Notice how he never actually admitted to being "DownFromTheRafters", he admitted to being "TheyCallMeDSP", and then when Scopely fucked up the name change the first time that's when he decided to sell it. We know the first name change was "TheGunShow84", so he's still leaving wiggle room to say: "I was never DownFromTheRafters, I never lied about that! I had sold the account by then, the person who bought it must have changed it!"
Actually towards the end of his stream tonight he just flat out admitted that both name changes were names he came up with. So 100% admitted downfromtherafters was him at some point

So why can't Phil show his new account? Surely he would name it something totally unrelated to him and his other accounts since he was so afraid of being found?

He was asked last year to show it to a third party and looked devastated. Why not just tell the truth then and show Craig the new account?

Oh shit, I tuned out during the shoutouts after the "admission". I'M SO FELTED. I guess that's why he's the king.

Not sure it was mentioned the past few pages but I just wanna say one thing.

He claims he sold his account years ago and got a new, private one. He could have just show that to Craig last year and he would never had to admit he ever owned DFTR account and spend soo much money on it.

If this is him talking about TheyCallMeDSP/TheGunShow84/DFTR in May 2020, that confirms that the WWE Champions account with all the spending was under his control through the bankruptcy and after it too.

The story is just all over the place someone will have to do a full robust timeline breakdown. According to him he has had 3 accounts at this point, never used LINE but then he made a LINE and never used LINE and all the other shit.

All the spending stuff is a lie but he himself on his recent Champion streams admits its super expensive to do the events and all the ranking shit and he spent over 350 bucks just basically in the tutorial so obviously its a fucking expensive game.

Gonna have to re dig the discord stuff now that he 100% admits it was him. Going to be a huge rebunk stream over all of this Champions shit.

Hopefully Craig will ask him what exactly Phil was planning to show him.

Which is kinda relevant because he said he sold the account when he was tight on money. Pre bankruptcy would’ve been the time that he needed money

Wasn't he bragging about how he had a really old discontinued character in his roster on his private account during the WWEC stream, if Scoply hasn't discontinued anything in a long enough time that the last instance predates all his stories that alone would bust the whole sold the account BS.

never used LINE but then he made a LINE and never used LINE and all the other shit.
Phil's earlier defense was that he never had a LINE account, and that 2FA didn't prove anything because trolls doxed him years ago.

Now tonight, he said he always had a LINE account, but it was for a scam sponsorship not WWE Champions related. So, detractors were still wrong. Phil's trying to cover one lie with another.

And if we're taking his story as truth, the bank leaks was him whaling on account #2, which isn't any better btw.
That was my first thought when he said all this. We’ve all known the account was his, at this point the fun has been how much he’s been spending, not the lie that it’s not him.

Selling a whaled out account and making a new account for a gacha you haven’t overcome your addiction for changes literally nothing lol

I really need to know if the login activity is still something you can track, because if it is it makes this lie more pathetic than it already is, there’s no way you can see an account to someone only for them to consistently log in for years around your stream schedule

I went and pulled up the WWEC interview, DSP claims his current account name is used in a lot of other accounts he uses and he doesn't want detractors trying to find him on other services/games, and his reason for not showing Craig was that he's afraid Craig would leak it. These days he still says he can't show his actual account because trolls will use it to hurt him, so that part is at least consistent.
It's a bit interesting to go back and listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYxEfA9B0sg
Adam directly asks Phil if "TheyCallMeDSP" is him and Phil says no, it's not his account at all. He doesn't know how the name got changed because he even asked Scopely and they told him it's not possible.

DSP makes it a point whenever he rants about Sidescrollers to bring up how they obviously wanted a big confession from him, and they weren't going to get it because it was all troll detractor nahnsense and none of it was true. How can anyone ever believe anything this guy says after today's stream?

absolutely cannot believe this fucker. im genuinely upset that he could admit it but ONLY when he's figured out a good enough lie to use to try and make it seem less bad and keep new people around. all of the audience members he's manipulated and hurt truly mean nothing to him. im upset for them, this shit is maddening.

