Imagine owning the rights to Banjo-Kazooie and doing literally fuck all with it…. Then moaning that you have no exclusives to release.

Don’t you understand how important it is that we have Rare working on a going nowhere live service Pirate game?!?

Let me play Devil's Advocate: I would argue that kids aren't really into platformers or overtly kid friendly games excluding Mario bros these days. I think the majority of people who buy Sanic are on the spectrum and should be excluded. Kids want to play older more mature oriented games that older kids they look up to play. Or they just watch people play games.

By the time I was 12 I had ZERO interest in more kiddie platformer games when I had my N64. That's what pushed me into getting into PC gaming.

What, did they see the nice new controller revision and axe that in the meantime? Because that's the only thing in those entire leaks that actually draws some promise.
They made it wide and flat, so it can work as a warming device for those late night pizza gaming sessions... that is what everyone wants... right?

Go over to GameFAQs and read for an hour, Phil. Those literal middle schoolers have been telling you this for decades.
Eh, might not be the best idea. If they exclusively read what was being said pre - 2010 they'd have a better idea on how to revive themselves than if they listened to anything the gamefaqs audience has said for several years, They're resetera lite now.

To be fair like another poster said, 3d platformers especially collectathons aren't that popular as they used to be and I feel like Yooka-Laylee's attempt at being the next Banjo and then becoming forgotten is proof enough of that

not to mention but I don't think a new banjo game would be good as almost all the people who worked on the original games have long left so you'd just get probably a mediocre or alright game
i'd rather just get native ports to PC with modding tools so everyone can make their own stuff instead of a new game we all know isn't going to live up to the originals

They had their place and it was mostly due to experience making games and hardware limitations. You can do so much more than the traditional Mario, Sonic, Crash, Spyro, etc are more basic and seen as for younger people; it may not happen to everyone, but people do often grow out of it. I got older, found myself enjoying RPGs more and more and then fighting games at arcades; nothing personal Mario, I'm just gonna be hanging out with these guys now.

They are probably making a new Banjo Kazooie, but it's in development hell like all their other projects.

Perfect Dark is getting a sequel, for example, this shit has been in production probably for over a decade at this point. Fable reboot is another great example. it's been in production for 6 or 7 years, and all they got to show us is a shitty 20-second trailer.

When did the last Gears of War come? I think it's been 5 years or more already. Microshit can't make games, they are incapable of doing that. Not even Forza gets released every two years anymore.

Mark my words. CoD is not going to be a yearly release anymore, Microshit will find a way to fuck that up.

Interesting turnaround on the OS thing, I remember BillG wanting to spike the xbox because someone forked W2K.

and yet here we see "Thin OS"

Also interesting to see Microsoft is still seething at the japs laughing at them on the phone re: Nintendo.

The misspelling on Brooklyn really bothers me, and the lack of optical drive on the trashcan refresh is transparent. Buy gamepass! Don't buy used games! Why isn't anyone buying our console?

As to halo, I never understood why they didn't just release different campaigns. Master chief is cool and all, but there were 24 other Spartan-II's. And we came in at the end of the covenant war, there were 28 years of fighting.

I will belive a Microsoft controller with a gyro when I can see it and hold it in my hands

Did you forget they bought Rare who was pretty much the only dirty gaijin studio nintendo tolerated
mate your argument makes no sense.
how in the fuck does rare relate to this?

if you're thinking Nintendo owning shares in them is actually owning them then that's incorrect.
owning shares is basicly paying money to have a say in what something does, the more money you pay, the louder your voice.

Guys don't worry those are totally outdated. JUS' WAIT for the REAL plans trust me bro...

"It's not a cylinder anymore, it's a, uh, a ball! Yeah! A ball, and it hooks up to your home VM... to your windows 12 S-mode only computer and you can share live media account information seamlessly. It also plays television, did I mention the television?"

>hurr durr y u mention Rare?????

even the xbox 720 has a disc drive...

on the rare thing:
still find it funny that when they bought them one retarded executive thought, "great, so we own DK now right?" and the realization they didnt slowly settled in

Imagine owning [insert every MS franchise] and doing fuck all with it. Sony, and even Nintendo, put out a trickle, but MS does fucking nothing. Other than Forza next month, everything else this year was put in motion before the Zenimax buyout.
