Holy shit, entering this thread and there's a lot about "women wanting you for your net worth" (or making a substantial, game-changing impact), why would you date someone like that?

Like if you're normal (financially included), and some woman is not interested in you because of that, then it's obviously better to not have that relationship.

Imagine how sad it is that you end up dating someone who wants you for your money, and if you didn't have that, she would reject you, good riddance to bad rubbish I'd say. What a farce.

It is my opinion that both people are equally as important in a relationship, if the other does not respect you like you respect them, then you're living a lie (unless you're a cuck who's into that).

People always say that women are complex, they're not, and neither are men to be honest. It's pretty easy to tell the desires of humans; if they're so superficial, I'd advide against being with them because the light of a relationship is brighter when in dark times, when the light is weak and the wind is fiercely blowing (which you may not be able to control at some point in your life), it fades.

Romantic relationships are meant to be developed in the context of continuty and community. The idea of "finding love" between two individuals, both without continuity or community (one of them having it is more than enough), is emotional and genetic psychosis.

I'd tend to agree, healthy love almost can't exist outside of the city now because there's no reason or room for it to grow otherwise. There needs to be a reason to stay in an area beyond a relationship, and there needs to be a reason for others to stay in that area too in order to create a community and most of the world does not have either.

The thought of coming home from work/a day out to someone being in my house and in my room and constantly bothering me for attention and having to be aware of someone else's presence makes me feel violently unwell.

My house is about 5x too small for a girlfriend/wife. My mom and dad had acres. He had a shop to work on cars and stuff in, she had a barn and her horses and other yard stuff. I couldn't even imagine trying to deal with another person in a small house or, worse, an apartment.

even if i had a huge house i wouldn't want someone sharing it. not being able to get up at 3am and wander around my house at my own leisure without the worry of waking someone would do irreparable damage to my psyche.

I think it boils down to no matter how experienced and self-reflective you are, the monkey brain throws all that out the window if you've no self-respect and the ugliest femoid gives you a drop of attention. The reach of Tinder is literally -everyone-. You get all the women who never had to write a sentence before in their life because they get attention from looks alone. Yet, a random bloke matches with this humanoid brick and suddenly feels a need to drag their balls through glass to entertain the conversation with someone who mostly replies with "yeah haha".

I've seen what faggots do to appease the most mid man on earth. If men were born bisexual, women would have to step up real fucking quick, but they don't. In fact they don't need to do anything; there's no 'hit the gym', only 'you're a thicc (obese) queen and deserve a 8/10'. I think it'd be real healthy for everyone to be reminded they need to put work in, but sadly the pretty stock blonde will continue to get men who feel like her 2 feet list of demands is a challenge they need to meet.

Once a blue moon a woman shows up simply to go "Umm I have tits and am here, attention pls?" and get ridiculed for it. Mostly thinly veiled onlyfans cosplay marketing on leddit but at least it's nice that people are realizing.

I'm not. It's easy to find someone, just treat women like people. It's that simple. Do the bare minimum and women will practically throw themselves at you.

For the past year, as I've said in some posts here and in the How are you thread, I've been trying to meet women and start a relationship, but the dog incident (also posted about it in these threads; TL;DR: my dog is a crazy escapist and I left him home alone for an hour a few days after moving to a new home, he tried to get out and had a really bad accident with a window, now I'm afraid of leaving him alone again and also broke from the vet bills and house repairs) has limited my capacity to go out or do anything, really.

Just as I was seriously about to stop trying, at least until those problems are dealt with, I met a girl who seemed really promising (biggest thing is a shared love of rock), we talked for a few weeks and went out a couple of times, but it didn't work out. Not sure why, she just pulled away kind of suddenly.

So now I'm taking that break from this stuff. It's bad enough dealing with the dog and the money issues, to add women problems on top of it. I hope to be in a better place in a few months, not just for dating, but in general.
The thing fizzled out, as I mentioned. So I had decided to stop.

Then a woman contacted me on a music-themed app, we talked a few days, and decided to give it one last shot and go out. Due to time availability, we settled on Saturday, unintentionally landing it on Valentine's day.

It was fine, I was on the fence about her all along, You know how it goes, you're feeling it or you're not; sometimes you feel it as soon as you see her, sometimes it develops during the date as you get to know each other, sometimes not at all.

Anyway, then she made my job easier.

Woman: "So what do you think about politics?"

Me: "I don't like talking about it. I have my opinions but I keep it to myself, mostly."

Woman: "I'm a communist."

Me:

I'm resigned that most women will be lefties, I've come to terms with it. So regular lefty is fine by me. I draw the line at Socialist.
But outright Communist?
Nah lady, fuck this shit, I'm out.

Technically correct but the women who "throw themselves" at basic decency tend to be the most pathological.

Example: I regular at a grocery, fat white woman cashier, I talk with people a lot she's no different, starts being all swoony with me over weeks, she then tells me about how her boyfriend "never lets her do anything", I make up some stuff and avoid her, week later she's gone.

With non-verbal context, she openly asked me to help her cheat on her boyfriend, without resolving whatever problems she had with him. She'd cheat on me the second she got another high from the same thing.

A mixture of my own personal behaviour, the lack of opportunities, and a string of bad relationships.

This is what really fucking gets me: it feels like no one wants to put any effort into anything.

I've complained about it before. Basically, why would anyone who's single put any effort into it when the honeymoon period is over? And especially if you can hook up with someone else so easily.

Responsibility for someone else's feelings can be such a bummer, right?

I see a lot of clips online (after I did a mega deep dive about dating after my my last relationship ended), and it seems like nowadays if you're not gamifying the process, you're backed into a corner to do that very thing. You need to dig in and make sure you ask the right probing questions on the first date so you know what the red flags are, and you need to know attraction and attachment styles, and anally overanalyze every possible interaction or else you're just going to be wasting your time in a cloud of uncertainty and they're going to dump you in the worst possible way, and you're going to feel even worse about it, because fuck it, you tried your hardest to weed out everyone that was "wrong" for you that you probably squicked out someone who could be "right", too.

I've even talked to a therapist about this.

Just the prospect of dating at this point has become exhausting, that when at least one person I've met in real life is very obviously interested, I'm now overthinking about it to the point of, I don't know if I could legit like the guy if I found myself interested, because I've got too many voices in my head telling me to search for any and every wrong thing about this guy.

So...therapy comes first. Dating is a distant second.

Never ever try to save a woman from "her evil boyfriend" or another man. They eventually need to be "saved" from you, and there's a very high chance it's a BPD that just decided you're her new favorite person (and since her boyfriend is no longer her favorite person she now hates him).

I know (of) someone living in Canada who divorced his lazy wife and finds dates just outright ask about how much he earns or imply that question by their conversation. He probably earns enough for them as Canadian house prices are no concern for him, but he's understandably very 'get away from me' about that sort of woman.

I found and have been messaging a cute lurker foid from the /soc board of 4chan for several weeks now after I got very drunk and posted a very sexually charged ad there. This is going way, way too well for the premise.
Fakecel status soon? wagmi?
