Valve has responded to MasterCard's claims.
"Updated: 8/1/2025 4:18 p.m. ET: In a statement to Kotaku, a spokesperson for Valve said that while Mastercard did not communicate with it directly, concerns did come through payment processor and banking intermediaries. They said payment processors rejected Valve’s current guidelines for moderating illegal content on Steam, citing Mastercard’s Rule 5.12.7.
“Mastercard did not communicate with Valve directly, despite our request to do so,” Valve’s statement sent over email to Kotaku reads. “Mastercard communicated with payment processors and their acquiring banks. Payment processors communicated this with Valve, and we replied by outlining Steam’s policy since 2018 of attempting to distribute games that are legal for distribution. Payment processors rejected this, and specifically cited Mastercard’s Rule 5.12.7 and risk to the Mastercard brand.”
Rule 5.12.7 states, “A Merchant must not submit to its Acquirer, and a Customer must not submit to the Interchange System, any Transaction that is illegal, or in the sole discretion of the Corporation, may damage the goodwill of the Corporation or reflect negatively on the Marks.”
It goes on, “The sale of a product or service, including an image, which is patently offensive and lacks serious artistic value (such as, by way of example and not limitation, images of nonconsensual sexual behavior, sexual exploitation of a minor, nonconsensual mutilation of a person or body part, and bestiality), or any other material that the Corporation deems unacceptable to sell in connection with a Mark.”
Violations of rule 5.12.7 can result in fines, audits, or companies being dropped by the payment processors."
MasterCard maintains MATCH, a blacklist of companies and people. They claim they do not add or remove names from MATCH, but rather they maintain it on behalf of their partners. This is a lie, spat straight into your fucking face. They can, will, and do - as a matter of common business practice - dictate to their partner banks and processors to add names to MATCH to give plausible deniability. That is to say, they use their partners to add and remove names so they can pretend they didn't do it.
Just because Valve didn't hear from MasterCard directly does not mean that their partner banks or processors were not told top-down from the Chief of Risk Officer directly to do it.

Meet Raymond Rey Quiles, also known as Zwute online, and @the anonymous Hatchet on the Kiwi Farms. Raymond is mentally retarded, which according to him is due to trauma from his time in high school, where bullies would punch and stab him. There were even times where he was thrown into lockers. (L)
Despite, or perhaps due to his utter ineptitude, Raymond was able to make a full expose Google Doc (archive at the end of this post) on another fellow VRChat furfag, and took to the Farms in order to make a PA request, showing the results of his training at General Nikolas Marshall Talbott's PA request boot camp. Unfortunately, the name @the anonymous Hatchet, might have been a poor choice, as Raymond's anonymity was all but gone after only a couple of posts in his shitty thread.
So what was this PA request? Well it was for digging up information to prove that (real names are unconfirmed) Christian Peterson / Richard Miller / foxypaw is a pedophile. (L)
Before we get into that however, we need to dive deep into Raymond's history as a jack of all trades. A 3D animator, a game developer, a musician, a content creator, A CEO.

The game itself is extremely lazy and poorly put together, the assets aren't properly added because this nigger is using ChatGPT to code, and the dialogue is nearly unreadable as he's writing it himself instead of letting ChatGPT do it.
For whatever baffling fucking reason, he doesn't upload the game to Itch and instead links to a "demo" that is uploaded on Google Drive. I downloaded it to give it a shot and for some bizarre reason this is not just "Netcode the Protogen" but instead he's tried to tack on a very ugly game browser to Ren'Py:

