privatized primarily for US consumption (of course).
The swamp sludge they call petroleum in Venezuela is too high in sulfur content to be made into gasoline so it's not that useful for us. When we control Venezuelan oil fields, combined with the Guyana oil field Exxon is drilling we will control over half of the world's proven oil reserves allowing us to set the price of oil. To maintain their war economy and to prevent 80s era food lines Russia requires $70-$80/barrel oil prices so if we tank the price to $50/barrel we can both keep our shale fields profitable and tank the Russian economy, forcing them to the negotiating table. With sub $50/barrel oil China will also buy a lot of it so they won't have to deal with the Iranians who have a habit of having their tankers seized in the Indian Ocean now so we'll have more leverage over the Chinese over Taiwan, fentanyl, and everything else as well as kneecapping Iran's oil industry forcing more economic problems. Everyone screeching about the US going to war for oil can't think beyond the price of gas.

Election, and normalisation in a few year. Probably cartel and whatever retarded faggots where propping Maduro will try to shit it up, and i hope they get crushed. Cuba will fall next, then maybe Iran ? lots of protest there currently.

Chuddha lost, it's happening

yeah it's all sour crude but every refinery on the gulf coast is setup to refine that into usable gasoline. and it'll be a lot faster and cheaper to boat it over from venezuela than it is to haul it by train/truck from alabasca all the way up in canada like we're doing now. california's were too i think but newsom fucked that up, oh well too bad no new oil money for you, enjoy your toy EV cars that destroy the roads and spontaneously combust.

The following are plausible scenarios.

1. Total retard war Iraq 3.0 gringo goes to Venezuela gets blown up by IEDs Gringo learn nothing from GWOT.

2. Venezuela becomes the new Congo Free State little Venezuelan children get their hands cut off if they don't pump out enough oil for Chevron.

3. Trump gets bored and decides to focus on MAGA domestic policies leaving the acting President in charge thereby solving nothing. America gets the oil through ordinary purchases they could have gotten by asking nicely.

4. JD Vance loses in 2028 as Americans get bored of non stop winning and Maduro gets acquitted or pardoned by President Kamala Harris and her troon VP. The oil stays in the ground because pumping oil out takes decades.

I think they're waiting for the crackdown by the government they're betting on a color revolution excuse to take down the government and they're waiting on a situation to get nice and warm enough.

Too early to tell, but right now it seems Trump is fine with the current corrupt regime as long as they play ball with American oil companies and American intrests. If that is the case, not sure how much better things will get for the people there until a fair election is held. As for Maduro, his trial will be a real fuck show and messy for Trump, who I expect to be made to testify.

Personally I hope for the best for the venezuelan people, and hope Maduro rots in jails. But past interventions, doesn't give me much hope.

Give it to Chiquita banana or some coffee company, they’ve lost their self-governance privileges and must go back to being a proper vassal state (same should be done to Mexico and Cuba).

Are you contacting your nearest USMC recruiter to help us participate in Banana War's 2?

The sulphur can be filtered out and sold on, it was why Western companies were operating in Vz in the first place, the western companies had the tech.

Vnz oil is heavy, so will frack well and keep Petrol / Gas prices low for a few years if the EU doesn't. fuck it up.