Phil is also pretty famous for not going through the effort of selling anything, usually citing the same "muh family" excuse. The best example is probably his condo, which he needlessly paid thousands of dollars on every year, but even pre-bankruptcy, both dents/detractors suggested selling all the collectable crap he had laying around, but he'd say he couldn't because people would know it was him and troll him, even if he made a new account name etc.

It also makes little sense because if he's still playing the game and spending money on it, why sell his account? Presumably whatever money he got would ultimately get funneled back into the game. I can't recall any emergency streams post-bankruptcy where he was seemingly so desperate for money, he had to do a quicksale of his Champions account to stay afloat. Surely, if there was actually an emergency, he'd just do a major begathon. He's also been saying for at least the last year or two (probably further back) that he's never been happier and more successful than he is now. And if he's also trying to argue we were wrong about how much he whaled...then that means the account wouldn't have that much value, so it wouldn't sell for enough to get him out of his financial bind.

There's also the issue of the "new" account owner if Phil really sold it. If that dude was apparently trying to debunk claims that he was Phil, why didn't he? They wouldn't have to say they purchased the account, all they'd have to do is post a screenshot of them holding up the phone with their account. They could blur out most of their features and we'd still be able to tell if it was Phil or not, unless they were also cursed with having an oddly shaped head.

There's also the issue of login times, as other people have pointed out. Funny how this new account owner shares such a similar schedule with Phil.

Even if we pretend Phil did sell the account...I don't know how he thinks he looks better for it? Now he's just admitting to apparently having three accounts, while confirming that a heavily whaled account was his. At best, if we're extremely generous (which we aren't being) it means we have proof of him being a whale for years, and now we can't confirm whether the second account has been whaled, but it doesn't change the fact that he was lying about where his spending was going for years. Actually, this arguably makes him look worse because he was apparently so addicted to the game that his spending got to the point where he was at a make or break point where he had to sell his account to get by.

It's just such a bad lie, and much like with Derich, it's for the stupidest reason possible. He just doesn't want to give detractors a W. The majority of his dents have already said for years they don't care if Phil played Champions and it wouldn't impact whether or not they donated, and we've been (rightly) treating it as though it were Phil for even longer. Even in terms of not giving us the W, I'd argue Phil still looks pretty bad because he's already lied so much about it, and now he's continuing to poorly lie about it.

*Edit* Also, one other weird thing that isn't really here or there, but just odd to lie about. He says he tried to "backdoor" into the account using an old iPad. How would that work? Presumably, he was implying the iPad had the username/password saved for auto login, but why would that matter if he sold the account? Either the person changed the password, because obviously they would, and on the off chance they didn't, couldn't Phil just attempt his clever "backdoor" with any other device since it's basically just checking to see if the person changed the password or not?

What makes this even more potentially damaging is that when you create these gacha accounts, you bind it to a personal email or Facebook ect. When you sell a gacha account the buyer usually (especially when it’s a lot of money) will require whatever the account is bound to as well so that it cannot be recovered.

People who play gachas strictly to sell accounts usually use a burner email so that way the buyer doesn’t get any personal information. I would imagine DSP wouldnt feel the need to use a burner email as he probably never planned on selling it. Which would mean that the buyer would have all of his personal emails. It’s hard to believe that he would allow this.

I checked around various gacha account selling sites and WWE Champions has no market. One account posted on multiple sites for a hard 4k that is a top 125 account that looks to be getting no attention and multiple high ranking ones in 1k range that had 0 replies for years.

Doesn't seem like a robust market for these accounts and if you did sell one you are getting 5% return at absolute best for what you spend. You have guys with 10m+ roster level asking for 650 bucks and getting 0 replies.

Absolutely no market for accounts on this game likely due to having to continue spending for every new event. Typically accounts for gacha shit that sells are ones with a bunch of powerful chars and large amounts of currency saved up so you wouldn't have to spend at all but Champions works completely differently in that regard.