But alright, let's get to the story. Which of course, starts off with a completely blank page (and also lets you set your own name, so I guess a particular Austrian artist will be going on this adventure):
So anyway, the story so far is that Hitler randomly gets teleported into this blank room. Turns out this was due to Netcode being a retard and not setting her teleporter to bringing in a Protogen, so it instead just picked some random person anywhere in the galaxy (and it just so happened to be Hitler!).
After you pick up the groceries (it is not explained why a robot machine that doesn't even have a mouth needs groceries, but okay) poor Mr. Hitler has a bit of a crisis. It also turns out that OH NO, Netcode has already determined within like, three minutes that the teleporter is PERMANENTLY BROKEN and you're stuck in... uh... this undisclosed, unexplained, and completely undescribed location!
But not all is lost, as Adolf is already about to get some robo-furry pussy. And poor him, he was bullied and never treated equal. Explains a lot. Also it is totally fine, within 2-3 minutes he has decided that actually being stuck in this random world is perfectly okay and not at all a problem.
But then, suddenly... a fourth wall break for no reason! Oh no! "RahNight_Bluelight" is here with a warning to you, the player.
Now you might be thinking "wow, this is written by a retard". Not to worry, apparently this point is where Raymond decided to start having ChatGPT write his game, too. Hitler and Netcode wake up the next morning and decide to get breakfast (once again, a robot with no mouth needing food is not explained). A hologram of a "sleek, fox-like android" named "Cipher" appears in the room for no reason. Cipher suggests they go get some "digital cuisine", whatever the fuck that means. We also finally get the first decision of the game, and yes, the entire time up until now has simply been clicking "next" over and over.
Of course, the first section of the game that requires basic coding skills has crashed the entire game, choosing any option leads to this error.
Despite the game being terrible on a surface level, it's somehow even worse when you open the hood and see how it was actually made.
This absolute gorilla nigger tier retard somehow managed to include a 157MB copy of the installer for GameMaker in a random image folder. Sure enough, I delete it and the 261MB game folder drops to 103MB. Somehow he didn't think to himself "wow, I wonder why my game suddenly more than doubled in size for no reason" and let this through.
I mentioned before that the assets for the game weren't working, here are the assets that were supposed to be in the game.

Outside of these funny bits, there is a fuckload of GPT generated generic shit, none of which has been implemented or works:
"anti-cheat" folder is packed with GPT written code and readmes, completely unimplemented attempts to block any kind of modification to this dogshit visual novel.
"company info" is more GPT shit, including a "copyrights.txt" that is trying to explain to Raymond how to get a trademark, as well as a "Partnership Policy.txt" that includes an amusing 5,000+ follower requirement to "partner" with him.
"unencrypt and re-encrypt" folder where he attempted to GPT his way through a system that will encrypt the game files when not playing. Obviously, the entire rest of my post above shows that failed.
Raymond also has a teaser trailer for his game "downststar of project" the trailer is truly the most autistic artistic and exceptional thing he's ever made.

On July the 20th, 2025, the account Twitter / X account @cbcfg78330 would post a callout document on a VRChat furfag who goes by the name of Foxypaw. Even before going into the document itself, several details of the post are able to at least raise an eyebrow out of anybody whose IQ is even a single digit higher than Raymond’s.
For starters, the one single person who ever retweeted said post (or given it any attention whatsoever) was none other than Raymond himself And on top of this, he’s said account’s only follower.
Clearly this can’t possibly be Raymond himself on a sock, right? Right? Unluckily for him, a screenshot on the document that revealed that whoever made it also ran a no-name Youtube channel, a channel that also tried to “expose” the aforementioned Foxypaws.
With him being literally the only person who has ever shown interest on this Foxypaw, and the fact that -as proven by the em-dashes found in the video description- the owner of that channel also makes heavy usage of ChatGPT when it comes to writing literally anything, it’s obvious that the person behind both of those account is none other than Raymond trying to do gay-ops on a way so retarded that’d make Talbott look like Jace Connors. Now with the issue of the doc’s authorship dealt with, we can dive onto what it tells us and the “proofs” presented in it.
The document presents itself as a “community alert” in regards to “concerning behavior” shown by somebody named Foxypaw, and alleges (with zero proof whatsoever) that his real name is reported to be Christian Peterson, and that he has involved in “alarming and predatory behavior across online platforms” the main one being VRChat, giving out no concrete information as to what those platforms might be, his aliases there, or even screenshots that could prove that Foxypaw even exists.
It also claims that somebody on VRChat going by the name of “The Godfather” had a conversation with Foxypaw where he admitted to being a predator, and that his reaction after this was to block The Godfather and proceed to DFE, once again not backing this up with anything other than a trust me bro.
Raymond then demands Foxypaw’s ban and to contact the proper authorities for an investigation into the case , trying to paint this nothingburger of a slapfight as crusade to keep online communities safe and protects minors, asking Discord out of all places to take the safety of minors seriously .
Well, the intro is a bit weird, but it surely must get better down the line. There’s no way somebody so concerned about the safety of minors like Raymond would let us down by doing something like claiming that this “Foxypaw” possesses alt accounts without any proof of it again:

