Also, can I assume that outside of the Bazel set, there is no other set perfectly tailored for the funlance? I've been neglecting the poor thing for a long time but would like to give it some time to shine as well.
Mostly people work toward to mix Amatsu armor (Tempest armor) for exclusive Heaven Sent skill and Risen Sharagu armor (Tempest/Prudence) for Frenzied Bloodlust.
Heaven-sent should free you up bunch of slots are supposed to be used for sharpness skill. Hope you have a keybind for convenient skill-swap.
Frenzied Bloodlust give you extra wirebug for clearing frenzy effect. Since Risen Sharagu armor also has
bloodlust (frenzy effect) in there. Basically lots of uptime for damage - affinity - evasion boost and stamina reduction.
Both armors have some level 4 deco slots. You can add some high level gems in there. Charm should cover typical Attack boost, Crit Eye, Weakness exploit. Depends on bloolust skill level (affinity bonus, 25% at level 2), you may not even need that much crit eye.
Basically at this point with these armor sets, gameplay may becomes quite "degenerate" similar to speedrun people. Spam wirebug attack lot. Wirebug whisperer and wind mantle skill are pretty high priority must slot up there. "Weird" part here, Risen Kushala armor set is the one with both wirebug whisperer and wind mantle skill. You can work toward to that.
I don't think you have enough slots to put usual Guard and Guard up at this point, Relying on normal dodging and wirebug counter for defense. Also considering, you might wanna stick to one weapon, grinding different elements for each weapon type and going up anomaly take long time.
And yeah, the series as a whole isn't popular all things considered. It's actually crazy thay world, and to a lesser extent rise, was so successful. I genuinely have zero idea how or why it blew up the way it did.
World was the first MonHun game is popular to stream accross streamers. I mean we are at the age of social influencers and video games are lot more acceptable rather than just some nerds. Similar to Witcher 3, nobody really care for Witcher series as a whole, it's that Witcher 3 was released at the best time.
I don't really hate cinematic nor the Handler girl in World. Imo, lots of people blow up about how annoying some NPC characters are in video games. As long as that character isn't such a piece of shit or trying to harm you every time they can, no matter how petty it can be.
Usually MonHun itself is usually a single player at lower rank, then multiplayer at later game. They have seperate quests, village (single player) and hub (multiplayer) ones. World only have one straight on story quest and force cinematic. Which lots of new people - comers only play for multiplayer, they will find it horrendously annoying. World multiplayer system is more convenient than Rise.
World is impressived for its graphic built on a very old engine and little things they wanna make maps feel alive. I just hate small tiny arena (yes arena) and slopes.
World vs Rise. Beside its core gameplay, theme and graphic. There is also that stupid slap fight between "Soyny" vs "Tendies". That is another can of worm weirdo aspect exclusivity console gaming in JP and Capcom decision. Then there is which game having the best weapon design - balance philosophy. Also, choosing which game to buy, World-borne is always cheaper on sale comparing to Rise-break.
