Prison could be good for him imo, I hear having very structured lifestyles helps people with the 'tism. I think what comes after is going to be messy if they just let him out on the streets, and he'll be dead by 60. Now that's actually a good point I mean do you think his age would play a factor in trolling if let's say after 10 years he gets out and he starts uploading to YouTube again resuming his old life and asking for donations for more sonichu issues. Do you think people would look at him and say who cares he's in his fifties now or do you think the trolling would continue from there?

People troll Tommy Tooter, and he's even older than that. If he's put in a care facility where he isn't allowed internet access, then the lack of new information would stifle interest in Chris, though. Tommy gets trolled because he livestreams, and the trolls can get a reaction from their antics. The best thing for Chris upon getting out of jail would probably be an adult care facility, where his internet access is controlled.
The Virginia statute designates the legal range of time that Chris will be in jail. I'm predicting that he's going to get five years. Maybe Barb will too, but we know very little about her side of the story, so I have no idea unless we get more information such as court transcripts.
I believe that the five years will drastically change Chris. He/She will not be the same. I think we're going to see someone very different. I know that we'd all be changed by that length of time, but this isn't Kyle from PKA. This is someone who has mental difficulty figuring it out. After his release, I believe that Chris will have Christorians after him for information about the experience, and those following just to keep up, not unlike Terry A Davis when he was homeless.
I think Chris is going to be really screwed after prison, because he likely won't have a house, any deep talent, any real-world job experience, and he's banned from all popular sources of Internet subscriptions. Someone might suggest Gumroad or he could scrape by somewhere else, but most likely he's going to end up in a special program doing entry-level work. He won't have any toys or much free time, and I believe that he'll be involuntarily inactive on the Internet due to that situation.
We'll have several years of no news, and then a completely different and much more sad and serious saga ahead.

Why would they bother locking up a possibly demented old lady that isn't really a threat because she just sits in her house all day, even if she may have been complicit in the act.

He's yet to be charged with anything that would require him to register on the SOR because his sentence was deferred. Even if he messes up his probation there's actually a chance he won't be on the SOR, because Virginia doesn't consider incest an offense that requires registry.

He wouldn't get more money for living on his own. If Barb died, he’d potentially get some of her money (assuming she paid into it and wasn’t just mooching off Bob), but even then, they only let a household have a certain amount.
He got more when Bob died because he was considered a disabled adult child who was disabled before age 22, so he got a certain amount of Bob's benefits. Also, remember, Chris can't earn more than a certain amount a month without losing SSDI benefits.
Now, the question is, could Chris find a place to rent to him for within his tugboat? Possibly? A quick perusal of options in the Charlottesville area shows that there are definitely sub $800 a month options. He'd still need to pay for utilities and internet (internet would be discounted for being a tard, mobile phone service too), food, and some sort of transportation. So it would he rough. There would also be the issue of finding someone to rent to him since he wouldn’t fit a lot of income requirements. Again, low-income housing does exist for this reason, but it can be hard to get access to and isn’t guaranteed. This is usually why people like Chris wind up relying on family members forever. And why when retired people are widowed, they often have a hard time if they didn't have significant savings.
My parents were worried about how a friend of theirs was going to keep his house, even though it was paid off, after his wife died. The couple had been stupid with their money (mostly by supporting one of their degenerate sons) and the man's SSI stuff wasn’t going to be enough to cover his bills and property taxes. Losing her monthly income, which was not as much as his, so he didn’t get any of it (or much of it), really put him in a bind. If he’d died first, it would have been totally different. We thought he'd have to sell his house and move into a small apartment at 70. Fortunately, they had a second property that was paid off that sold for a lot more than expected so he's fine for the next ten years or so, albeit on a fixed income.
This is why I’m confident that his lawyer is trying to get him into a group home or facility, even if only for the short term. It’s really the only option for him.

Meaning, they'd sell that shitty house and then use the meager proceeds to pay her nursing home bill until she was broke), and Aunt Harriet or whoever sure as shit will never talk to him again.

No, he got way better than that. He qualified as a disabled child under Bob's insurance while he was a minor, so got full coverage, and then was grandfathered into this as an adult. He basically got the full benefit of Bob's Social Security despite never having contributed to the system himself.
Bob was very canny to set it up the way he did and make sure his tard child was taken care of.

It wouldn't just be his monthly tugboat, it'd be the tugboat plus praetor sales plus idiots donating plus a possible pile of unspent SSDI (we don't know if it was garnished or not from the recent lawsuit, in theory it shouldn't have been, but they could have taken it "without knowing" it was SSDI). There's even the chance he'll finally get that section 8 house with the help of a conservatorship. From my perspective, Chris has a lot more options than the tard home, jail/prison, or the streets.
