It does strike me as out of character for him and makes me wonder if that WWE itch is nagging at him ever more nowadays, which is what's causing this level of planning. Interested in seeing how this develops because, if it's anything like his addiction growing more demanding of his time and money than things are only going to plummet from here, and I'll love every second of it.
Phil is definitely experiencing quite the escalation of his addiction, and this is how we know he's an addict, because things always get worse. The same dopamine hit doesn't work years down the line, and Phil is at least eight years into this habit.

Doesn't help that his entitlement is insane, and the way the paypigs are holding out on him is going to exacerbate things. The worse things get for him elsewhere in his life, the more he needs to whale out.
Unrelated side note, can you imagine if he had the foresight to give himself a different fucking username when he signed up for this game? Right now we'd have no clue what he was up to during this little break of his.
Given his lack of connecting his actions to their consequences, Phil doesn't even regret picking such a stupid handle. But yes, he would be in the clear here, which is the funniest part about it all. He got caught because he's dumb.
He would love to use his pay to win credentials to flex on everyone if we hadn't caught him. Though the fact he tried to keep it under wraps means he knows this is not a good look, so maybe there's a shred of self awareness on his part.
Phil has not once been forthcoming about his gacha investments, not even when they were probably not very big. He has definitely always known that he should be ashamed, but he can't feel such a thing, which is why he kept going, while keeping his mouth shut about how much he has spent. The consequences are what's important to him, and not even the important consequences like financial ruin. He cares about being made fun of and proven a damn liar.

As for it killing him that he can't be public about it, I think he cares more about being quiet in private. There's a reason he stopped posting on public forums for gacha games after The Incident made him so infamous, and has been able to hold in his flexing on camera, while doing so with anything proves impossible for him. He was very chatty in the Champions community before being exposed, and I'm sure he misses that, but you'll notice he wasn't honest about who he really is. I doubt that bothered him, at least anywhere near as much as self-documenting what kind of loser he is.

Why exactly do we think Phil scheduled a time to ditch the stream for a Champions break? We already know he plays the game every time he has a moment to breathe, I see no contradiction in him having a real errand of some sort that he ran, and also playing Champions while he was out.

Because he's a proven liar?

Mostly the fact that if he had a real errand to run, he would've just said so, and that would've been that. Remember when he had the 341 hearing? That was just before the stream usually starts, and he made mention of a late start without saying what it was. He could've easily done that here, and made it at least plausible that he just happened to play some Champions while he was out. We know he plays it a lot, and he knows we check in on his log-ins, so it makes sense.

But instead, he concocted a story more reeking of bullshit than the pigsty he streams from. Not to mention, if he just happened to play while he was out, like I said, when he plans something in advance and makes a big thing of it, he knows exactly what us detractors are going to check on: Champions. The only way to explain why he would both make a big show of supposedly driving Kat to work because it's Black Friday (as if that's a tradition with him when it isn't) AND not think or care about how doing so snitches on himself, is if squeezing in more play time was the entire purpose all long, and getting caught was something he could accept because he's itching that fucking bad.

Unless, of course, he really did happen to play while he was out, because what he was out doing was actually driving his mom to the airport to send her home. That I could also accept as explaining why he was so weird and dumb about this, because he seemed rather nervous in his attempt to bullshit everyone, like he was afraid someone was watching him. He gets like that when the stakes of getting caught are higher than usual. But I'm doubtful because I doubt Linda tolerates it when her little boy is on his phone while she's talking (as much as HE loves to rant, that shit comes from somewhere).

And in either situation, Phil is supposed to be driving enough to not have time to play, ESPECIALLY in the story he wants everyone to believe. Doesn't add up no matter what the situation is, unless he was at home the whole time and lied about everything.

