he needs structure and jail gives it to him. maybe when he gets out he can sign up for the military and they can load him into a catapult and launch him into a middle easterners hut
This seems…out of date?

He’s been in jail over a year now, and all we can tell is his mind is gone. Maybe it’s an elaborate set of defensive coping mechanisms, but he’s not acting like he’s gotten a splash of reality at any point.

No, he got way better than that. He qualified as a disabled child under Bob's insurance while he was a minor, so got full coverage, and then was grandfathered into this as an adult. He basically got the full benefit of Bob's Social Security despite never having contributed to the system himself.

Bob was very canny to set it up the way he did and make sure his tard child was taken care of.

I wonder if he would have done it if he'd known Chris would go on to rape Barb.

Yes, I know this. And yes, it was very smart of Bob to set it up this way. But in addition to getting his own benefit from SSDI based on what Bob paid in, he also was able to get some of Bob's benefits after he died. However, the statute limits you to between 150% and 180% of the benefit amount (Bob's) per family. Meaning the SSI office won’t pay more than that. I should have clarified that I was saying his benefit amount increased after Bob died for that reason.

Anybody know why Chris's psych evaluation will take until August 2023? It doesn't take much to realize he's crazy.

Because it's not a psych evaluation, it's a check in to see if he's ready to be released after his deferral. Basically instead of actually getting charged, Heilberg got Chris a deferral where if he satisfies some probation terms, he can walk with nothing on his record and no additional jail/prison time. The 2023 review is when they'll check in and decide if he's free or not.

Good thing Chris isn’t one.
If the most minimal, elder abuse. (Some small Southern backroads towns post signs against elder abuse)
Maybe Barb and Harriet made up so his insurance provider card lapses besides the SSDI frozen over.

What Chris is going through has nothing to do with the autism deferral defense. The courts are unsure if autism played a roll and the psych evaluations didn't come up with anything concrete, so this year is an evaluation year for him to be a monitored facility to see if Chris really is fucked up or not.

This is why his felony charges are still pending and haven't been dropped. If you read the Virginia law on autism deferrals, the courts need to be satisfied that autism did play a roll in the actual crime, not just that Chris is autistic, autism had to play a significant roll in Chris committing that crime. In addition, an autism referral needs to be signed off by some top folks in the VA medical system, which has not happened yet.

Basically if Chris is a good boy and acts high-functioning, and somewhat normal, it's prison time. Heilberg running to the courthouse doors and holding a ring while screaming "HE HAS AUTISM" doesn't magically make this all go away. There's an evaluation process, which is what Chris is in now.

It is true that the court could just say "lol no you're still going to prison" after the probation period, but I just don't understand why they would do that. I have read the laws on the deferral, and it says that once conditions are met they can dismiss the case, not that they can stick the person in prison anyways (technically the court could do either, but specifying release means that that is the intended outcome).
The 2023 review is also not a psyche evaluation, it's a review if Chris met the probation terms and can be released. They had all the time in the world to evaluate Chris, they don't need another year. In all fairness to you, the case is sealed and we don't truly know what's going on, but it's safe to say that they know Chris' condition better than we do by now.
nothing on his record
Small, nitpicky, correction from my original post, he would still have the arrest on his record.

Like I said 2 months ago, Chris is getting the easy way out...

Has anyone considered that he could use his tugboat to stay at a cheap hotel? checking some Charlottesville hotels the cheapest go for about $60 a night, which would be too much for Chris to currently afford, but his income might increase once out on his own (it did when bob died) and he'll always have idiots to donate to him (plus the possible pile of unspent tugboat from his jail stay).
He could make a small fortune from selling merch for months or even years if he's not lazy. Those medallions cost hundreds of bucks now, maybe a thousand.

Where are you seeing them sell for so much? You can get an original from Etsy for $75. If he starts making them after his release then the supply will increase so the price should go down.

While I was looking up the prices, I found that it appears Chris Chan Coins can be sold at a profit. There is one going for $96.84+$34.93 shipping from Australia, currently with 4 bids.

