Phil is definitely experiencing quite the escalation of his addiction, and this is how we know he's an addict, because things always get worse. The same dopamine hit doesn't work years down the line, and Phil is at least eight years into this habit. It does strike me as out of character for him and makes me wonder if that WWE itch is nagging at him ever more nowadays, which is what's causing this level of planning. Interested in seeing how this develops because, if it's anything like his addiction growing more demanding of his time and money than things are only going to plummet from here, and I'll love every second of it.
Given his lack of connecting his actions to their consequences, Phil doesn't even regret picking such a stupid handle. But yes, he would be in the clear here, which is the funniest part about it all. He got caught because he's dumb.Unrelated side note, can you imagine if he had the foresight to give himself a different fucking username when he signed up for this game? Right now we'd have no clue what he was up to during this little break of his.
Phil has not once been forthcoming about his gacha investments, not even when they were probably not very big. He has definitely always known that he should be ashamed, but he can't feel such a thing, which is why he kept going, while keeping his mouth shut about how much he has spent. The consequences are what's important to him, and not even the important consequences like financial ruin. He cares about being made fun of and proven a damn liar.He would love to use his pay to win credentials to flex on everyone if we hadn't caught him. Though the fact he tried to keep it under wraps means he knows this is not a good look, so maybe there's a shred of self awareness on his part.
Because he's a proven liar? Why exactly do we think Phil scheduled a time to ditch the stream for a Champions break? We already know he plays the game every time he has a moment to breathe, I see no contradiction in him having a real errand of some sort that he ran, and also playing Champions while he was out.
Mostly the fact that if he had a real errand to run, he would've just said so, and that would've been that. Remember when he had the 341 hearing? That was just before the stream usually starts, and he made mention of a late start without saying what it was. He could've easily done that here, and made it at least plausible that he just happened to play some Champions while he was out. We know he plays it a lot, and he knows we check in on his log-ins, so it makes sense. Why exactly do we think Phil scheduled a time to ditch the stream for a Champions break? I think something like this is more likely, he just went somewhere he doesn't want to admit. (Probbaly not related to his mom though)Unless, of course, he really did happen to play while he was out, because what he was out doing was actually driving his mom to the airport to send her home.
Possibly, but it doesn't jive well with so many other times he has declined to draw attention to what he was doing, like anything to do with his bankruptcy proceedings, or other times he has been late to a stream and even we couldn't figure out exactly why. Like I said, he made a big deal of this when it would've been safer not to, and he has demonstrated the ability to be more discreet. That's why I'm leaning towards "sitting at home the whole time", whenever there's something else making the appointment for him (he didn't schedule his own hearing, for example, and wouldn't have decided when Linda was going home either), it'll be disruptive, but he doesn't like to even try making anything up to cover it. He just says nothing.I think something like this is more likely, he just went somewhere he doesn't want to admit. (Probbaly not related to his mom though)
Yeah not the first time that's happened, just a glitch in the system.I checked the website and it said DownFromTheRafters hasn't been active in 8 days. Which seems odd considering he just burned $2K on that Brock Lesnar card. Does the website take a while to update their information on players? Pardon my ignorance. I don't know how WWE Champions works.
Top right corner tells you last time stats were updated. Right now it says '8 days ago'.I checked the website and it said DownFromTheRafters hasn't been active in 8 days. Even if he thought we would want to check his account, he had no reason to think that we could access that information. He felt that his narrative was impregnable, because, to him, there was no way to see his spending.Actually, I somewhat disagree with this. I can fully believe 100% he thought we’d never decide, or even come up with the idea to check his account, or at the most we’d just doubt his story and run into a couple dead ends. Phil and thinking about the future are like oil and water.
As long as his paypigs continue to pay him, he won't care about any of this enough to act on it. As long as he can continue to get the dopamine hit from pulls, it won't stop.Phil has read this thread enough to know that not only do we track his logins, but we do have the means to ascertain a rough estimate of his spending, even without TJGamebox around. This is obvious, because he also keeps running from us as we discover his various means of communicating with other players, which would only happen if he kept track of this thread.
Phil knew we were going to catch him, and would have a good idea of his money wasted, and couldn't stop himself because he's that much of an addict. And a spiteful child.
A true testament to WHY he keeps fucking up, because he has had so many things go wrong and yet he's never prepared for them.Phil doesn't talk about leaks until he thinks of a way to spin it, and he is consistently caught off guard when they come around.
Because he's never faced consequences. Yeah, he got dumped from Machinima, but his tards immediately covered with tips. Yeah, he had to file for bankruptcy, but his tards kept right on giving him money. Yeah, he got booted from Twitch partnership, but his tards more than made up for that.yet he's never prepared for them
Except he DID think about the future, because he planned this, and yet at no point did it occur to him that maybe he shouldn't because we would find out easily.
He doesn't care about any of this, in his mind he pretends there's not enough evidence to conclude he's Rafters. It's what he's going with as we've seen in one of his old rants and true fans won't care anyways. While knowing full well, going into this, that we would spot the bullshit, check his account, discover the truth, and mock him for not only his stupid story but his addiction to a shitty predatory mobile game.
There's a difference between what Phil knows and what he puts forth in his narrative, though. And despite it being obvious that everybody knows and it cost him nothing, Phil still acts like admitting it is the worst idea ever, he still acts like it's not something he has been thoroughly exposed for. I would expect that to make him think more, but it doesn't. It never has, not even once. The most he has done to stay a step ahead of detractors is choose a new guild that used LINE instead of Discord, after we found about his Discord, then to one that didn't require anything, after LINE was found.According to him we have nothing, just conspiracy theories. It's best if you don't think about it, and it's what's expected from his fans so there's nothing to worry about.