I think something like this is more likely, he just went somewhere he doesn't want to admit. (Probbaly not related to his mom though)
Possibly, but it doesn't jive well with so many other times he has declined to draw attention to what he was doing, like anything to do with his bankruptcy proceedings, or other times he has been late to a stream and even we couldn't figure out exactly why. Like I said, he made a big deal of this when it would've been safer not to, and he has demonstrated the ability to be more discreet. That's why I'm leaning towards "sitting at home the whole time", whenever there's something else making the appointment for him (he didn't schedule his own hearing, for example, and wouldn't have decided when Linda was going home either), it'll be disruptive, but he doesn't like to even try making anything up to cover it. He just says nothing.

Makes sense to me that he would concoct such a DSP sounding bullshit story because the plan the whole time was to duck out of streaming and play Champions. It's rather panicky, and he gets like that when he doesn't have anything to actually do at the time he's stepping away. Also fits in with his lack of imagination. I mean, driving Kat to work because it's Black Friday? Only Phil would think of that and not see how nonsensical it is.

I checked the website and it said DownFromTheRafters hasn't been active in 8 days. Which seems odd considering he just burned $2K on that Brock Lesnar card. Does the website take a while to update their information on players? Pardon my ignorance. I don't know how WWE Champions works.

Yeah not the first time that's happened, just a glitch in the system.

Top right corner tells you last time stats were updated. Right now it says '8 days ago'.

Actually, I somewhat disagree with this. I can fully believe 100% he thought we’d never decide, or even come up with the idea to check his account, or at the most we’d just doubt his story and run into a couple dead ends. Phil and thinking about the future are like oil and water.
Even if he thought we would want to check his account, he had no reason to think that we could access that information. He felt that his narrative was impregnable, because, to him, there was no way to see his spending.

Without that access, we'd gotten most if not all of the evidence we could've gotten.

Phil has read this thread enough to know that not only do we track his logins, but we do have the means to ascertain a rough estimate of his spending, even without TJGamebox around. This is obvious, because he also keeps running from us as we discover his various means of communicating with other players, which would only happen if he kept track of this thread.

Phil knew we were going to catch him, and would have a good idea of his money wasted, and couldn't stop himself because he's that much of an addict. And a spiteful child.

As long as his paypigs continue to pay him, he won't care about any of this enough to act on it. As long as he can continue to get the dopamine hit from pulls, it won't stop.

I doubt Phil thought we would catch him, he would've had something prepared for when it happened. Phil doesn't talk about leaks until he thinks of a way to spin it, and he is consistently caught off guard when they come around.

A true testament to WHY he keeps fucking up, because he has had so many things go wrong and yet he's never prepared for them.

I'll never forget his priceless reaction to seeing "DownFromTheRafters" show up in his chat. He legit did not consider that his detractors are simply too clever and dedicated to slip something like that past them. That's part of the problem, too. His ego won't let him admit that he's trying to punch well above his weight by attempting to pull a fast one on us, and so he constantly underestimates what we can find.

yet he's never prepared for them
Because he's never faced consequences. Yeah, he got dumped from Machinima, but his tards immediately covered with tips. Yeah, he had to file for bankruptcy, but his tards kept right on giving him money. Yeah, he got booted from Twitch partnership, but his tards more than made up for that.

The only way Phil will ever consider changing is if the money stops flowing. And at least in the near future, that doesn't seem likely to happen.

That's just it, though, because Phil is more than just his greed, in fact his ego keeps money out of his pocket quite often. I would expect someone so easily bruised to have sharper reflexes by now, to have flashbacks of being embarrassed, yet with Phil, that just never happens. Not at times it would spare him of any further embarrassment. He only remembers the pain when it gets brought up by someone making fun of him for the time he did such and such, never when he's about to, say, name his account in Champions.

The other reason I have a hard time chalking it up to a lack of consequences is that Phil is documented as having been punished by a number of parties over the years, and his response has always been to get indignant. I've never seen someone so stubbornly insistent on being a shit and getting away with it just because, instead of avoiding trouble by ceasing to be such a shit. The degree to which Phil values having both his bad behavior and a lack of any consequences is so insane that it has me convinced that you can take away all that money, forever, and he will still keep trudging forward being a pigroach. You can't teach him a damn thing no matter what, because he doesn't hate the burning sensation more than he loves the thought of playing with fire and somehow not getting burned.