Dropping all pretenses, it’s clear as day that there’s something about the way this entire document is written that’s off, and that’s the fact that Raymond is such a massive retard that he couldn’t even write it himself, having has to ask ChatGPT to do it for him and simply copypasting the responses that it gave him as can be seen in paragraphs like this:

Raymond then posts an extremely low-quality screenshot of a totally-not-another-sock-account acting like a tough guy on the community page of somebody called Norther Scout [sic].
Claims that he somehow now found Foxypaw’s Discord username (reckonfox), that “accountability is coming” and that “more proof will follow” because he’s in the process of gathering evidence
Raymond then links to the ChiperASMR channel and mentions Northern [sic] Scout again, baselessly accusing them of being sock accounts of Foxypaw, who somehow deleted the original account that posted the exposé video on him?
Finally, this document concludes with more self-shilling, with Raymond linking the channel from the beginning as he’s “one of many Youtube channels that expose Foxypaw”.
Notice the "Analytics" and "Edit Video" buttons, those are buttons only visable to the owner of the channel. (Also at liking his own video.)

Conclusion Raymond Quiles joins the long line up of retards who believed the perception that Kiwi Farms was a troll harassment site that they could use to rally a personal army, completely ignored the blatant OPsec warnings at registration and got halaled within a record time. If there's any lesson to be taken from this hilarious occurance, it should be to once again, make sure to actually read the fucking registration warning and lurk more.

1. People are upset over Steam censoring games at the behest of the the payment networks. People are more upset over a feminist group in Australia taking credit, but this presents a good opportunity to raise awareness of the core problem: MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Discover, their payment processors, and the financial services industry.
2. There is a bill titled "Fair Access to Banking Act", which is a nice first step, but not a real solution.
I have written at length about payment networks (Section 230 isn't the Problem, Payment Networks Are. Where the Sidewalk Ends: The Death of the Internet, both in 2021). Many of you are familiar with how the Kiwi Farms is unmonetizable, and my mere association with it has not only led to payment processors demonetizing my other companies, but after forming the United States Internet Preservation Society (a 501c4 nonprofit) for the expressed purpose of petitioning the government to change laws on payment networks, I was indeed denied a payment processor for that because of "the principal's background". I am so thoroughly banned from PayPal that I cannot book an Uber with any credit card number it recognizes as mine.
This bill is insufficient to meaningfully help people like me. It is better than nothing, but it has no teeth.
First, the bill extensively writes about banks, but the bank in debanking is often not a literal brick and mortar bank. If it was, there would not be as many issues. Over 9000 financial institutions (banks and credit unions) operate in the USA. If a bank didn't want to do business with you, that's actually not a huge deal. You can find another bank.
Payment processors and payment networks are the bigger issue. When you want to get paid online in the USA, you have to do business with these "financial services". The complexity of this mechanism is deliberately designed to obfuscate who is doing what and making which decisions.

