I'm convinced they sent him for that training as a joke, because he was so stubborn and ineffective.
In companies where they don't just casually hire and fire, there's usually a disciplinary process where, before they fire you, they do whatever they can to salvage you, either because they're just creating a record to defend themselves if you sue, or because they're legitimately trying to turn you into a functional employee.
Either way it goes, though, if it ever gets into litigation, they can say look we did this, we did that, we did this whole chain of attempts to resolve this employee's situation in any way other than firing him, and we have hundreds of pages of paper proving all this shit, and this cunt still remained completely useless, so we finally fired him, not because he was black, or a pigroach, but because he was provably (and here is a bunch of proof) a completely useless motherfucker.
