Of note is that GTA 6 can't double or triple dip like GTA 5 did by releasing on old and new consoles, plus PC. Also, both the XBox and PS5 are moribund consoles, the game won't be able to run on the Switch 2, and it's a year off from launching on the PC.

That's already putting Rockstar in a bad place.

The female protagonist is making everyone wary, because even the most ghetto nigger out there has by now learned what it means when a game suddenly starts featuring a sassy woman of color as the protagonist. RDR2 was already bad enough with the leftist bullshit, and developers have a tendency to double, triple and quadruple down on these issues.

Maybe the target audience won't give a shit, normies are niggercattle after all, but 2026 won't be 2022, the heydays of woke are long behind us and people are either exhausted with leftist politics or outright hostile to them.

The next two years of the culture war are going to be the most nasty ones yet, so any company that wants to maximize profit will try to avoid controversy if they can.

I think Rockstar, or their publishers, are very aware of this and the delays are due to massive rewrites. It's either that, or the project is one bloated, mismanaged mess Rockstar is desperately trying to shit out of the door as the budget for it comes closer and closer to the 3 billion mark, and that's before the massive marketing campaign that will surely accompany the game before launch.

Microsoft has revealed the price for thier skinned ROG Allys, one is $600 fucking dollars and looks like it has pretty gimpped specs like the Series S,

I remember thinking as a kid that the time between Fable 1 and two was insane, it was only 4 years (and for me only 3 years, since I had played the PC version of 1, which came out one year later)
Not that any kid has ever waited for this slop, but it's fun to see how insane dev time have become. The 5 years between Oblivion and Skyrim also felt insane to wait, and now it's been 14 since Skyrim. Modern AAA dev is a fucking mess.
 
So it begins, starting October 1st, users will no longer be able to directly redeem reward points for Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. Users will need to redeem points for Xbox gift cards to cover the cost of a Game Pass subscription. The loss leading phase is coming to a close and consumers will now need to start paying accurately.

PC Gamepass going away and will be GamePass Standard and GamePass Core and no day 1 games.
Increase in price for GamePass Ultimate to $25 (this may be delayed to 2026)
Cloud streaming included in all tiers

Subscription name changes,similar to PSN tiers (unconfirmed):
Gamepass core -> gamepass essential
Gamepass Standard -> Gamepass premium

2026:
cheaper ad based tier
streaming only free/cheap tier, time based and forced ads

PC will be rolled into Standard and core will not have access to Day One launch games. Ultimate will be the only tier with access to day one launch games.
