Here's something I've been wondering.

Chris seems like a complete pushover for his parents. If they want him to do the chores, he'll do them. If Barb wants him to sleep in her bed, he'll do it. It doesn't mean he'll be happy while doing it, but he'll still do it . The only time he does something against their wishes in when they aren't looking or don't understand, like making videos on the internet.

So what's different about the Tomgirl stuff? Bob and Bard obviously weren't happy about that, with Bob calling him a fag and Barb saying she'd kill him if he didn't cut his hair. However, unlike everything else, he kept it up in front of them. He didn't even make an attempt to do it on the sly, going as far as putting make-up on his for court appearance (iirc). Why was he such a pushover for his parents with everything apart from the Tomgirl stuff?
It might have been because Tomgirl was Chris's quarter-assed attempt to reinvent himself, and like any given Hot Topic-loving "goth" adolescent, he was not about to give it up easily*.

*At least until it dawned on him that Tomgirl would require a strict hygiene and make-up regimen, but even then, he'll claim all the "benefits" nevertheless.

Maybe one day she will push him to far and he like any mammal will snap?
I don't think there's anything further Barb could push him to, short of physically beating him (or ordering him to beat himself) to the point of injury. I mean, given his sudden weight loss it's pretty likely that Chris is hungry all the time on top of being Barb's prisoner. If that doesn't make him snap I don't think anything less than an immediate threat to his life will.

Well after a while he started waiting until he left the house to put his makeup and girl clothes on, and then would take it off and change again before he came back home. So eventually even with the tomgirl stuff he backed down.
Chris said:
I have to change my shoes and such and put on makeup when I am AWAY from the house, leaving it in my past clothes (panties and bra remained concealed, so that's not much of an issue). And I have to change back and remove the makeup before entering the house again.

Here's a question.
Chris said:
House hunt? I still have little funds; I am hardly ready to house hunt. I have told you before that Rocky is helping me get help from state services on that.
Is that still ongoing?

That is one of the the most disgusting things I've ever seen. I'd like the room where I prepare my food and drink to be separate from the room where I bathe and shit.
Edit: It's a fake gift box, :stupid:
Ok, that's pretty cute.

What was Chris' biggest mistake in terms of him being a lolcow? I don't want "being born" or whatever, but...

- Making videos, destroying any illusion of the CWC author avatar (and showing that yes, he really does wear those ridiculous shirts)
- Making SheCameForCWC public.
- Releasing his address.

all seem like bad ideas if he wanted to not get trolled, but of these (and many, many others), what was his biggest mistake that could've spared him from trolling, or at best, would allow him to be forgotten and people moving on?

Options 2. Chris could have ignored the trolls, but the idiot had to give them fuel for the fire, all because he was damned and determined to prove to "replace negativity with positivity" and probably assert that he is STRAIGHT. Then every subsequent edit he made to the CWCki and ED pages only helped him continue digging himself a deep hole.

To quote the great Mitch Hedberg.
"Alcoholism is a disease, but it's the only one you can get yelled at for having. Goddamn it Otto, you are an alcoholic! Goddamn it Otto, you have Lupus! One of those two doesn't sound right"
Except Mitch Hedberg didn't quite get it straight. It's more like "Goddamn it Otto, you are an alcoholic! Why the fuck are you ordering a beer with dinner?" Alcoholism is not someone's fault any more than, say lupus or high functioning autism. But when someone chooses not to deal with their alcoholism (or lupus or high functioning autism), well that is their fault. It's basically the difference between being an alcoholic and a drunkard: an alcoholic is someone you feel sorry for, but a drunkard is not.

Chris has mental problems and Chris had a shitty upbringing and Chris has a shitty mother, but for all that there is a point where everyone has to choose, in whatever capacity they are capable, to deal with their problems or not. Chris chose not. If Chris' problems are any way comparable to alcoholism, then Chris is like an alcoholic who uses his alcoholism as an excuse to drink instead of as a reason not to.
Unfortunately, when the "Google Glass" becomes mainstream, Chris will definitely have to worry about cameras 24/7.
Assuming the google glass isn't just the next segway (or sinclair scooter). There are already camera phones everywhere as it is, but Chris photos in the wild are still pretty rare. He's odd and slightly creepy, but not so odd or slightly creepy that the average oblivious punter on the street would bother photographing him.

She worked at the mall and wrote "the tale of the crazy pacer"

Oh, I know that, I mean what made her come to VA since she's Utah based. Does anybody know? I can't imagine her being smart enough to be accepted into UVA.

Another update for you guys. Barb's battle with the insurance company has not been going well. The company wanted to either demolish 14 BC or leave it as is and pay the Chandlers off, whereas Barb has been fighting for them to repair 14 BC. Recent reporting I've received is that the insurance company is winning, and that there is some activity at the house. It looks less and less possible with each passing week that the chandlers will move back in 14 BC.

Also, the Chandler's rental house is rapidly becoming horde house #2. Barb has already amassed a huge pile of junk in a room in the front of the house that appears to be intended for use as a home office or study. There are large plastic bins filled with stuff all over the rental house. Barb does nothing but sit around all day in the living room, watching TV. Chris has his own bedroom upstairs where he plays the vidya for hours on end.

Occasionally, Chris will run an errand for his mother, driving the van to go shopping at Sam's Club, or stop by the Ruckersville McDonalds to stuff his face. (His favorite the past few weeks has been the $1.99 happy meal special, because it's cheap, and he gets a toy) Chris and Barb also do occasionally visit 14 BC to save some of their junk and bring it back to the rental house, but aside from that, their life at this point is little more than sitting on their fat butts and watching TV or playing the vidya.

It appears that Barbara may have been driving the BMW coupe by herself occasionally to 14 BC or to the State Farm insurance office, but I can't confirm or deny that at this point based on the reporting that I have.

Reporting also indicates that Barb has become increasingly delusional and mentally unstable since the house fire. The loss of her horde really disturbed her, and she's been clinging to what's left, stubborn and obsessed with regaining her hoarder’s paradise at 14 BC. She has also become increasingly paranoid, almost as suspicious and scared of strangers as Chris is. After moving into the rental house, she had special security lights installed outside, covering the perimeter of the residence. She keeps the house's windows covered with heavy blankets, so that no one from the outside can see in at all. Barb is rapidly losing what little touch with reality that she has left, living in a world where everyone is her enemy and conspiring against her. She and Chris are both slowly losing their minds.
Man, talk about breaking into the big leagues - good job, man!

That sucks if they can't move back into 14BLC.

Lol, oh Chris. I can't believe his idea of eating involves a $1.99 Happy Meal for the sake of a toy. There isn't much food inside kids meal orders.

Either Sonichu or bad parenting.

Fun Fact: Christian Weston Chandler attended Manchester High School with two pretty prominent athletes. TRUE AND HONEST celebrities, if you will. Chicago Cubs pitcher Sean Marshall(class of 2001), and NASCAR racer Denny Hamlin (class of 1999). My question is this; Do we think Christian has any idea that he went to school with these people? Does he even know who these people are, and how high profile they became? Is he jealous of their success compared to his own, potentially explaining why he has never mentioned it? Do these celebrities remember Christian? And perhaps most importantly, do we think Chris has ever reached out to them, or in any way attempted to use their celebrity status for his own personal gain? Discuss.

No, no, no, who knows, and no, respectively. The common thing about all these "nos" is that Chris has no interest in sports, what with its jerkletes and intense physicality.