It's true that a legit financial struggle is the one last consequence for Phil to go through, but I absolutely expect it to be the moment where he shows once and for all just how stubborn and stupid he really is. I expect him to act like everything is fine and that he doesn't need to change for the better. He will not save himself. It's not his threshold, it's the inevitable destiny he created for himself.

Except he DID think about the future, because he planned this, and yet at no point did it occur to him that maybe he shouldn't because we would find out easily.
While knowing full well, going into this, that we would spot the bullshit, check his account, discover the truth, and mock him for not only his stupid story but his addiction to a shitty predatory mobile game.
He doesn't care about any of this, in his mind he pretends there's not enough evidence to conclude he's Rafters. It's what he's going with as we've seen in one of his old rants and true fans won't care anyways.
If it gets out of hand and people start to question things, he can always cut all discussion because he has completely isolated himself in all platforms.
You can't reply him on Twitter unless he follows you, any mention of champions is instantly banned in his website, and in Youtube he can always strawman and gaslight, then ban. The ways he addresses it are always desperate and full of holes, but it doesn't matter because he'll get the "yeah Phil, I'm only here for the games not drama" attitude from "positive" viewers.

According to him we have nothing, just conspiracy theories. It's best if you don't think about it, and it's what's expected from his fans so there's nothing to worry about.

If we're talking about DSP ever suspecting that he'd get caught in this game at all, I bet he didn't. He had the same Discord account for talking to his mods, he even got confident enough to put one of his images as his PFP, which frames him even more but not because of the obvious reasons he'd thought of.
That was his way to give the middle finger to Kiwifarms and it backfired.

When this was still a hot topic around the first leaks, if one of his moderators at that time provided his unique id that would've been the biggest blow to his face, because then it would be verified by looking at Rafters', in that order (at that time the existence of the developer/unique id was not even mentioned). If he dared to address that then, the only excuse he'd have is to say that his mod got Rafters' id first, then lied about him having the same (which is unlikely to happen, the mod would need to go out of his way to access champions servers to begin with) so he would default to an even worse "trolls fabricated stuff" argument than the one we have right now. Would've been peak embarrassment.

In the end it doesn't matter, he's been caught with his face stuck in the cookie jar. It just took a bit longer and didn't have as much impact in his fanbase as if what I mention above would've happened.

There's a difference between what Phil knows and what he puts forth in his narrative, though. And despite it being obvious that everybody knows and it cost him nothing, Phil still acts like admitting it is the worst idea ever, he still acts like it's not something he has been thoroughly exposed for. I would expect that to make him think more, but it doesn't. It never has, not even once. The most he has done to stay a step ahead of detractors is choose a new guild that used LINE instead of Discord, after we found about his Discord, then to one that didn't require anything, after LINE was found.

This is also to say nothing of his paranoia showing powerfully within his mod Discord, as he demonstrably doesn't like telling even his moderators anything about a damn thing. It's very odd when such an untrusting, cautious, tight-lipped person simultaneously throws caution to the wind in other ways, that completely fuck their strategic moves.

Yesterday DSP told his chat that for that passed months, someone else has been hacking into his bank account and spending money on ITunes Transactions. Total bullshit, really you gotta be next level stupid or just completely under the age to accept this retarted claim. You guys can list your own flaws within his shitty story but that story gained him so good ole tips yesterday. All tips that have already been blown gaining 2 more Jpegs to his silly WWE Champions account.

Never change Phil😂 can't wait like 9 months from now where this account is still blowing tons of cash into it and you'll still be acting dumb after the 9,037 nail has been hit into the coffin that is IT BEING %100 YOUR ACCOUNT LOL Screenshot_20211203-143009_WWE Champions 2021.jpg

I love how the transactions from the checking account are framing Phil supposedly but yet he won't report them as fraud to his bank to get the account closed due to refunding his tips that help this thread the most right now.

Phil probably got the monthly sweatywoman.jpg chase card too, which means he will do dating missions, but only in this matching three bejeweled skin. Debunked!
