He completely gave himself away there. There was nothing insulting about that message, unless you know what it's referencing. If this whole Champions thing hadn't blown up, any one of us, let alone Phil, would pass it right by. It would mean nothing, even to the detractor community, without the events that have transpired over the last year. He wouldn't even be phased by it if he only understood the reference by reading the Farms regularly. The only way for him to 1) get the joke, and 2) look so tired and annoyed, is for him to be "TheyCallMeDSP".

We knew it already, but if we hadn't, we would now. The dude is cracking big time, and I have no doubt that his addiction not getting fed properly is a major factor. I still hold no hope of him saying "Fuck it", but he IS looking pretty damn close. Even for him, there was no tact there whatsoever. That was even worse than the references to his name changes and guild changes from last year.

Even if we didn't know what the reference was, why the fuck would he be so angry?

DSP cannot think of anyone but himself. I've seen other big streamers get tips saying "give a shoutout to my boy XYZ" and they do. DSP starts raging that attention is being taken away from him. DSP will not play along with any jokes that his chat comes up with. I've never seen a guy interact so little with his streaming audience.
 
You know an additional way that it demonstrates how much his world is all about him? Compare this to when the chat is trying to get him to LIMB someone, even when it apparently really is called for. LIMBing isn't for when someone violates a code of conduct, it's for when Phil himself has been slighted. Everyone else can go fuck themselves, his feelings matter, not theirs.

This kind of selfishness is found in people who have done much more harm than he has, but the only thing keeping him from joining their ranks is cowardice. He would otherwise be a serial killer, I have no doubt.

While I'm otherwise grateful Phil has nothing in him but to be the most whiny, petulant, emotionally abusive asshole he can be, I wouldn't be too worried if he also decided to start murdering people. He's such a terrible fucking liar the cops would have him made before Victim #2.

go ahead and rate me late but 100k minimum? last time i checked the thread it was 40k. What other than WWE champions has he blown the other 60k on?

40k was the most conservative estimate of his WWE Champions when the account was first found because you needed to blow at least that amount of money to get to the VIP level he has in the game. There were other games where whaled out accounts were found or that he mentioned playing in the past, they are from memory Marvel Future Fight, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle.

I suppose it's confirmation that Phil hasn't told Scopely the truth of who he is in order to get special treatment, because I expect that if he had, his profile would be inaccessible.

Though it raises the question of what he DID say to them to get the character limit on names raised just for him. The dev had to have found that request rather odd.

It's not just for him, there are a few others out there with "impossible" names. There doesn't seem to be anything obvious linking them - they're not all giga-whales for example.