Ebay has numerous VHS and DVD copies of Rush Hour, starring Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. I also came across these horrifying creations:

They give retards cheaper rates for internet? That explains a lot.
He'd get a government discount because he's on SSDI, not necessarily because he's a tard. If he also got a Section 8 house that would make him doubly qualified. It's kind of funny that the government will be pretty quick to give him internet once he gets out considering how much it messed up his life (if you think that they'd be smart enough to withhold it that's your belief, I don't think they'll care enough to consider it).

He wouldn't get more money for living on his own. If Barb died, he’d potentially get some of her money (assuming she paid into it and wasn’t just mooching off Bob), but even then, they only let a household have a certain amount.

He got more when Bob died because he was considered a disabled adult child who was disabled before age 22, so he got a certain amount of Bob's benefits. Also, remember, Chris can't earn more than a certain amount a month without losing SSDI benefits.

Now, the question is, could Chris find a place to rent to him for within his tugboat? Possibly? A quick perusal of options in the Charlottesville area shows that there are definitely sub $800 a month options. He'd still need to pay for utilities and internet (internet would be discounted for being a tard, mobile phone service too), food, and some sort of transportation. So it would he rough. There would also be the issue of finding someone to rent to him since he wouldn’t fit a lot of income requirements. Again, low-income housing does exist for this reason, but it can be hard to get access to and isn’t guaranteed. This is usually why people like Chris wind up relying on family members forever. And why when retired people are widowed, they often have a hard time if they didn't have significant savings.

My parents were worried about how a friend of theirs was going to keep his house, even though it was paid off, after his wife died. The couple had been stupid with their money (mostly by supporting one of their degenerate sons) and the man's SSI stuff wasn’t going to be enough to cover his bills and property taxes. Losing her monthly income, which was not as much as his, so he didn’t get any of it (or much of it), really put him in a bind. If he’d died first, it would have been totally different. We thought he'd have to sell his house and move into a small apartment at 70. Fortunately, they had a second property that was paid off that sold for a lot more than expected so he's fine for the next ten years or so, albeit on a fixed income.

This is why I’m confident that his lawyer is trying to get him into a group home or facility, even if only for the short term. It’s really the only option for him.

If Chris hadn't decided to rape his mom, he could continue to subsist off of her. He'd inherit the house when she died (he'd probably still lose it, but that’s neither here nor there) and probably get some of her tugboat. Plus, he'd have the aunt and uncle to watch over him and throw him a bone every now and then. But since he had to fuck his mom, he can't go back there. It’s unclear if he'd even get the house or not (Barb or the relatives could change the will) — or if the house will even exist by the time he's out (if Barb was forced into a nursing home, the state only pays if you are totally broke. Meaning, they'd sell that shitty house and then use the meager proceeds to pay her nursing home bill until she was broke), and Aunt Harriet or whoever sure as shit will never talk to him again.

He had a good thing going. He fucked it up.

Even at event of him getting a group home with other autists, Chris being Chris sees himself as goddess queen aspie and sees everyone else as inferior, having a tard fight when you have a criminal record will land you in prison or medicated to the point that he has IQ of a potato and won't sperg out with sedatives in his system.

The fact that Chris can't adapt and accept harsh realities like his toys, consoles, PC and games are rotting away in a garbage heap and he won't see them again, ever.

Chris doesn't have a future, there's no going back.

His crime really had nothing to do with it. He raped his mom in his own home. If he bought some dildos on Amazon or whatever, that doesn't make it an Internet crime. It would honestly probably be a good idea to make it part of his conditions of release but they have no real duty to protect him from himself.

I hope he gets out of prison, keeps fucking his life up, and keeps posting about it. His pain is my amusement. Hopefully he gets on meds so he messes up in reality and not Sonichu Land.

Mark my words, they will regret allowing him Internet access, Chris will make sure of that. It will be at a level of autism that only he can pull off.

Exactly my thoughts. Chris would be better off without the internet or at least with limited access (say an orderly/guardian has to be present), but the courts won't care enough because he (so far) has not been a threat through his internet use. It's not the court's job to look out for Chris.

Oh I'm sure he'll continue to surprise us and start the "messaging minors saga" or do some other heinous act if let loose, but the court's can't really be proactive and restrict his access because they suspect he could be a threat.
