippits", but just because I lacked the imagination to believe that Rekeita was so degenerate as to rent an industrial-sized tank for his personal use, especially not at that point in the journey. If that tank would have developed a fast leak one night, it could have killed everyone in the house.
