But seriously, Phil is top tier at talking out of his ass; no doubt he has already concocted some BS to explain the $5000 in business expenses/month to a bunch of courthouse boomers that would think this WWE game is no different than the content their grandkids normally consume these days. He fully intends to pull the wool over the eyes of all parties involved if it means keeping his house. Hopefully some creditors do their homework and rightfully call him out.
I'll give you Phil is pretty good at talking out of his ass, so much so he can stretch what should be at most a minute of prestream rambling into one or two hours, but he's never been effective at sounding believable or convincing. Sure, he's got a few wheelchairs believing his stories, but that's not much of an accomplishment. The majority of his viewerbase, even some genuine fans, often catch his inconsistencies and lies.
We've also seen how much thought Phil has put into filing. He basically admitted on stream he didn't think it was that important to be honest on it. And he wasn't exactly subtle in his lying. You don't have to be following Phil for years to think it is strange that someone says they don't own a business, then later list personal business expenses, or claim not to have a pet and then list pet expenses as part of their daily spending.
I also don't think Phil is smart/not lazy enough to create a secret YouTube account. This is the same guy who's big brain financial play was stop paying for his CT condo because he genuinely believed the bank would just take it from him and he wouldn't have to pay anything on it, despite both detractors and actual fans explaining over and over that's not how it works.
Phil doesn't understand consequences because he's an isolated hermit who spends all day blaming everyone else for his problems. He's entitled enough to believe the world owes him everything, and he's convinced himself that because of good karma or whatever, the universe will just ensure things work out for him. With his previous spending, he justified this by just taking out more credit cards to support his needlessly expensive lifestyle. With his taxes, he just decides not to pay them because he was too lazy/stupid to understand tax laws in his state, and even now, he relies on payment plans/minimum payments to get by. And he seemingly doesn't even bother to save up for those expenses because he just expects to get by without him having to do any effort or make any changes to his life.
I think he has that exact same view on bankruptcy. Whenever he talks about it, he acts like it will fix everything financially wrong in his life, with the only downside being a few months of bad credit, but then he'll immediately bounce back and be financially healthy and not have to make any kind of changes to his lifestyle/spending, which is why he hasn't even tried to stop spending on his mobile game addiction.