There is sometimes a separate company called a payment gateway that provides an interface between your application and the payment processor, but most modern payment processors roll their own payment gateway.
The underwriting banks that maintain a relationship between the payment processors and payment networks. These underwriting banks maintain the direct relationship with the card networks and have veto on if you get to be a customer of the payment processor. Some payment processors work with multiple underwriting banks. For instance, Citi is an large underwriting bank that is friendly with guns, so NFA merchants will often be paired with Citi for selling guns.
The card networks. These are MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Amex.
When you sign up to process cards, you agree to the terms of service -- collectively and individually -- for every single one of these companies. You are agreeing to some of the most complex rules to ever be written, not for a single service, but for: the payment processor, payment gateway, underwriting bank, and each of the four card networks. If you break any of these rules at any time, you may find yourself immediately unable to make money. If that happens, you probably will not be told why. Risk management is a trade secret. You have no right to know. You cannot sue to know.
It could have been the payment processor directly, receiving complaints from people who want to deplatform you. It could be the underwriting bank who for whatever reason was unhappy with your transactional volume. If you sell too much, or sell too little and then do an annual sale that suddenly spikes your sales from $0 to a lot, that could be a fraud indicator. It could be a card network that decided you are a "reputational risk" to their brand. You will never know who, what, when, where, or why, and you will not be given a chance to appeal, and you will not be given information so if you try to apply for another card you know what to do right the next time.
The proposed law does not address any of this. Instead, what it does is it gives you the option to complain to the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC). If the OCC feels bad for you, they may fine the institution up to $10,000. Problem: Last year, the SCOTUS ruled that Administrative Law Judges do not meet the Jury requirement of the constitution, thus they cannot impose fines. So empowering the OCC to fine one of the largest and most powerful companies in human history $10,000 is already a joke, but they actually have no means to enforce it.
Even if the fine was enforceable, it is up to the discretion of the OCC to enforce it. If the OCC doesn't find it politically expedient to help you, they will not. By the time the PATRIOT Act was not renewed, the vestigial remains of these Title III requirements had been reshuffled into other parts of the U.S.C.
I'd also like to take a second to reiterate just how abysmal the payment networks are as a fundamental concept. I have lived outside the US for almost a decade. In Europe, they have the IBAN system. Your debit card will not have the mark of the beast on it. It is free to pay people with your debit card. It is free and instant to send money. In the US, these card networks charge around 2.9% + 30¢ for every single card transaction. Stores historically were forbidden by card Terms of Service to add these fees to the purchase price, like they do sales taxes in the US. If you buy $100 of groceries at Walmart, Walmart actually loses $3.20 to the card networks. Walmart, despite making $648.1 billion in gross sales in 2024, is powerless against the card networks. On that figure alone, with the most conservative estimate, Walmart had to eat shit on $18.8 billion in fees (not including individual transaction fees, which is billions more) as those fees are taken out of gross sales and not net profit. That's Walmart. Imagine how badly this is impacting small businesses. If you have a shop that sells $100 of goods on a 15% margin, your margin goes down to 12% right off the bat just because you have to pay a random company to make money in the US.
We are getting fucked. We are getting RAPED. These companies are RAPING you, they are RAPING the country, they are PILFERING businesses of all sizes for billions of dollars a year, and then they use that power to break the back of alt-tech, blackball individuals from the global economy, and fund DEI initiatives, mass immigration initiatives, and child genital mutilation surgeries. You, when you swipe a Visa/MasterCard, pay for little boys to get castrated in the US.

The Department of Justice is currently suing Visa for being a monopoly. Specifically, Visa has a near total monopoly on debit cards. They impose anticompetitive practices on banks to somehow force them to issue visa cards and persuade their customers to use their visa cards. To quote the Department of Justice ....
The formal opinion of the fucking federal government is that Visa has NO value added service but continues to add fees because you CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. That's why they will do whatever it takes to stay in power. They have the easiest, most comfortable, highest profit ratio business model of almost any company to ever exist, and right now they have a monopoly charter granted to them by the federal government. They will happily spend billions to stay in power because billions is how they measure numbers in their business.

Google is disabling the original uBlock Origin ad blocker for more Chrome browser users, alongside other extensions that are no longer supported as the browser migrates to its new extension specification, Manifest V3. According to Google, the new standard aims to improve privacy and security, but also removes a feature that some ad blocking extensions relied on to work — a compromise that Mozilla is unwilling to make for its own Firefox browser.
Users online are reporting on Reddit and X that Chrome is removing outdated extensions. In Chrome, a notification window will appear underneath the extensions tab on the browser taskbar with a message encouraging users to remove the impacted add-on, saying it has been turned off and is “no longer supported.” Two buttons are available that allow users to either quickly delete or manage their extensions.
Google’s uBlock Origin phaseout on Chromium-based browsers began in October, but started to have a wider impact in recent weeks. Bleeping Computer has also reported that extensions on staffers devices are being turned off, and Verge staffers have seen similar updates on our own machines.
These changes come as Google migrates Chrome away from the now defunct Manifest V2 specification. Support is being killed not just for uBlock Origin, but for any extension that hasn’t (or is unable to) update to Manifest V3. uBlock Origin users can switch to uBlock Origin Lite, which has more limited filtering capabilities than its predecessor due to Manifest V3’s ad blocking restrictions.
Chrome won’t be the only service affected by the Manifest V3 rollout — other Chromium-based web browsers like Microsoft Edge are also losing V2 support and Brave says it can only offer “limited” support once all Manifest V2 items are removed from the Chrome Web Store. Mozilla says that Firefox will continue offering both extension specifications, however, potentially giving uBlock Origin users a new browser to relocate to.
